How do you adjust the solenoid? I put a New clutch in but it releases to fast now

Sorry it has been a few days. I sold this car a while back, but i do not believe the solenoid can be adjusted. If you have an autostick, i believe the adjust for what you are asking is on the vacuum canister. There is a threaded rod that goes into the canister that can be adjusted and i think that is what you need.

Thank you for this video. I will try your fix. It sound like it will work. Question... What where the 3 additional rubber parts that you ordered off the newer VW. I think you said they were 6mm each?? Do you know the part names and the year they came off of? I want to follow your lead and completely rebuild the solenoid so I don't keep having issues. Thanks a ton for this info!!!

@@friedgizzard Thanks buddy!!! I found the parts on ebay using the Key Words you gave me. Did you buy your parts from this Ebay seller? How many of the mounts did you need?

Daryl Finley when i purchased they came in a pack of 3. My solenoid required 3 rubber feet to mount it. I don’t know what seller I purchased from. Good Luck!

Hey man, just curious where you bought these gloves? I was looking at the manufacturer and the item # on the tag you had in this video, but they want like $100 for a pack of them which I think is insanely high for gloves. Thanks if you can get back to me!

I am pretty sure I bought those at lowes. Look for gloves to change out battery acid or paint strippers and chemicals. I found them on google for $5 on up to $45. The color is what you are really after, that color of glove is the right material and thickness. Its been a while so sorry i cant go get a pic of them for you.
