if i may give an advice: you could possibly get a few more seconds if you use your portable truck a little more often. especially in situations were you just have to wait for the trucks to start. just to not loose speed and get over a decent distance and levitate to your next destination. ps.: just my opinion, im not decent enough to actually speedrun. :) but great work mate.
I was pretty jealous you were this good already even though the game was only out for like 1 day. Then I noticed you've been playing for 7 months already. So I'm not going to be to hard on myself for now
It is form of diagonal boosting, you may be familiar with it in some more retro 3D games. If not, it is when the forward and strafing vectors of movement added together, without being normalised (making velocity equal in all directions). Think of square with a side length of 2, and circle with diameter of 2. The radii for the circle is equal in all directions, while the radii for the square is longer in the diagonals. This results in a bit faster speed than holding W. As for the 30 degrees angle, that is due to the sprint only affecting the forward movements, not the side or back ones.
