This is exactly it, I actually don’t consider myself being a nervous person, but it’s a feeling of anxiety in the body. When I try to figure out if anything has triggered it, often times it just starts for no particular reason.

It's not uncommon to experience those unexplained moments of anxiety, even if you generally don't consider yourself a nervous person. Our bodies can sometimes react with anxiety without a clear external trigger. Been figuring out this journey for a while and made the connection between SIBO and too much histamine which has plagued me for most of my life since I was a teenager. I'm nearly 40. Some of the symptoms I've dealt with are hives, itchy blisters, brain fog, fatigue, forgetfulness, tinnitus, twitches, chronic IBS, bloating, unusual discharge, mood swings and depression. I can't believe I've made it this far in life without knowing the root cause until I read up about the low histamine diet and it has been the only constant in making me feel better. After the elimination diet I found the major culprit that worsens my issues is coffee. I find I don't get proper rest for at least 2 days after a caffeinated cup and if I drink for 2 days straight the majority of the symptoms reappear.

Wow.. I'm literally a coffee addict ☕ lately past 5 or 10 years.. before that I drank nothing but tea.. do you mind me asking where you got a reputable list of high histamine foods.. I'm just guessing tomatoes are on the list because I appear to be having quite a bad reaction to them quite fast for me ..usually I will swell up the next day after eating something but with tomatoes it's within a few hours

You literally changed my life with this video. I've been struggling with debilitating vertigo and migraines for the last 18 months ... my Dr had no idea what it is so I've just been suffering with it. Had no idea that it could be histamine intolerance but everything lines up! THANK YOU so much.

Try using a DAO enzyme from Seeking Health to help breakdown dietary histamine. They also have another product called Histamine Nutrients, which can can help.. Also make sure you are getting enough vitamin C to clear the histamine and try to get a natural source of vitamin C and not synthetic..
      Just a suggestion..

Anxiety for myself is driven by cortisol and histamine I wish they would leave me. I used to love waking and enjoying the morning now my awakening response has changed. Morning now starts with extreme panic doom terror and everything you’ve said. It also gives me severe depression with SI that has to freaking wear off during the day. I feel normal at night and insane during the morning now. This sucks. Thank you for this video. I was abruptly stopped from 12 years of a benZo prescribed for sleep and anxiety. Benzos are mast cell stabilisers now I have severe issues because of this. I haven’t taken a benzo in two years now I still have the histamine intolerance. This withdrawal has caused extreme stress. I do have sibo sifo Candida with low hcl. I got akathisia from the stopping of the medication. My dopamine is broken now. No doctor know how to fix this issue. I’m also homozygous MTHFR reduced DAO high homocysteine. I swear histamine gives me psychosis. I have really bad endometriosis and my tubes are tied. I don’t know what my root cause is I also had a month long round of Cipro

I used to have the same morning anxiety. My mornings were full of dread followed by depression. I would suggest working on training your mind and body to find safety. Calming your nervous system. You have to incorporate the mind and body approach. Clean diet, avoiding foods that cause you symptoms. And working on teaching your body safety. Slowing down your thoughts, you have to learn the skill of separating thoughts from feelings. And being in your body.

@@evenform - I think we are all individual in this. Benadryl helps me a little but is very bad for your memory (my short term memory is gone). What has helped me the most is a very large dose of DAO enzymes (8 mgs.) at every meal. It has improved my sleep and my mood and lowered the post meal symptoms about 75%.

Yep, that's me. What worked for me is cutting out pulses, especially kidney beans, and switching to green smoothies. I drink 2.5 liters of green smoothies a day and I add around 80 grams of flax seeds. I have a Vitamix, but something like a NutriBullet works as well. I do use some spinach, but that turns out to be high in histamine. Broccoli and kale are better. I include around 30% fruit in my smoothie (apples are rich in quercetin), a kiwi for vitamin C (the gold ones with skin), and the rest (70%) is all vegetables. Having all that green goodness in my stomach allowed me to also take supplements within a few weeks.

What do you use to bind the histamine? Ive been gluten free for decades, but I notice problems with gf grains and high oxalate foods. Also, fermented dairy and grains, like sourdough cause problems in my brain. Its a strange headache. I can tolerate fermented vegetables though. What supplements would you suggest? Im post menopausal and eat a low oxalate diet.

I started a low histamine diet and only a week later I feel SO much better!! Much more calm. I have no reason to have anxiety from my life. It was like an internal driven edginess -can’t sit still, can’t relax, insomnia Ugh some people have IBS, migraines. No fermented foods for me at all now. Gluten free for years now stopping dairy too. Trouble is … so many healthy foods are high in histamines (avocados, cultured dairy, my favorite snack used to be nitrate free salami, cheese, red wine and olives! Treacherous! ! All of the things that you're listing off seem to be some sort of deficiency in the immune system that is probably arising from a deficiency in the person's diet such as zinc or magnesium, or maybe even a vitamin. And these are things that you can't always measure for. However, farmers only put three main nutrients back into the soil when plants remove hundreds from the soil and our soil isn't alive anymore. Like there is no microbiome to the soil. Most of it is just dead with a couple of nutrients in it. So of course people are going to be having these new medical conditions. But I do think being in Australia you should be considering being over vitamin D as opposed to under vitamin D😅

I have sifo and so avoid fruits and take sacc boulardii and anti fungal herbs/spices such as ginger/turmeric, thyme, rosemary, sage, oregano. I dont have sibo but have gluten and dairy intolerances, Im down to chicken no skin, rocket, zucchini, bok choy, olive oil, sea salt and water, pumpkin and gluten free bread. Ive tried substituting the ppi with slippery elm, dgl, tums (calcium tab to reduce acid) Gaviscon but those last two make allergic reactions worse, tried carnivore but beef is 'rested' here in England for 3 weeks and so its high in histamine, I thonk if I could stop taking the acid reducers then i could be healed, infact ivr been taking only half the ppi dose and.my symptoms qre worse maybe the esophagus gets damged and esonophils increase and cause histamines to shoot up as well?
