Just ordered a new M32Q for $299 as all of the reviews over the last year or so have really been rating this model well and claiming it was a good buy back at a $449 price point. Figured it would be hard to go wrong for $299. Will be pushing it with a 10700k and 3080 gpu.
O yeah, more than enough juice to get a solid performance from the monitor. I am sure it has turned out very well for you. It truly is a great monitor.
should i buy or 32 inch or 27 inch? i heard 32 inch will stress your eyes much more than 27 inch and its also will be kinda blurry for 2k comparing to 27 inch 2k, please let me know
@@josephjoestar9021 1080 doesn’t look blurry at 32”, why would 1440? In some cases 1440 will look noticeably sharper and that’s why you buy it but pixelation isn’t exactly noticeable most of the time at normal viewing distances even in 1080, it’s very case specific on what you’re looking at. 27” or 32” will both be fine just pick what is right for your desk space and consider if a larger screen will better meet your needs for field of view, application use, etc.
Great review!! I really need your opinion on what to get from these 3 monitors: - Gigabyte M32QC - MSI Optix AG321CQR - LG 32GP850-B I’m not a gamer, I just want the monitor for home office and browsing, but I want the best performance for that. Your help would be highly appreciated!!😊
Thanks for the question, you probably want to look at the Gigabyte and LG, the LG has better color accuracy while the Gigabyte is a KVM monitor. If you are not familiar, it could be helpful for home office use. But if it is not, then go LG for the accuracy.
In this year, at the same price, would you suggest the LG GP850-B or the Gigabyte M27Q-P? I only play League of Legends, watch videos for the most part, and do school work for the rest.
Yeah that's a tough one. I might go LG only because I'm not sure the 27-in gigabyte is as bright as the 32. Maybe check that spec against the LG. If the LG is brighter, go with that guy.
One thing I’d reiterate that you did mention is that gigabyte has terrible quality control. I purchased a M28U for use on PS5 and Xbox X. It shipped with a dead pixel out of the box and had an issue where the monitor would power itself off and immediately back on (causing a 5-10 second black screen) at random times, sometimes as often as every 10 minutes. I RMA’d that one and they sent a replacement. The replacement had the exact same issue where it would just turn itself off and on so I returned it and got a refund, so I personally am staying away from gigabyte from now on
Yeah I have heard some pretty rough stories and yours falls in line with those. It's a lottery for sure. Hopefully you found something worthwhile after all that.
In 2023 do you still recommend the Gigabyte M27q this is my first monitor and I’m just lost but I do want a 1440p. For sure and I’m not playing any heavy games Like Csgo just some gta Role play and call of duty on stream
I think you want the M27QP or the M32Q, the M27Q may be an older model. So I could have mispoken in the video. Either way, between Gigabyte M32Q and GP83, I would typically go Gigabyte.
I’m just looking for something that will do the job for a 1440p monitor for streaming honestly I’m not picky but some monitor literally have a the same specs but one is 499 and others are 299 so I’m confused
Do you think the M32Q is still the best 1440p monitor for Xbox Series X? I don't want a curved screen. Also, i noticed your game colors seem a bit off and it doesn't look like you were playing 120FPS...were you not playing on 1440p 120 or was the camera not aboe to capture it? And what about the colors? Ik a lot of questions but i really just want a monitor for my xbox to play 120fps on.
So I capture in 120fps and play in 120fps, but YT is limited to 60fps on the platform. Who knows why or when that will change. Maybe check your monitor or screen for color accuracy as well. My videos are all color corrected, so if anything is off...either it is the monitor in the video...or the display you are using.
Do u recommend 27 inch 1080p 240hz or 27 inch 1440p 144hz? The problem is that i will only use it for playing competitive fps like valorant (no triple a games) and some digital work/media consumption
First I would tell you to check out this BenQ, th-cam.com/video/YTxIyfTsjzc/w-d-xo.html For you, since gaming is the primary use, I would find something that will pair well with your GPU at the fidelity settings you would like. If you can achieve 240hz, it may be worth a high refresh rate monitor. But if you are only hitting 160fps or lower then there is not need to go there. If you are extremely competitive, looking to compete or game at the next level, then stick with 1080p. Otherwise either choice will give you good benefits.
Opinions on the S2722DGM from Dell? It's a 1440p, 27 inch curved, VA panel with freesync premium. It doesn't say on their website, but some reviews talk about compatibility with G-Sync. Love your videos man. I just found your page and I haven't seen too many people go into depth like you have.

M27q in my country is around 330$ , but 27GP850-B , anh M27q-p is around the same price 410$ which do you think i should get. Also do you think those model price will drop down more at the end of 2022 or early 2023 ?
I believe the M27QP is the newest of the 27 inch model. It is a tough call between that and the LG. IDK if the prices will drop, LG is pretty good about running sales and so is gigabyte. It is always a gamble on discounts though.
Hi) If you do not pay attention to the price, what would you choose? LG or Gigabyte? I heard that the contrast ratio / black level on LG is much worse than on Gigabyte, what can you say about this?
Gigabyte has a better calibration menu, which allows it to control that black level a bit better. It definitely isn't as bright as the LG, but it can really dial SDR/HDR content really well.
Been thinking of picking up at M27Q for gaming/productivity, but am hesitant because of the BGR text issue. I use my monitor for work for 6-7hour a day, and game for a couple hours. Is the text clarity as bad as people say it is? I have narrowed down my choices to the M27Q, LG 27GP83B, and the MAG274QRF-QD.
