You aren't missing anything on social media buddy, I also avoid them wherever possible.
I ceramic coated mine when I got it to try and keep it nice, only had my SG for 3 weeks but loving it so far and mine is black also.

Stage #2 with a Redshift 468 and Dyno tune, the difference is incredible 103 HP with 120 torque

I enjoyed the opening REV. man I would love to ride over there. My paint on my SG is to thin and have to paint it as well. It is the BIKE garbage paint job. HD being cheap. My 03 EG paint is way better.

Pretty decent quid for a paint-job!
But, on a working bike? Nope. Not worth it.
Now we're getting down to why you have your knickers in a knot, 'ey chap? Aesthetics.
