I look forward to every episode, this channel has energized my passion for motorcycles, I think the open minded enthusiastic way Freddie conducts himself is brilliant. I just feel good after every episode, Thank you Freddie Dobbs.
Hi Freddie from NZ. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this episode. I have been riding bikes for 46 years. I started by buying chopper magazine then moved to dirt bike magazines then to reality on a Vespa 50 inherited from my deceased father. That was 1978. I now am the proud owner of a mint 2016 CB1100EX. It really is a dream. I remember in chopper magazine back in 75 76 77 circa a hard tail honda 750 four. The title was "A Honda called Neptune" the memory of that bike has stuck with me all these years later. The paint work was like 3d underwater forest of greens and emerald greens. It was an exquisite bike. I wish I'd kept the magazine. PS my son Ryan hosted the guys from Biltwell on a bike trip in NZ when they came over recently to promote the brand at the Burt Munro rally in Invercargill. You can read about the trip they did on their website. Anyway great entertainment Froddo.
Hi Freddie, thanks for such a fantastic upload, possibly the best I have watched on your channel! This was so fascinating and such an amazingly talented guy, stunning bikes and a workshop I want to live in! I will be watching this again and will follow them in the future! Thanks again to you and Monica for all your hard work and efforts 👍
What an incredible place El Lobo is! What they do is surely art, not just mechanics and the craftsmanship that goes into every bike is outstanding. Suffolk is beautiful, so I’ll pop in next time I’m up there. Another great video, by the way!
Ohh Freddie, what an incredible experience & to hear from another passionate bike builder. A great video that must have made your eyes watery! A ton of time & a ton of skill. Brilliant.
This brought me back to the old Biker Build-off days. With those Indian Larry portraits on the wall. The bike from Exile cycles was a nice surprise in this video.
What a gem of a find Freddie, a really special place to be shown around. Can’t say chops are my thing but you have to admire the skills of guys like this. The ex pat Russell that he mentioned is also just exceptional. Not known for producing ‘pretty’ bikes, he tends to call them ‘rolling Easter eggs’!! Love that phrase 😂 Great video Freddie, I felt it could have gone on for an hour or more.
What a truly inspiring set-up Joost has going there. I wish him the best for the Biltwell comp. It's no mean undertaking getting to where he's got to with his business. People like him are the life blood of the custom bike scene and by extension, keeps the dream alive for all us bikers, custom or otherwise. Great interview and videography Freddie. You've kicked it up a gear with this one.
Morning Freddie more videos like this please brilliant workmanship Even to the people who don't like Harleys use your imagination and pict😊ure what could be done with your own motorcycles.
I’ve been to many HD custom shows and it’s amazing to see how many ways you can build a bike. I love the fact that for the competition they need to ride the bike 50 miles, no slouches allowed!
I love this! My first interest in bikes started when I was a small child and my dad sold Mac Tools from a truck. I would go out with him at weekends and there was this Harley Davidson dealer he serviced. The guys that ran it would let me clamber all over the bikes whilst my dad was selling tools to the mechanics. From then on I’ve been utterly obsessed with motorbikes.
LOL...great paintjob on the first bike....looking at book on Brough and there's a 1927 picture of a sidecar with similar pattern of chequerboard 'paint' on its nose...except it was a piece of lino from the kitchen.
I don't believe you could fail to be impressed not just by the operation and business acumen of the owner but by the end products, bikes that look superb but can also be ridden.
I used to love watching American Chopper but seeing the quality of these builds really makes the shows bikes look cheap. Best of luck in the competition.👍🏻😍
I was expecting to see Freddie's Decathlon powered camping trip, but looking out of the window these last few days I'm wondering whether it might have been shelved for a while.
I saw a brand new Ducati today here in Ascot ! It was so loud Freddie but it was a cross between a tourer and a racer , big wide tyres on it but with a nice large seat and all in White with side holders on it so you can carry luggage probably the perfect combo for such a Bike also the 666 bike at 5 min mark in the vid looks cool but id be scared of bad luck if i tried to ride that lol
Hey Freddie. Great Ep. Got me thinking about a podcast subject. It would be near impossible to build anything like this and use it on the road here in Australia due to our engineering rules and insurance. How do you work it in the U.K?
Don’t want to derail the comment section but the new Mutt DRK-01 125 and 250 has been released with a brand new and more powerful engine. It would be fantastic to see a video on that in the near future.
Unless you have more money than sense steer clear of custom Harleys as that 30 grand bike will suddenly be worth whatever the registration year says it is there a nightmare to sell and you will loose thousands Unless you have a glossy showroom to sell it from
Fantastic to see a successful bike builder in the UK , and I must say a very cool looking HQ , lovely dogs .
Fantastic episode Freddie….Amazingly talented guys - good luck in the competition
It is so good to see people with a passion along the skill, expertise still making incredible machines and thriving.

Another great video, by the way!
Fascinating Freddie to see these quality custom builds with superb attention to detail.
Fascinating - such passion for bikes - English manufacturing does still happen.
Great episode, interesting to see the process, builds and workshop!
Brilliant episode Freddie, what a set up he has there. Good luck in the competition!
More of this type of content please Freddie. Really good watch
I have to say the last episode got me rolling 😂 absolute rollercoaster! Great expectations with this one ❤

Wow what a fantastic Episode Freddie !!! The one thing you missed to ask was "Is that cup full of Tea" !!!

Amazing what goes on out there. I think the future is in good hands, despite everything wrong in the world.
Oh Freddie , if this video was 2-3 hours long I'd have watched every minute. Fantastic video.
Delighted you enjoyed it!
We will put a vote I for El Lobo. Saw the bike from upstairs at the BikeShed show last month. Great build
Tremendous. Joe and George have looked after my HD with expert care. Good luck gents you deserve a win! 🏆
The People's Champ event was spectacular this year. Joe's bike was insane in person!
Good morning from holland Freddie , always a pleasure watching your videos
Wow, what a great place and a great find.
Great video, good to see this sort of engineering and customisation is still alive and well in Britain.

I remember riding around the streets of Gloucester in the early 80's on our scooters with Russ Mitchell. He went off to be an actor. Top bloke 🤘🛵
Good looking HDQ and nice to see the dogs running around, especially the Rhodesian Ridgeback.
Those signature Dunlop D404 threads are timeless
just love the last bike Awesome.
Unbelievably cool place, such skills from these guys 😍😍😍
Excellent. Right up my street.
Wow that's some place 👏 good luck in the competition 👍👍
Vote complete. Good luck, what an amazing shop
Awesome builds. I'm in Bay Area, CA which has a very similar scene as LA, so these builds speak to this supernaked junkie. Breathed on HD's are fun.
Absolute Gem of a place !
Beautiful machines ❤
Joes a lovely bloke, hope he wins.
Thanks Freddie very informative 👍
Boy, those are some lovely bikes. I’m not the biggest Harley fan, but I’d be honored to own one of those. I’m always a sucker for the doggoes🤣
Style, enterprise, imagination and the skills to realise the dreams! Am in awe tho' I'm more a UJM guy.😯
Very cool place 🤟🤟👍
Every builders dream workshop with excellent builds and engineering...PS. Freddie it,s pronounced...Lowbo.
Glad to have watched a specialist workshop visit, Freddie
Talented bike builders I can't stand these kind of bikes myself mind😂
NOT a Harley fan but......this bloke and what he does with Bikes is the Bollocks!!
Great video Freddy, really interesting. They need some front mudguards though 😁😁
some great bikes - what a cool workshop🙂
I don't believe you could fail to be impressed not just by the operation and business acumen of the owner but by the end products, bikes that look superb but can also be ridden.
What a passion!
Voted. Great video and amazing bike builder!
Got my vote in! 💪🏻
Good to see custom builders from our cousins overseas
HD bikes that are 30 years old have no import charges when imported to England.
Lovely to know I’ve got a Freddy vid to watch later today …Sunday has started nicely ⭐️
Thanks Guy, have a great day!
What a treat
These are the boys
very impressive.
I used to love watching American Chopper but seeing the quality of these builds really makes the shows bikes look cheap. Best of luck in the competition.👍🏻😍
I voted for his bike because it was best of the bunch.
Interesting and well presented.
Voting 🙌🏻👌🏻
I was expecting to see Freddie's Decathlon powered camping trip, but looking out of the window these last few days I'm wondering whether it might have been shelved for a while.
I’ve just got back from my camping trip- it was a bit of a rollercoaster! Thursday will be the video from day one of the trip🤘🏼
You are a brave man Freddie, I saw the Bonnie all packed up on Insta the other day, looked out of the kitchen window and thought "rather him than me".
@@FreddieDobbs “it was a bit of a rollercoaster”. We expect no less Freddie!!

Just voted for Joe in the Biltwell competition, i hope he wins!!
I want somebody to love me like this guy loves his tea cup.
Oh i really thought it was darcy 😂
Super

Big up Copdock!…. must go see as live nearby.
I love this part of the country🖤
Outrageous (in a good way)
Don’t want to derail the comment section but the new Mutt DRK-01 125 and 250 has been released with a brand new and more powerful engine.
It would be fantastic to see a video on that in the near future.
Interesting- I hadn’t heard of this, thanks for the heads up🙌🏻
Love Mutts, love their look, love their sound! They're so old school. A new Mutt video would be great, it's been about 3 years since the last one!
very interesting. thanks. Half Dutch - he sure sounds American.
Exactly what I thought, and I'm from the states!!
@@m.f.m.67 me, too - Fla.
👍🏻🇨🇦
Great video Freddie! I wonder how on earth they get insurance for those.
I always wonder this- where would you start with the list😆
@@FreddieDobbs most wouldn’t insure I think- assuming theirs specialist insurers.
👍👍
I went to Sunday school at Copdock Rectory.
👍
Freddie, you've been to Spain, it's not El Lobbo it's El LowBo.
Who's the New Zealand one Freddie?
Are they Auckland or North Island based?
I'm in NZ, keen to check them out.
Freddie is it just me or has the quality of your videos on TV severely degraded.
They are perfectly ok on my iPad. It’s a new Tv by the way 🤔
How much for a build 😂 nice premises
Anyone else want to hear about the grey bike on the lift that they totally ignored?

Mate you look so much like Freddie flintoff , even your voice sounds similar to his
What I wouldn't give to live in a little hide away like that with enough space for a few bikes and the dogs roaming free
Interesting tour but they aren't my cuppa tea. Wishing them all the best in the comp though
A good interview from a slow start. This chap looks to have built a successful business. The look and sound of choppers isn't to my taste at all.
Evos were bullet proof hd gone downhill after that and the electric ones are silly
🤤
