Thanks Dan I'm so glad you like it. That's a great idea, I planned on doing something like that but didn't think about showing the prep ahead part. I think that would be very helpful for people. I'm just waiting for the weather to clear in Ohio then I can invite a bunch of family over and do it. I appreciate you watching and the great suggestion. Have a good one Dan.
Here's an older video I did last year that's kind of along those lines. The quality isn't as good because it was an earlier video and it was more about being cheap but thought I'd share anyways.

Made this griddler jealous 😅 lots of variety in this video and tasty tips. I do my Reubens pretty well the same. Steve will never know what hit him haha
Thanks Garrett, ya I love making Rueben's. They're def in one of my top 3 favorite sandwiches.
Can you imagine living next to Johnny? I'd be over all the time to do taste tests.
@@scottgorman7166 I'd gladly be a quality control/taste tester/recipe guinea pig 😅
Just wanted to say, I made my family your steak fajitas tonight, it was an absolute hit! They loved it!! Thank you! Quick and easy!!
That's awesome thanks so much for sharing. That really makes my day, glad I could help.
We tried the smash burger. It was awesome. Thanks again
Awesome Dane! Thank you Soo much for sharing. I love it when people make stuff from my videos.
Thanks for the great videos. Your comments about Steve have me rolling. I have a Member’s Mark 5 burner coming soon, so I’m watching videos and taking notes in the meantime. Do you thaw the hash browns prior, or toss them on frozen? 2 lb bag, I’m guessing?
You're welcome Sherry thanks so much for watching! You don't have to thaw them. I've done them both ways and they turn out good each way for me.
Love it brother, the commentary is on point! Say hi to Steve …
Thanks Jesse, I'll tell him you said what's up 😂
What did Steve do to you? Have to let it go bro!!!!! LMAO, great grill video!!!!!
😂😂😂😂😂 I know I need to just worry about me lol. Thanks for watching Jennifer.
You are hilarious! I love this content. 😂😍
Thanks so much!
Great video! What temp for the hash browns?
Thanks Scott, I usually cook them around 375 or 400
Thank you, love your videos
Thanks Norm I'm glad you like em and I appreciate you watching buddy.
I bought a outdoor gourmet 4 burner last week, been trying different things.
Awesome Jeremy, congratulations on the new griddle!
You are funny while being informative! Thank you.
Thanks so much Kori!!! I'm glad the videos are informative, I really appreciate you watching.
Freakin' Steve.
Excellent video.
😁 thanks.
Your videos are Awesome 👏

Thanks Cliff!
. . . new subscriber here.
Hi! I have the same flat top, don't use it much, but I love it.
Hey thanks so much for watching and subscribing.
Did you refer to the American cheese as the freedom cheese? Love it!
😁 ya I'm trying to start a new trend! Thanks for watching Anthony.
for all you west coasters, Krogers means Ralphs. Can’t wait to make the fajitas on my griddle!
Very true Danny. I was in California for a bit after college and used to go to the Ralph's. I used my same Kroger card and everything didn't realize until I got there that they were the same. Thanks for watching man.
I'm jealous Johnny...wait, I have a GRIDDLE, I can make these, LOL Smash burger once a week, Rubens (NEVER), it's a sauerkraut thing, I agree with your wife, cheesesteaks is the way to go (at least once a month). Brauts, not often. Fajitas, use to make these often, recently, not so much. Will have to re-visit for sure. Homemade Chimmeychonga, winner, winner, chicken dinner. Has brown eggs, never made before. Will be trying out soon, maybe for dinner even. Oh, so where and when can I get my T-shirt??? You know which 1 I'm talking g about. Great cook and video, GRIDDLE ON DUDE.
That's a good idea Bruno I need to do a chinneychonga video! And I need to get on those T-shirts I'm slacking!. I do have a custom knife being made though and I got the diet slogan engraved in the side. Once I get it I will feature it in a video.
I had to laugh, my neighbor is Steve also lol
🤣🤣🤣
“…Opened a Perogie business after her husband stopped receiving acting gigs” 😂😂😂😂
😁😁😁
Love the recipes. Love the humor. Keep it all coming Johnny, great stuff.
Thanks buddy!
Add a stick of butter to the beer brats with onions to make it even better.
I've never added a stick of butter to anything and not been happy with the results so I'm sure this would be amazing. thanks for the tip I am going to do that next time for sure. Also the Market in Columbus Ohio has a bunch of vendors and the polish place just adds giant sticks of butter to there pans of sausages and perogies, so that must be the way to go. Thanks.
You want healthy recipes you are at the wrong TH-cam channel. got me to like and subscribe
Hahahaha nice. Figured I might as well plant my flag in the ground on that one so people know what they are in for. None of the keto stuff on here. Thanks for subing and watching man, have a good one.
Once I seen the bacon and the butter touchI hit the subscribe button lol Much love from Tacoma Washington
Don't you mean an OKLAHOMA Smash Burger? You're on fire with the puns mi amigo!
Hahaha very true! Thanks buddy.
Hilarious! Great recipes too.. You've earned a new subscriber. Thank you
Hey Jim thanks so much I'm glad you liked it and found it funny. I also appreciate you subscribing. Have a good one brother. That's a sweet looking bike btw
Stick that in your smoke and pip it…..Steve.. after 4 beers…lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Came for the recipes, subbed for the narration. Cracking a brew open for you dude!
Haha thanks brother glad you liked it, and hopefully you enjoyed that beer.
@@JohnnyBrunet a local DIPA from the PNW. typical!
@@LaserWolf what's the PNW? Is that a brewery near you. I enjoy the DIPA's as well but they'll sneak up on you.
@@JohnnyBrunet Pacific Northwest! I’m in Tacoma WA. breweries like Starbucks here.
@@LaserWolf oh sweet, I've heard that before about WA and Portland. I need to make a trip to the northwest some time.
😂 “…why my left hand has an O.J. Glove on it…” 😂😂 Great video once again. Thanx. 🇨🇦👍🏼
😁😁😁 glad you caught that Barry. I totally forgot I even said it in this video lol. Stay warm up north buddy!
First thing I made on my Griddle was Fajitas, Second thing was Ruben Sandwiches, Third was Corned Beef Hash, 2 & 3 were leftovers from Corned Beef and Cabbage.
That is a good trio of cooks to start off with. Also I love corned beef and cabbage so you're a man after my own heart.
@@JohnnyBrunet Fun Fact: The Corned Beef was cooked in a Instapot...how much more Internet Cooking could you add? 🤣
@@Timinator62 hahahaha sounds like you need to start a channel!
Best one yet love the steve parts
Thanks Matt, I appreciate you watching.
Love the onion burger
Totally agree Johnny. So simple but soo good!
"freedom cheese"! I LOVE IT!
😁😁😁
We've seen cinnamon rolls, but are there any sweets/deserts you can do on the griddle?
That's a good questions Dale I will have to come up with something. When I worked at Bob Evans we used to throw the banana bread on the griddle then top it with some ice cream. That was always a nice treat maybe I should do a video about that.
More yums.
O.J. glove. Nice.
😁
Dude said add some freedom cheese 😆 bruh
😁😁😁, thanks for watching Marquez
not sure if neighbor "Steve" is really your enemy or just apart of your inside jokes . . . either way it's got me laughin' so hard my eyes are watering. Of course that could be my allergies or those 4 extra beers. Either way, keep up the good work. Enjoying the laid-back humor and your griddle recipes.
Hahaha I might embellish a little bit about neighbor Steve but I'm glad you enjoy the jokes. And 4 extra beers sounds good to me your my kind of drinker Mike! Thanks so much for watching and I appreciate the kind words.
Great video
Thanks Larry!
I have the Steelamde flat top for glass ceramic stoves.. 3/16in thick steel, would i be able to also use this on a propane grill??
That's a good question Vincent. I would assume that it would because they make custom steel griddle tops for gas grills as well. However I've never done it so I would contact there customer service before I tried.
@@JohnnyBrunet thank for the response
@@vincentcaraballo6370 you're welcome
So, I have headphones on and my wife is looking at me like what are you laughing at. "Mrs T had to start a business because her husband stopped receiving acting gigs" 😂😂cooking in the winter thats why my left hand has an OJ glove on it"😂😂😂
😁😁😁 glad you liked it and I could give you a few chuckles.
New to your video's looks good. Going to be watching more of them. New to flat top grill.
Hey Warren, thanks for watching and congratulations on the new griddle. Let me know if you have any questions.
That Steve guy, never did like him much! 🤣
Me neither 😂😂😂😂😂
That "onion burger" is a smash burger. It all looks delish!
Oh ya it's just a smash burger with onions, but it's delicious. Thanks so much for watching.

Steve’s comment
“If I had one of these griddle things, I would be using a much more expensive fajita mixture, because that’s how I role”
😂😂😂😂😂
@@JohnnyBrunet We have all had a “Steve” in our lives at some point. LOL
So true lol.
Was that a browns sherwin Williams giveaway hat?
Yes sir!!!!! Thursday night against the Jets. Bakers first win after Tyrod got hurt. We were there for out buddies bachelor party and they gave those away. It was a great night.
Also it was the rally possum and that happened about 4 rows right in front of us.
Ima do the Ruebens tonight. Then tomorrow night I'm thinking steak or chicken fajitas. ...Then next week, I'll start my diet. LOL. CHEERS!! Oh and hang a finger over the fence to Steve for me.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 hang a finger over the fence. Sounds like you got a good menu lined up for this week. Thanks again for watching multiple videos Danny.
