Resolved the issue on my Lincoln MKT, thanks!
What was your issue?
@@HK304
Originally, the telescoping motor died and i had to replaces the steering column assembly. After installing, i remembered that i had the steering wheel in the back of the truck which was flopping around when I drove to the store. I broke the clock spring. Upon replacing it I didn't truly Center the new steering column. After re-centering the steering column steering wheel, all was good!

I have a Ford Edge 2008.. the steering is very stiff and hard to control until I press on the accelerator.. can you please help?
Sounds like a rack and pinion
My tuner indicates that my steering sensor is turned all the way to the left, so whenever I start it up, it is incredibly stiff to turn left until I accelerate. Sounds like you have a similar issue, which is either an issue with the Yaw Rate Sensor or the Steering Wheel Position Sensor.
What's your location?
Why wait hour
Good
