    Nothing embarrassing about making mistakes. What’s embarrassing is not admitting you made a mistake. Your
    mistakes help us learn. Great teacher! 😊🇨🇦

    You are awesome my man thank you. I originally replaced the indicator stalk thinking that was the original problem...and I forgot to replace the pedal adjustment screw after everything was back in place...we all do it. No embarrasment at all. Respect though for doing it ourselves and saving money. I appreciate the video and help. Thank you sir,

    So I did the same exact thing - I changed out the clock spring but didn't realize the steering position sensor was attached to it on the back - so I threw it out and installed my new clock spring without the steering sensor!!! then got all these error messages. Now I ordered a new sensor and will repeat the process!! LOL live, learn, share! that's the way.

    I took my clock spring off but I don’t have a steering angle sensor behind it, wondering if it’s built into the clock spring or if someone removed it previously

      Costly video in a way. I torn a perfectly good steering sensor apart. Oh well made a video on it at least.

    This info is know where on the youtube..the steering angle sensor and the clock spring on these fords are 2 seperate parts. Clock spring only controls steering wheel functions...ie turn signals and radio buttons. Steering angle sensor will cause your electrical power steering to go out if it has a program fault. You may or may not have to reprogram it. Best best bet is to get a new part from the dealer and get it programed. Both parts will cause your abs and tractions light to turn on. Make sure you check your vehicle codes for the specific issue especially if you have a loss of power steering.

      @MACTFordEdge  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      All good no programing was required. Thanks for the comment. I watched a bunch of older Ford Edge video but none were showing both parts and the newer bolt used to connect them. Hoping this helps others.

    When you removed the clock spring we did not see the old steering angle sensor? Are you adding this on? I have an explorer and it has no steering angle sensor like yours upon initial removal?? So confused

      Hi, if you watch the video from the beginning he tells you that this was a “do over” because he had removed the original sensor and destroyed it, this video shows him installing a new one. Hope this helps

    One thing I missed was did you have to buy that piece you missed? In other words for that need to be replaced too? Or can you reuse the one that was being used ?

    Hi, friend i have a doubt didn't your truck have the Steering wheel, becouse on your videos It doesn't show that you took off one, you just added one. My question Is why
    Now that i have a problem in my truck that the Steering wheel isn't showing AND it's coming just like yours with out the Steering wheel you installed. So how had the truck been working with out that sensor or why you added It. Greetings thanks.

      This is the second video. I completely messed up the clock spring in the first video and had to buy a new one then assemble both parts together and re-install them. Thus yes it was missing and I was and do take fault for messing it up. This video is fixing that mess up I made.
