      I find your routine should be very beneficial for me...I have a but...I can not stand on the left to do the right its very sensitive..I have surgery coming up in the few weeks for full hip replacement..I hope you can suggest something..

    I'm not technically a senior, but I have had extensive orthopedic surgeries - spinal fusion and hip surgery, so these exercises are extremely helpful to me, especially in the morning to loosen up and increase mobility. For me, functional exercise is key, not working out for aesthetic purposes, so I'm very happy to have found your channel with standing routines. Thank you for your excellent training style without loud music in the background...

    I have arthritis in my hips. When I wake up I am stiff and achy. I discovered these exercises last week. What a difference. I do the standing warm up and these hip exercises each morning and I feel soo much better when I am finished. Thanks so much Mike. Love your exercises.

    Mike...to let you know--again--that I use your exercises exclusively after long time searches for coaches and routines that suited me. I absolutely enjoyed this new hip exercise routine. It's much more effective than the seated ones which I also do. Please continue to send your "specials," especially those with packaged routines: one for sitting and one for standing. They add so much variety and save me the time of deciding what I'm going to do next. Please keep up your caring and thorough work!

    Thank you for these exercises! Last year I had a fall, twisted my pelvis, I've been doing regular strengthening glutes exercises since. 2 days of doing this routine & feeling better. Keeping these going. Thank you again.

    G'day Mike. I feel like you made this video just for me (and the thousands of other seniors who follow you)! As you know, I have been doing the seated hip routine several times per week and now, I can mix it up with this standing hip routine. Today was my first time doing it and I can feel the burn!     Thank you sooooo very much for this video! I am a young 64 yo who suffers from daily hip pain and after doing these exercises along with you I can feel a tinge of relief!     I’m a 68 year old male and new subscriber… I have been having trouble getting out of the car, and walking. Everything seems to have tightened up, takes a long time before I can walk normally. I am hoping that these help. It’s funny because I put in about 10,000 steps at work daily. Just getting out of car makes me feel like I am 100 years old!

    It’s morning here so I have followed my usual routine of taking the dog for a walk - although this morning it was freezing cold with a wind from the North - then coming back and doing some warm-up and stretching exercises before shower and breakfast. Did the new hip exercise today. As you say the leg that’s not working seems to feel it even more. So all good. Apart from the exercises I enjoy the plants and following their progress -one of them in particular seems to have grown enormously!

    Good morning Mike, Good exercise . Like the idea of both sitting and standing being available, my choice on strength of knees at the time of exercise. Also like your 20min exercises. Great variety to choose from on most days. 👍

    most exercise videos for hip and back pain is laying down on the floor,
    I CAN NOT GET ON OR OFF THE FLOOR.... it is so frustrating,
    I'm not old just in pain and getting on the floor is painful BUT getting up is excruciating.
    your video was perfect for me,

    I am not a senior at all but have chronic pain. It is hard to find actual beginner strength videos that are not really hard.

    What I especially like about your videos is you do each exercise with us. Many doing videos demonstrate how to do the videos but they demonstrate how to do it only time. This is not sufficient.. Keep you the good work.😀

    Thank you, thank you , thank you, this video was just what we needed. My husband broke both his feet and didn't care having me tell him to do his rehab exercises. This was easy for us to follow along , we both enjoyed it and no more nagging.

    I am in a lot of lower back pain...😏😟😫 .With bad ankles ...one with SURGERY (13 large screws and 2 plates )
    Find it difficult to make it to all the exercises ...as for getting down on the floor is no go for me 😱🤣🤣😔😔
    I cannot get down or up due to my Hip andlower. ask injury 😢😟😔
    Please HELP ME MIKE 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️ WOULD BE EVER SO GRATEFUL 🙏🏻🙏🏻

    Hello Mike from a fan in Canada! Been enjoying your selection of videos since March. Tossing out an idea for a three part video. The first part would be a warm up video followed by two of your more popular videos. During the editing of this three part video you could overlay a 1, 2 and 3 in the corner so your viewers would know what stage they are at. The benefit for your viewers would be that it would incorporate a warm up and then automatically going on to two more exercise routines. Just a thought. Regards, Graham.

    Recovering from broken femur hip exercises are just great. Any other exercises to aid recovery would be much appreciated🙏🏼

    Excellent NEW hip exercises. I have been doing the SEATED HIP exercises now for a while, which I also like. However, it is twice as long, as I still have a bit of trouble getting my left foot onto the opposite thigh because of arthritic stiffness. I still did it, because it got easier as I went on with it, and I felt good after doing it. Now, the question is, do I have to do both these exercises to get good results, or does this one replace the other. With this new standing one, I do feel my muscles twitching and working a lot more (no pain though) - around the hip and up to my waistline. Hope I am doing this right?

    Mike, thank you so much for your videos. I love them! One question: I have a bit of osteoarthritic pain on my right hip. Can I still do this specific video? I have been doing the exercises in spite of a bit of discomfort. I started 3 days ago and I have already noticed some improvement. THANK YOU AGAIN.

      Hey Lia. Great to hear you're liking the videos.. If you're feeling improvement that's a good guide. . Some discomfort is ok, and expected. It should improve as time goes on. However, make sure to never push into any pain and that you're not over doing it. Balance the exercises with rest and recovery! 🙂

    Great stretch exercises! I am a 68 yr. old female with osteoarthritis in my neck, hips, knees, spine and feet. While I'm doing the stretches it is very painful. My Dad was a PT and always told me if it hurts stop doing it. What are thoughts on this? Thank u so much

    Hi Mike, thanks for another great video. I find that when I did the first 2 exercises that I was unable to stand straight but instead had to lean into the chair in order to keep my balance. Is that okay? I find I do not have good balance and have this same problem on other exercises. Thank you

      That's ok Varini! Stay consistent with the exercises and make a conscious effort to stand as straight as possible, as you get stronger it will all get much easier! Keep up the great work! 🙂

      Hey Paulette, Do you mean the inner thigh/adductor stretch? You can do this holding on to the chair.

    Hi during the standing leg raises you say Squeeze the Muscles in the front of the leg you mean the leg and the thigh or squeeze just the leg
