I sold my dads 1985 porsche 944 with 35k miles on it. I did get some bad comments like a person saying miles werent real or a person claiming tach didnt work. I just shot bideo of the tach and i already had a carfax report. It sold for less than other 944 had sold for with more miles. My only complaint is i submitted the car for sale in june and it took until september for the car to list. I think if it had listed in the summer i wouldve gotten a higher price

the seller needs to be protected. The peanutgallery is good in many ways, but also bad. Many folks with no buying intention destroy folk's auctions even if some of the comments are wrong. Reserves are good from a seller's POV, bad from a buyer's POV. BAT early days, 8 cars on a Wednesday, the mystery, the kudos....now it's just another ebay.

How do ppl usu pay for the purchases? I can't imagine showing up to meet a stranger with tens of thousands of dollars in cash. Just wondering how the cars are paid for safely???

Certified check, wire, or bank to bank transfer.

@@FocusedGarage If you wire money to them, what kind of protection do you get the the seller doesn't just run with your money?
