Change the mounting bracket to one that’s all solid and not bolted together like that you can find it on Amazon as well the bolted ones will shift and just plain suck

What do you mean? To the actual bottom of the pack? It all fits together relatively tight with all the lock washers n such not a lot of wiggle room

Replace the hardware with H/D latches and locks....and it works just fine...

my buddies and i have used 4 or 5 of these. i change over to the harley latch and put a plate in the bottome. we have used old stop signs cut down or even 1/4 inch MDF. these are good units and a huge savings
