Yes there is a negative attitude towards China. But I wouldn't put too much weight on it if it's coming from US/CAN. Although I think highly of China and proud of my Han ethnicity, Americans are just as critical of their own government and towards fellow citizens in any online forum. The more hate you see cements your status as an emerging superpower. The USA still is most hated and loved globally. Plus our media promotes hate and division. From an early age we are taught to hate communism and socialism. To insult someone, you just have to label them a socialist. Our media is way ahead of the curve on brainwashing. China is far behind on brainwashing techniques.
