During my mom and dad's second day in Chongqing, I took them to see the light rail (believe me, it's more interesting than it sounds) and then onto Ciqikou (even though I kept pronouncing it Ci-Xi-Kou) so that Bobu could sample all the food on offer.

I finished my 4 years undergrad in Chongqing. I don't really like it when I got there at first, but now it means so much to me. I never get used to the spicy food, though.
This video remind me of the memory that i took my grandparents visit Chongqing before I left there. We eat street snacks and visit the Liziba Subway station. My parents are exactly like Bob and Meimei waiting for the train to come and take video by their phone. And I was like, be prepared it's coming!

We r quite direct or wild sometime. But this typical culture can impact people to become simpler or more real. That type of feeling do need time to realize until really in that culture
I never got used to their level of spicy either. However, my tolerance for spicy went way up after just 4 days in Chongqing. Now the “flaming hot” Pringle’s and Doritos are nothing to me. I think they are not hot enough lol.

我在重庆上了四年学，她是我最爱的城市。我还记得毕业时，高中最好的两个闺蜜来重庆找我玩，我们在磁器口里面住了一夜，就是宝轮寺对面的青旅。永远忘不了朝天门码头的浪和嘉陵江的江枫渔火。永远爱重庆火锅以及其他无数美食。现在一个人在法国，夜里看到这个视频，好想哭。

小時候認識了幾個損友教我白吃白喝，先去超市試吃獨立用兜裝的食物，之後留下兜去把其他試吃的食物放兜裡面，然後去連鎖餐廳像大家樂那些服務臺說要杯熱茶和加飯，他們就給你一碗白飯和茶葉茶，這就解決了下午茶問題

I love your parents so much! They are so cute, lovely and good-tempered. But I still don't think it's a good idea to visit Chongqing during summertime, especially for elderly people, and Britons who are get used to mild summer temperatures( I miss that kind of feeling in Cotswold). I had once been in Chongqing for 4 years during college studying and I'm well aware of what it looks like to walk in the summer sun. And the food, I'm afaid, is also too hot and spicy for most foreigners. I'm now in Suzhou, quite different from Chongqing and I just love it. Hope your parents have a chance to visit Suzhou someday, and I'd love to be a guide for them, showing them around different from what shown in your another video. Best regards to you all in this festive season!
