This video is a "keeper" because in one showing it properly describes the products that are best to use, and all one has to see, to prove it, is your car. A shinning example of perfection! Thanks.
I've used red thunder before. Good product but super clean surpasses it and I've never had an issue with super clean on any surface. Never have I ever even heard of super clean compromise any surfaces. I agree with not changing a product if it works, but sometimes it makes sense.. Super clean is about 5 bucks cheaper, you can dilute it far more and still have superior results! Saving you time and money. Just my thoughts! Much love from PA!
Found your channel recently and glad I did. Great videos, really good information on products and I appreciate how you don't just use one brand and push it on people.
I couldn't agree with you more when it comes to the Griot's Griot's products . The fast correction cream brings it almost up to a complete perfect polish itself. in many cases I almost went straight to the sealant thinking it already had been polished. To me these four bottles is about all you need for the most part. I do have a couple microfiber cutting pads with sonax cut Max for a few rough cars. so far there hasn't been a car that I have tempted that I could not do. Between the Griot's products and sonax. Thanks for taking the time
yes the sonax polishes are good but very expensive for most to buy and same with me i rarely need it or the 3M perfectit stuff unless it is a big non auto project for my other business. Griots did a great job on their BOSS system and using it with various force driven machines really makes them even more effective
I’m glad you mentioned a glass cleaner. I have the CG glass cleaner and it leaves a ton of streaks. Water is better. I’ll try the Mastersons. (I do use the glass towel you recommend)
Appreciate the video dude I own many late model and vintage Mustangs and only use the best detailing products but a bad injury had kept me out of the loop for 2-3 years on products like these as knew nothing about Chemical Guys or Masterson's and your detailed explanation was dead on great so I will check out some of your other video's. Have to learn more of these waterless wash and waxes though
Thanks for the Makita 5000c review I just ordered one. Now researching the endless finish car chemicals available. Wow so many now! Back in the '70s I became a real fan of Meguires Mirror Glaze cleaners w/ #7 showcar glaze then a good wax or polymer sealant. Also Malco has some good stuff & has been around a long time. Thanks
May I ask why you want to dye your wheel cleaner. Leave it clear or whatever its natural colour is. Honestly I don't think anyone will care what colour it is as long as it works great.
Honestly with all the information you have gathered over the years you should make an auto fanatic product for everything so we know were using the best of the best
thats the plan as i build the brand, i never had any intentions of doing this until i saw the feedback of my channel over the past 9 months, a channel created for fun has not turned into another business venture so this is fun and thanks for coming along for the ride
Auto Fanatic I have a 2018 Mercedes c300 coupe in black that my dad bought me 3weeks ago for my 16th birthday. I wanted to wash it but I was scared because I didn’t want to scratch my brand new paint, but your videos have given me a lot of confidence because you have 25 years of experience and the other youtubers have like terrible comments on their videos. So with this video I ordered everything and I’m ready to wash next week 😃😁😁
Great video I’ve just finish waxing my pearl white wrx sti with collinite 915 What an amazing product the pear pops What I found if you apply thin coats and the temperature is cool Very easy to remove
Hello! I do have a question for you. I do own the Julia TI Sport with a red interior and I would like to know what should be the right product to clean the seats? I do now want something that would add a glossy shine cause the seats are red but not glossy at all. Thanks you in advance.
Thanks for the very helpful and informative video. Was wondering if you have found any waxes..detailers that work particularly good on silver metallic. Have a cadillac cts with their Radiant Silver color. Any info...opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks again for all the vids.
Ever used or heard of Zaino products? Used there z-2 pro with zfx on my 04 rio yellow s2000 and the paint looked brand new after 11years. Had over 10 layers on her.
Hey I noticed in the first seconds you had Collinite 476 there. Any reason why you didn't talk about it? I'm curious since I was really considering it for my base LSP
do you use the gliptone to remove small scratches from chrome like back of side mirror or grill? If not how do you remove those scratches from Chrome? Thanks
any wax or sealant or coating should minimize the effort, the trick is the system is so easy youll be doing your wheels most often and never letting them get filthy again over the dread of spending hours using the conventional way
Auto Fanatic I agree 100%. Why wouldn't I just clean the wheels all the time. It's so easy with your system. I already have the sprayer, just waiting to be one of the first 500. 😁
just some stainless quick connects i got off Amazon, i am using the Kranzle 1322 now and works outstanding, il discuss more on the equipment in that video soon
HI MR. FANATIC. MY DETAILER USES THE LIQUID CRYSTAL SPRAY. HE SAYS AFTER THE PAINT IS DECANTANIMATED/THAT THE SHINE + PAINT PROT. + WATER BEADING IS BETTER THAN ANY CARN. WAX..WHATS YOUR TAKE ON THIS?
Hello again, watched through this a 2nd time and have another question.. You say you apply the paste wax 6x a year.. When you do, do you paint correct each time? If not, do you just wash and clay and polish 1x a year?
Auto Fanatic alright, I'm sold. I'm gonna buy some 915 next. Please don't judge me, but I still have 4 cans of turtle wax ICE paste wax to work through. It was 3 bucks per can on sale and it got good reviews on Amazon. The collinite will definitely be next on my list.
it does not stain but i would not recommend applying to rubber or plastic the CG V07 is much better suited for such. the BOS Wax is great after a wash for some quick added shine and actual protection and water beading.
for that you can go as strong as 50-50 but the longer you let it sit the more aggressive it will be but this stuff is not as strong and harsh as other all purpose cleaners which is why i still continue to use it 25years later
I use a Master Blaster to air dry my car. Is there any benefit of putting a little V07 in my foam cannon during the washing process to help with the air drying after the wash is done?
Where do you get those white pump tops with the black tips from for the gallon bottles? I'd like to get some of those, they look like precision pumps. Thanks
Disregard message above, I saw you have the link above. Thanks again for great videos and detailing expertise to us weekend enthusiast out here! Much appreciated.
AF, I ordered these vacuum caps. They do not fit the pump dispensers. Also, can the Collinite be used over our 350 vinyl stripes without hazing? thanks
I have a question. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and obviously it gets extremely hot out and I leave my car outside while I'm at work. Is Collinite 915 the best way to go as far as protection? Because I know carnuba melts at a certain temperature so I was wondering if this product would melt as well.
i try to stay away from any of those because they seem to get sucked into the cabin air filters and make the car smell funky over time i learned. best bet is to use a good interior cleaner or detailer and keep the car clean. You should try my 007 Gloss Enhancer product you can dilute for interiors and it has a very pleasant scent that everyone enjoys.
Can you give me a hint on how this might be done. I’d like to make it look like the nice finish on the new Airstream’s. I’m sure this is what. Many others want also. What’s your comment on Permanon. Thanks for getting back to me
AF, bought a gallon of VO7 as per your recommendation. I like it as a drying aid and sealant. Matt at Obsessed G showed Bead Maker which looks very very similar to VO7 product, application and results of the VO7. Do you have any intention of doing a side-by-side comparison of the 2?
I have my own product I have developed that will best all of those others.I am no longer using the V07 and Il explain why in a video soon. I should be showing you guys soon the new product once the packaging shows up at my shop. I have info on my site if you haven't seen yet.
I am working on a specific hand polish now, should be avail end of this summer but for now check out some of the hand polishes Griots sells, i hear decent feedback on those.
Auto Fanatic OK, great. Thank you! Also, have you ever tried Adam's glass cleaner? I'm not a ridiculous Adam's fan boy but it seems to work very well for me.
just a few which i already have. took 9 months to finish the development of my other items it was torture waiting to see if they would best these others.
I also have an Airstream. 1959. Globster. I want a Matt beautiful finish on the polished aluminum in the inside. Any thoughts on how to obtain a nice either brushed finish or Matt?
Why haven’t you done reviews on Adam polishes ? I mean I’ve only seen the one for the wheel cleaner but I haven’t seen you do some for the rest , will you do them eventually ?
i have reviewed many of their products and tried almost everything they offered over the last 12 years. i am not using anything they offer now they keep changing things up too often which frustrates me.
Great video! Do you use a quick detailer everytime you wash? I feel like I'm always left with water spots after drying so I use a quick detailer to remove them.
FYI use the Collinite 915 and youll never get water spots and the drying process is 75% easier. I sometimes blow dry the car fully in warmer months and do not use a drying aid during those times. I change it up time to time
i tried them was not impressed as much as the Griots Boss system, using the BOSS system with all my machines makes them even more effective than using them with a conventional DA.
the only things that changed are i am no longer using any CG products and replaced with my Auto Fanatic 007 and the Auto Fanatic Wheel Cleaner and Secret Weapon, visit my web site to learn more, auto-fanatic.com
Question..... I went to your website and can't find where to enter my email to get on the mailing list. I put it in on the sign in spot and clicked the "sign in" but...... HELP! LOL
not everything they make is poor and some of there newer stuff is decent but i also think other companies produce better products. Il have an updated video for 2020 as all of these products have now changed since i launched my own product line last year
not the ones i use regularly, you should try them as i use them youll see how effective they really are, i do not like buying rom CG personally and plan to eventually evolve into my own line of soaps etc soon enough
AF have you tried the foam/drying aid from Griots with their Foam Cannon. It allows the bottle to screw and no mixing required. I used their new Foam today and really liked it. Really sticks to the paint. Has a great smell too. Just curious. Maybe you can evaluate it. Love your videos.
i may tempt ,myself to spend more money to try it one day soon, but i would like to test it and raffle it off to a supporter of the channel as i have way to much stuff laying around over here.
Auto Fanatic I understand. Bought mine with a 20 percent off coupon from them. Also bought drying foam also. Been using their spray wax to dry. The foam worked well. Spray it on and let it set 2 minutes.
I tend to stay far away from carnuba products. It never wipes off easily, the protection of it is inferior to synthetic sealants and it burns off easily.
Chemical guys has a few decent products but I did kind of find it funny that you mentioned "No BS crazy marketing." Chemical Guys marketing is probably the absolute worst in the entire detailing world.
FYI i have been doing this way longer than you and most and i only use very few CG products, they work, their easy to get and i know how to maximize them for my needs.
Mr fanatic. I've been selling Permanon nano products and I love the stuff. I have companies that only use my product on their limos. It's easy to use and it works on a miracle basis. The tiny little nanos want to find a home. They are blessed with a positive charge so they work immediately. Yes I like your videos. But jealous because can't find a GT 350. I also like Sonax but that's like your other products. Not permanon. It's in a class of its own. If you have the slightest interest or are open let me now. My name is richard
the purple pigment was causing issues with the formula and through testing the color was getting darker and darker and looked nasty so it had to be scrapped.

Found your channel recently and glad I did. Great videos, really good information on products and I appreciate how you don't just use one brand and push it on people.
Thx soo much! Very generous of you to to share your favorite tried-and-true trusted products!

what do you use to clean/protect the alcantara seat inserts and wheel on the 350?

May I ask why you want to dye your wheel cleaner. Leave it clear or whatever its natural colour is. Honestly I don't think anyone will care what colour it is as long as it works great.
Personally I think it's nice to have different color for different products. I wouldn't expect a wheel cleaner to be transparent but that's just me.
Auto Fanatic
I guess we're fortunate to have come across your channel!
And hey...thanks again!!!
Auto Fanatic having fun and making money at the same time. What else would you want lol
Thank you for passing on your knowledge, much appreciated.
Where did you get the plastic pumps and rubber tips from? And if 1 pump = 1 oz?
They sell the novus plastic polish (step 3/2/1) at the container store if you need it in a pinch. The #1 is just an anti fog/protectant.
great suggestions thanks for posting that as a source to buy it, stuff works great been using it since the early 90's
Yess I've been waiting for this day 😃
Great video I’ve just finish waxing my pearl white wrx sti with collinite 915
What an amazing product the pear pops
What I found if you apply thin coats and the temperature is cool
Very easy to remove
glad you took my advice on the 915 it is truly amazing, wait til you see how much easier our washes will become now
Can you guys recommend a gallon of interior carpet cleaner that I can dilute and put in a spray bottle?

Awesome video thanks for sharing the chemicals you use and giving us a professional opinion and helping us newbies learn the tricks off the trade‼️👍🏽
Ever used or heard of Zaino products? Used there z-2 pro with zfx on my 04 rio yellow s2000 and the paint looked brand new after 11years. Had over 10 layers on her.
Great video as always AF. Cant wait for that wheel cleaner.
Amazing video. What color foam pad do you recommend with each boss cream bottle you mentioned?
depends on the surface i use them all but mostly the microfiber, white and yellow foams for most jobs
Waiting for the wheel cleaner, when is it on the market and will it be available in a gallon?
What brand micofiber you prefer as well as yellow and white foam pads? CG HEXLOGICS?
Hey I noticed in the first seconds you had Collinite 476 there. Any reason why you didn't talk about it? I'm curious since I was really considering it for my base LSP
Thanks for sharing. Bead Maker is also pretty good. Works in both exterior/interior..
do you use the gliptone to remove small scratches from chrome like back of side mirror or grill? If not how do you remove those scratches from Chrome? Thanks
You said if the wheels are protected it will be touchless. Is that protection ceramic coating? Wax or sealant, if so what kind.
What do you recommend for waxing and getting a high gloss shine for a white vehicle ( 2016 Subaru Outback ) ?
Can you do a updated video of what you use currently?
Hi Nick most of what I use i show regularly on IG and newer videos primarily all of the Auto Fanatic product line we developed.
What type of wheel protection should be applied in order to have your wheel cleaner work with minimal hands on?
any wax or sealant or coating should minimize the effort, the trick is the system is so easy youll be doing your wheels most often and never letting them get filthy again over the dread of spending hours using the conventional way
Auto Fanatic I agree 100%. Why wouldn't I just clean the wheels all the time. It's so easy with your system. I already have the sprayer, just waiting to be one of the first 500. 😁
Was wondering what connects you have on your MTM gun I’m going to rock the same setup
just some stainless quick connects i got off Amazon, i am using the Kranzle 1322 now and works outstanding, il discuss more on the equipment in that video soon
Just out of curiosity do you use a sealant other than the boss finishing sealant to pair with the collinite?
HI MR.
If not, do you just wash and clay and polish 1x a year?
i rarely clay the 915 does not let stuff stick, i just wash well and apply easily.
Have you tried the Griot's Best of Show detailer? If so, still recommend the CG V7 over the Griot?
the Griot's best of show spray wax, can you apply to rubber and plastics without staining ?
it does not stain but i would not recommend applying to rubber or plastic the CG V07 is much better suited for such. the BOS Wax is great after a wash for some quick added shine and actual protection and water beading.
For Malco Red Thunder, what dilution ratio do you use to strip the wax/sealants from your car before paint correction? Thank you.
for that you can go as strong as 50-50 but the longer you let it sit the more aggressive it will be but this stuff is not as strong and harsh as other all purpose cleaners which is why i still continue to use it 25years later
@@autofanaticcars thank you
Website is not secure and at a high risk of compromise? Any fix for this coming so orders can be made safely
all fixed we updated the servers earlier, good to go, also there is a 20% off code BLOWOUT20 very limited stock is left
Another great vid, can't wait to buy that new wheel cleaner!
It would be interesting to see how your Must Haves has changed over the past year.
the Auto Fanatic products have replaced many shown in this video primarily.
Thanks a lot very helpful can't wait till the foam comes out

thanks for watching the videos Joe, glad they helped some. AF
V07 can work as drying aid? Will not feel grabby on the pfm towel?
i no longer use it since we finished the 007 and released it, way better product in all areas.
AF, I ordered these vacuum caps. They do not fit the pump dispensers. Also, can the Collinite be used over our 350 vinyl stripes without hazing? thanks
wax over stripes, caps fit if they are 1/4 inch just push them on they stretch
I have a question. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and obviously it gets extremely hot out and I leave my car outside while I'm at work. Is Collinite 915 the best way to go as far as protection? Because I know carnuba melts at a certain temperature so I was wondering if this product would melt as well.
Try a sealant
Can you use the spray wax as a drying aid with the grey griots pfm drying towel.?
smudges like crazy i tried using the BOS Spray Wax several times with the car wet but it seems to work best with the car dry.
have you came across a good air freshener spray that is just like new car smell?
i try to stay away from any of those because they seem to get sucked into the cabin air filters and make the car smell funky over time i learned. best bet is to use a good interior cleaner or detailer and keep the car clean. You should try my 007 Gloss Enhancer product you can dilute for interiors and it has a very pleasant scent that everyone enjoys.
@@autofanaticcars ok, thank you! I'll try that

Instead of V07. Try meguiars “fast finish” works perfect and effortless removal.
try my 007 and game over, watch the video on my channel
thanks for the great video! helped alot.
Glad to hear it!
Hello, what do you recommend for hand polishing? Just graduated college and got a job so I'm not in a good place to buy a da polisher at the moment.
I noticed you don’t have any Adams polishes, I know you weren’t big on their wheel cleaner but wasn’t sure about the rest of the product line?
Are you combining a sprayer with your wheel cleaner?
yes the Ik9 will be paired and a few other higher end foamers will be offered on my site
I have Chemical Guys pumps. Do they sell the caps for them also?
no i listed a link for the caps i use for the pumps, you need them otherwise youll make a mess.
How much products would you eliminate since the introduction of the 007 and Secret Weapon?
just a few which i already have. took 9 months to finish the development of my other items it was torture waiting to see if they would best these others.
I also have an Airstream. 1959. Globster. I want a Matt beautiful finish on the polished aluminum in the inside. Any thoughts on how to obtain a nice either brushed finish or Matt?
if you are local i can do that for you no problem i do architectural metal finishing through my other business.
Thanks but I am in lake forest I’ll I’m happy to know that it is possible
I have cars shipped to me from all over the USA for special custom work, if you want to talk email me direct I just finished a Ferrari from Peoria IL.
Auto fanatic what about the masterson mystic foam?
When is the 2020 one coming out
watch my 2020 black friday video
Have you tried Adams polishes products?

i have reviewed many of their products and tried almost everything they offered over the last 12 years. i am not using anything they offer now they keep changing things up too often which frustrates me.
Thank you for the information brother
Post the mustang gt cut and polish please !!
As of 8/22, the 3m clay on Amazon is $30. Is this the same one?
yes grab it before price goes higher
Hey AF, do you dilute V07 50/50 as a drying aid too? (You mentioned you dilute as an interior detailer)
only when i am running low but you can use it straight as i usually do. I will do a video on how i use this to dry a car soon.
Thanks. Great vid as always
Great video. May I ask what pumps you buy for the bottles? Thank you
what do you use for your tires?
G6 Hypercoat
Been waiting for this
what do you think of adams stuff
I don’t know if it happens to you, but when I use the pumps with shampoo it leaks after
you need the caps like i show you
Auto Fanatic thanks!
Great video! Do you use a quick detailer everytime you wash? I feel like I'm always left with water spots after drying so I use a quick detailer to remove them.

What’s ur opinion on chemical guys v32 through38 polish liquids?
i tried them was not impressed as much as the Griots Boss system, using the BOSS system with all my machines makes them even more effective than using them with a conventional DA.
Auto Fanatic which products do u recommend for removing scratches, water spots and swir marks? Also, protection paint from direct sunlight?
get the Boss G15 kit and a can of Collinite 915, Done!
Auto Fanatic thanks!
Auto Fanatic where can I get it?
Love it can't wait for more vids
U mention towels but towels never got brought up
thats a diff video this is just consumable liquids.
Great video, any idea if those pumps on Amazon fit the half gallon sizes of the chemical guys Soaps and V07?
you need to cut the clear tube down quite a bit but they fit if you do so, i tried them already on the half a gallon
Good info bud.
Would love to see a revision to this vid for 2019
the only things that changed are i am no longer using any CG products and replaced with my Auto Fanatic 007 and the Auto Fanatic Wheel Cleaner and Secret Weapon, visit my web site to learn more, auto-fanatic.com
Try LA Awesome on your tires and wheels...
Full force no diluting works really well And its cheap!

alphabetagamma not even close to true some of there products are just okay but most of them work great
Since CG got so so many products, law of averages there’s would been a few good ones?! 😂
@No Name if you are on a budget try the gold class soap
AF have you tried the foam/drying aid from Griots with their Foam Cannon. It allows the bottle to screw and no mixing required. I used their new Foam today and really liked it.
Really sticks to the paint. Has a great smell too. Just curious. Maybe you can evaluate it. Love your videos.

I tend to stay far away from carnuba products. It never wipes off easily, the protection of it is inferior to synthetic sealants and it burns off easily.
try the 915 wax and youll be a believer
How do you get CG's coupons for use at Amazon?
Where do you get coupons for amazon? Through your email?
when i log in they appear via a checkbox under the price of the item, i spend a ton of money each month on Amazon and get them all the time.
Auto Fanatic i do also, sometimes I do run into the coupons , thanks for the info!

Chemical guys has a few decent products but I did kind of find it funny that you mentioned "No BS crazy marketing." Chemical Guys marketing is probably the absolute worst in the entire detailing world.
yeah i do agree on that but i truly ignore all of that just for a few products i actually like
Good video bud but you still have a lot to learn if Chemical Guys is still in your arsenal as a detailer.
Please have Paypal as payment option..

Nooo why changing the pink color of the wheel cleaner 😭😭. Fuck the color I want that product man 😂✌🏼 nice video Im addicted to your videos
the purple pigment was causing issues with the formula and through testing the color was getting darker and darker and looked nasty so it had to be scrapped.
