I don't think there's a good reason to do that. Everyone hears differently, so what sounds good for me won't sound good to thousands of other people. I would recommend watching the video "The TRUTH about SOUND QUALITY in headphones" on "The Headphone Show" TH-cam channel - it explains this 'problem' very well.
@@Lafret17 If I'm using it with my phone, I would knock 8KHz down by around 3-4dB, and 4KHz by around 2.5dB. That's what sounded good to me. Depending on the music, or background noise, I'd also give 63hz a 2-3dB boost.
@@GREQReviews I'm not above wearing pink but I prefer my iems a little more understated, that's why I think the original moondrop aria is the most beautiful iem ever (the truthear hexa is also up there).
@@nekrozclockwork Having owned over 450 headphones and IEMs, I'm SO bored of the same old greys, blacks and shiny metals... but I do appreciate why those muted styles are so popular/common. There is actually a boring metal version of the QT-X available! So at least Rose Technics is aware of this.
Could you share your EQ settings for making these sound better? I'm curious about the bass boost/treble reduction you did

Most people who's in this hobby already have multiple dongles..they could've sell it cheaper without the dongle.
They already do.
@@iridescentgherkin that's good
Everything in this seems like it's too much for me, the looks, the nozzle length, the treble, the price...
Oooh come on, the looks is the best part! 😜
