For anyone who may be curious: DLNA is a media distribution standard used by software solutions like Plex. Probably means you can stream your plex-driven library to this device, which would make it sorta work like Mr. Super wished it would via bluetooth from your iphone. Don't hold me to that: I don't have the device.
DLNA is basically what you were talking about with Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth and because it's Wi-Fi it's actually better, Bluetooth only has so much bandwidth. I've got a small DLNA server in my house which I used to stream music, movies, books etc. btw, got to love that you got some Casiopeia in your library.

Tidal works fine. It gives you a QR code which takes you to an authentication page. Problem is that it asks you to reauthorize all the time. I wish there was a Home button. If it could be a BT receiver and added AutoEQ it would be absolutely amazing I think.
You need to update the firmware. It will fix that Tidal reauthorization issue and correct a glitch with resetting time settings each time you turn it on.
This pin may be there for people who don't have long fingernails and are trying to eject an SD card Injection I would like them to develop the Hiby R3 2. It is wonderful and its size is special. It may make you leave the phone even if you are at home or if you have clothes that have a chest pocket that you can put it in because it is very light and small.
This is mostly untrue. Purely dependent on the manufacturer enabling granular control. With Bootlockers being locked, it's even harder to put a custom ROM, which most people didn't do anyways.

I think the main competition to this would be the Shanling M0 pro. It's smaller but it has Bluetooth transmit and receive. Don't know about the power though.
Seeing some of my favorvite artists on the screen of the DAP gets me all hyped lmao daft punk and No Vacation specifically. What's your favorite song from No Vacation, Mark? I've yet to meet another person in the hobby that likes them and I've been obsessed with their music for a while now so it's a lonely fan club lol
@ awesome stuff. Yam Yam is one of their classics for sure. My fav is “Days”, what a lovely song. HA I tried to show my wife a life performance of theirs and she seemed to dig it. The next step is getting out to a live show of theirs, I missed my chance earlier this year but not next time
no plexamp, no apple music, no spotify etc, janky memory card transfers, poor OS genre, artist detection, no artist, genre radio. why don't these manufacturers do some research and release players with inbuilt memory of 500G or , 2 TB at 250USD with limited android music apps atleast.

900 GB is a lot of music! I dunno if this has issues with that, my library is about 4,000 songs.
I def prefer plastic or metal to glass. Or the awesome Sony Wmxx series leather back is beautiful.

Actually you can lower the volume increments on an android phone. Android doesn't dumb down the usability like Apple!

If I recall correctly, the M0 was able to drive my HD 600s OK. But the UI was sooo small.

Why built-in memory when you can use a memory card? Easier to transfer files to a card than Android's internal storage.

Yeah, it's literally the first thing I did when I turned it on...threw me for a loop not having real volume. I live around 65-70
