    Great video, only a couple of days old so looks like I have stumbled on it at the right time.
    Good explanation and to be honest you sold the product extremely well and I will likely use it when I go to soundproof my bedroom in the coming weeks.
    Thank you!

    I have recently moved into a Semi detached house. We are experiencing daily annoyance from our neighbours making a lot of noise. Their children are excessively noisy we feel as we can constantly hear them running up and down the stairs and across the house.
    However we can also hear day to day noises such as :
    - them walking up and down stairs
    - flicking switches/plug sockets (their kitchen backs onto our living room),
    - Shutting kitchen drawers & cupboards.
    - cooking equipment/plates hitting the kitchen work tops.
    All mainly impact noises. We can also hear the children shouting and baby crying however this isn’t AS loud.
    Was wondering if this type of solution would be practical against this, or are the sounds we are mainly hearing coming from the ceiling or floor?

    • @SoundproofingStore
      @SoundproofingStore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jack, Thank you for your comment. Best thing to do is give us a call so we can talk through it in more detail. But basically you need to spend a bit of time really listening to where the noise is leaking through on your side. Generally with neighbours next door we would expect the majority of the noise to be coming through your wall, but impact vibration can spread easily and may come through the ceilings and floors as well. So spend time listening and narrowing down where in YOUR property you can hear the noise eminating. We can then talk you through the best systems to use in those areas. Our website is in the video description or call us on 01423 206208.

    🎶🎶Are there new materials in 2023? Most of the videos are very old... has technology advanced in this area of soundproofing???

    • @SoundproofingStore
      @SoundproofingStore  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi @iamsun1555, the Reverso SoundMat was only launched mid 2021, so arguably not 'very old.' As of two weeks ago, we have a new product called FlexiSound 5 which is an excellent and cost-effective alternative to Tecsound:

      (The video for this is planned for later this month).

    Hi, thanks for the video, could I check if normal underlay (as per typical flooring installation) is still required on top of the reverso soundmat if installing laminate flooring on top?

    • @SoundproofingStore
      @SoundproofingStore  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Z Li, yes, that's right. The recommendation would be to install the laminate as per the installation instructions and often with laminate (as you mention) it does require an underlay.

      Hi @andym7333, it depends how thick the tiles are. For some types of tiles a thicker stabilising board might be needed. The installation guide for the Reverso SoundMat can be found here: www.soundproofingstore.co.uk/reverso-soundmat or please feel free to call us (01423) 206208.

    we live in housing association property, my above neighbour flooring really noisy when they walk . sometimes they drop objects in mad night which they wakes us and my 2years old son up from sleeping. I don’t know what shall I do

    • @SoundproofingStore
      @SoundproofingStore  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mo Noon, if your neighbour will allow access to their property, then the easiest solution would be to soundproof their floor. If no access is granted, then the other option would be to look at soundproofing your ceiling. These blogs and videos will hopefully be of help:

    Hi there, I moved to a very poorly built apartment. No insulation anywhere. Now, people in the next door apartment stomp very loudly that my floor bounces, and also the sound is loud and vey unhealthy. I look forward to move but, until I can make that happen I have to put something on my floor to avoid having to hear that stoping and not feel the bounding. I live in US Seattle, WA. I wish I could get these panels mailed here.
    Any suggestions are very very appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi, I have a semi detached, I can hear neighbours stamping in the first floor from the ground floor and first floor on my side. How about inserting your acoustic wool between the joists against the party wall? Do you have a video on that already?

    • @SoundproofingStore
      @SoundproofingStore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Iwan, the acoustic mineral wool isn't used as a soundproofing material to block sound. It is used to absorb sound in the cavity partitions of walls, floors and ceilings to reduce reverberation, prior to installing the soundproofing.
      If you want to give us a call on 01423 206208 we can discuss the noise issues you are experiencing in more detail and advise on the best solution. For soundproofing walls take a look at the ReductoClip System:

      Hi @emilyhops2566 it took one day and that was with lots of stopping and starting for filming too which always slows things down a lot. Realistically that size of room could be installed in a few of hours.

    Would this product block impact noise from a noisy neighbour below ?

    • @SoundproofingStore
      @SoundproofingStore  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi The Fotographer - So the cause of the initial noise may be an impact, but if it's below you, it's more likely that you are hearing the airborne noise of that impact travelling up to you. In which case you need to add more mass to your floor. The Reverso SoundMat is certainly a good option. The other potential problem is if the impact is banging on the walls below, in which case that could be flanking up to you via the walls not the floor. You need to spend time listening to the floor and walls to check where the sound is actually coming from. We have several floor options you can look at here - www.soundproofingstore.co.uk/floors or get in touch so we can talk in more detail about what exactly you are hearing and about the construction of your property.
