Don't forget the one where Brad (the singing drummer) gets out from behind the drums. Horse With No Name. He sings lead vocal, nails it, and plays acoustic guitar. Still want that performance added to the live show set list. #hsccfantasticfriday #hsccultimatesongreinventionband #hscccoverband
Ladies and gentlemen you could spend 1,000 years attempting to cover Supertramp as tightly as these guys and you’d still fail. Amazing talent right here.
Because Roger Hodgson & Rick Davies just couldn't get along and this was the pinnacle of their career (one more album after this and they parted ways) although you could say they sold out for commercial stardom since this album went against where they came from as far as being progressive on their previous albums. Regardless, this was a fantastic album in its own right.
@@TheBennedy85 Still love 'School' from 'Crime of the Century' & 'Sister Moonshine' from 'Crisis, What Crisis'. Truly different music on their earlier albums up until 'Even in the Quietest Moments' where they changed direction and decidedly became a little bit more pop when they released 'Breakfast in America'.
I am listening to a great cover of Supertramp. Fantastic vocals and drums Brad Polain. Great harmonica Bobby Blues, and great soprano sax Jason McMahon. Dave Ross you are awesome and not forgetting Con Delo. You all nailed this. HSCC you are all so talented. Keep up the great work and please come to the US. Jake Milic and Brenton Foster helped this cover become one of the best. Thank you for the pure enjoyment and your musical skills that you share here on TH-cam. I am so glad that I have found you.
Clever and brilliant song choice. HSCC sprinkles their gold all over this classic. Brad's (drummer extraordinaire) vocals are first class. Love the harmonica and soprano sax. Keyboards are superb as always. God Bless and power and strength to you all.
Geez, the drummer sounds like Supertramp and has the voice for America's music too, and musicians certainly know how to play... You are all awesome.. I love Fridays to hear what you're going to play for us... Cheerz and its fun watching you enjoying yourselves..
I think the Supertramp sound in the vocals comes mainly from the guy on the keyboards standing at the back. The drummer has a good voice though but the harmonica sound clinched it for me.
Here I am, on the other side of the world, delighting in the highly talented sound of HSCC. Brazilian, resident of a city in the interior of Minas Gerais, 61 years old, connoisseur and admirer of true good music, applauding once again these always wonderful guys who make HSCC better and better. THANK YOU FOR HAPPYING MY HEART!!
Yesterdays music is so superior to the trash that is passed of as music today that it makes me just wonder how can anyone even listen to it. Whenever I hear it, it makes me feel bad for the kids of today. At least they have music like this to enjoy and hopefully learn from and elevate their musical tastes. Bravo to these folks!!
My favorite Supertramp song! Memories of high school in 1979 when our football (American) team won the State championship. We played this song as we traveled to the game, I think it was an 8-track stereo in the car. Thanks for the smiles 💕
Blast from my past! I used to be a Supertramp groupy! I went to many of their concerts back in the late 70's early 80's I met them and got signed autographed pictures of the band! I still have them. Took me back to a very very wonderful time period in my young adult life before starting my family. I love Supertramp you guys nailed this one! Fantastic cover! 💯 😎❤️😀🍻
This is pure class , the drummer was in a league of his own , amazing cool voice just brilliant an stole the show , fabulous job well done I can't believe how good this is, great band I must say .
I was 18 or 19 when this song came about. Most of you were not even been born! The fact that you pick this songs to cover them gives me the greatest vibes!!❤
Me too. 8 track player in my 72 Mercury Cougar xr7, commuting to college, who knew back then that this music would be alive and well 45 years later and that I will still be listening with the same thrill as when I was 18.
OMG - "Even in the Quietest Moments" having 'Breakfast In America" in 1979 - who would think that HSCC could reel off an absolute killer song and sound so authentic. Wow.. a blast from my growing up days in Australia and we thought we were so sophisticated at 17 years of age being into Supertramp back then. A timeless and iconic song done to perfection with Brad channeling the great Roger Hodgson, Bobby Blues and Jason nailing the awesome John Helliwell harmonica and soprano sax note for note - BRAVO HSCC!!
I pray that the Australian healthcare system is robust and capable so that these guys remain happy and healthy for a good long time. We need this music!
Wow! That opening made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! Sooo good! Yet another fabulous cover. Brace yourselves, 2 billion coming soon! 👏🏻👏🏻👍
Wow.. brilliant. One of my all time favourite songs from the album breakfast in America 1979 I was 10 years old I listened to it over and over. Roger Hodgson would be impressed by this version. Not an easy task to sing and drum. Thank you. 👍👏👏👏👏
Great...it couldn't be better! 👏👌👍 This song is one of my favourites by Supertramp...that was my time...I was able to see Supertramp live twice...1977 in Munich/Olympiahalle and later again at the OpenAir in Munich/Riem!
Once again bloody superb These Ladies n Gents just get better on every song they do. Listen to them all the time while trucking in UK. Please Please come and do a concert in Birmingham Uk. .
If anyone needed convincing about the abilities of this bunch of multi talented artists from Adelaide SA putting their own coat of varnish on any song then this ones for you. Yet another example of the brilliance of HSCC on full show here 🤩
After listening to you guys for so long, this is so great. In addition to great singing and playing, I must say that a special award should go to the Guy who mixed it. Thank you again.
Again you knocked the ball out of the park. I'm a great Supertramp fan since the 1970s beginning. That was by far the best cover version I ever heard. Hold the line ... Awesome.
The man is a veritable multitalent. It's not his first lead though. He's done several. All excellent ! His kit is always so well tuned as well ! He's my favourite toghether with Mario Marino ( one of the best groove masters in my opinion - i'm a ( semi professional ) drummer myself. ) And ...you can tell from a mile away Mr Polain is such a pleasant human being !!
Hindley Street Country Club keeps on giving. This is amazing how good this song was choreographed. This is really a epic performance on how this was put together.
The Drummer! What a great voice! Has always been in the background?!?! Great singer! I am very much surprised and congratulations to him! Best regards, Henry from Berlin!
We need a 'HOLY CRAP, THIS IS FANTASTIC " button.
😂👍 Holly crap this is fantastic idea
Man you said it. I don't think I've ever heard a bad cover come from these beautiful musicians.
Super version of a Supertramp classic 💥
Logged in early today and found a classic song from my teens. Incredible Harmonica and a singing drummer. How good is this !!!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed. Singing drummers rule, absolutely!!🥰
You know it's going to be great when the drummer is singing lead vocals.
Yes, Brad is brilliant. He sings Phil Collins well, too.
Don't forget the one where Brad (the singing drummer) gets out from behind the drums.
Horse With No Name. He sings lead vocal, nails it, and plays acoustic guitar.
Still want that performance added to the live show set list.

The guy doing the backing vocal is excellent. And the harmonica. And everybody. Keep making music please.
Agreed. Everyone in and associated with this band seems top notch.

Perfect! Bravo!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Why do we not have music like this anymore!! we must cherish it!
Because Hollywood has turned Satanic.
