Don't forget the one where Brad (the singing drummer) gets out from behind the drums. Horse With No Name. He sings lead vocal, nails it, and plays acoustic guitar. Still want that performance added to the live show set list. #hsccfantasticfriday #hsccultimatesongreinventionband #hscccoverband
Good to be back in the late 70s and early 80s, your music, the memories. the clothes... so many memories. Supertramp is a super band that brought us great songs. Regards from Brazil.
Just got into these videos over Christmas I’m hooked Boy you guys are the real deal love my music and blown away how authentic you guys are New Year’s Day hscc binge feast coming up Top job guys can’t wait to share with my music loving friends Many thanks from a wet east of England
I am listening to a great cover of Supertramp. Fantastic vocals and drums Brad Polain. Great harmonica Bobby Blues, and great soprano sax Jason McMahon. Dave Ross you are awesome and not forgetting Con Delo. You all nailed this. HSCC you are all so talented. Keep up the great work and please come to the US. Jake Milic and Brenton Foster helped this cover become one of the best. Thank you for the pure enjoyment and your musical skills that you share here on TH-cam. I am so glad that I have found you.
Ladies and gentlemen you could spend 1,000 years attempting to cover Supertramp as tightly as these guys and you’d still fail. Amazing talent right here.
Absolutely awesome cover of a song that has a place in just about any playlist of someone that grew up in the 80's. When people ask for road trip songs, this is the first one I recommend.
Constantine!!! No wonder you were absolutely beaming during this performance. What an outstanding recording. The sound was so exciting, I stopped the TV and transferred the audio to my sound system and started again - loud. This was so good I logged into all my other Google accounts so I could give it more "Likes". Blown away!
Clever and brilliant song choice. HSCC sprinkles their gold all over this classic. Brad's (drummer extraordinaire) vocals are first class. Love the harmonica and soprano sax. Keyboards are superb as always. God Bless and power and strength to you all.
After listening to you guys for so long, this is so great. In addition to great singing and playing, I must say that a special award should go to the Guy who mixed it. Thank you again.
It took me a long way to HSCC, but now I'm here. Never listened to a Supertramp song for a very, very long time (one of my favourite bands back in the 70s) and I'm glad about the cover of HSCC that showed me what I liked to hear when I was young. It's so close to the original, it's fantastic, absolutely fantastic.
Geez, the drummer sounds like Supertramp and has the voice for America's music too, and musicians certainly know how to play... You are all awesome.. I love Fridays to hear what you're going to play for us... Cheerz and its fun watching you enjoying yourselves..
I think the Supertramp sound in the vocals comes mainly from the guy on the keyboards standing at the back. The drummer has a good voice though but the harmonica sound clinched it for me.
Wow! That opening made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! Sooo good! Yet another fabulous cover. Brace yourselves, 2 billion coming soon! 👏🏻👏🏻👍
Here I am, on the other side of the world, delighting in the highly talented sound of HSCC. Brazilian, resident of a city in the interior of Minas Gerais, 61 years old, connoisseur and admirer of true good music, applauding once again these always wonderful guys who make HSCC better and better. THANK YOU FOR HAPPYING MY HEART!!
I pray that the Australian healthcare system is robust and capable so that these guys remain happy and healthy for a good long time. We need this music!
This is pure class , the drummer was in a league of his own , amazing cool voice just brilliant an stole the show , fabulous job well done I can't believe how good this is, great band I must say .
My favorite Supertramp song! Memories of high school in 1979 when our football (American) team won the State championship. We played this song as we traveled to the game, I think it was an 8-track stereo in the car. Thanks for the smiles 💕
Hindley Street Country Club keeps on giving. This is amazing how good this song was choreographed. This is really a epic performance on how this was put together.
OMG - "Even in the Quietest Moments" having 'Breakfast In America" in 1979 - who would think that HSCC could reel off an absolute killer song and sound so authentic. Wow.. a blast from my growing up days in Australia and we thought we were so sophisticated at 17 years of age being into Supertramp back then. A timeless and iconic song done to perfection with Brad channeling the great Roger Hodgson, Bobby Blues and Jason nailing the awesome John Helliwell harmonica and soprano sax note for note - BRAVO HSCC!!
Yesterdays music is so superior to the trash that is passed of as music today that it makes me just wonder how can anyone even listen to it. Whenever I hear it, it makes me feel bad for the kids of today. At least they have music like this to enjoy and hopefully learn from and elevate their musical tastes. Bravo to these folks!!
If anyone needed convincing about the abilities of this bunch of multi talented artists from Adelaide SA putting their own coat of varnish on any song then this ones for you. Yet another example of the brilliance of HSCC on full show here 🤩
The man is a veritable multitalent. It's not his first lead though. He's done several. All excellent ! His kit is always so well tuned as well ! He's my favourite toghether with Mario Marino ( one of the best groove masters in my opinion - i'm a ( semi professional ) drummer myself. ) And ...you can tell from a mile away Mr Polain is such a pleasant human being !!
This really does show the diversity & versatility of this fantastic band. Supertramp is one of my all time favourite groups and you guys really did them proud. The vocals/harmonies at the end was something very special.
Excellent performance! I've seen Supertramp and Roger Hodgson several times and lucky enough to meet him, and have to say he'd like the job you did on this song!
I was 18 or 19 when this song came about. Most of you were not even been born! The fact that you pick this songs to cover them gives me the greatest vibes!!❤
Me too. 8 track player in my 72 Mercury Cougar xr7, commuting to college, who knew back then that this music would be alive and well 45 years later and that I will still be listening with the same thrill as when I was 18.
This HSCC drummist is something of a dark horse - calmly layin' down solid backing beats to most of the band's weekly wonders - then he springs a surprise on us all - he can sing too..! Roger H would be proud of this version - and all the harmonies are pretty good too...
Wow 😮 learning this on the harmonica………. Very inspirational Fabulous performance all round, vocals spot, drumming excellent as was the whole performance, so happy I found this on TH-cam
These guys are the world’s best cover band. End of. Been following since about 5k subs! What a journey! With all the crap going on in the world, there’s always the HSCC and their incredible sound to get us through.
Played in solid bands for 30 years. When this was posted yesterday, my first thought before hitting play was - OH NO! NOBODY in their right mind would dare take on the vocals of Roger Hodgson! You can quote my thoughts as, "This will be HSCC's first epic fail". Egg on my face. Blown away! I'm astonished at most every little detail being pulled from the original "Breakfast in America" tracks! An awe inspiring version HSCC! Thank you! Now about your drummer...
As I often do, I re-listen to most of your videos several times always detecting something I previously missed and I must commend Brenton Foster on his SPOT ON back vocals as well as his great keyboard playing as usual. Don't know why I hadn't included Brenton in my ''gang of favorites'' but you sir are now part of my faves !!!
I didn´t know this song before this, but i´ve been listening it several times and as always, you just delivered something very authentic and real for us.. All the credits to all of you, vocals, playing, mixin they all are in the level you a come across very rarely... Thank you for doing these videos for us, i would come to see you live if it would be possible.. maybe someday..
Class class class. Love the Harmonica. Have just come back from Blues in Broadbeach and the music was fantastic. HSCC I would love if you did some blues stuff. The "dirty gritty" Memphis style. Maybe you have done that before and I missed it. As per Sting. "Every thing you do is magic."
Great cover. “Breakfast in America” was one of my favourite albums in my late teens. Supertramp were vastly underrated but great to see their music being kept alive for today’s audience.
Love waking up on a Friday to see what HSCC have done next. This was such a gift this morning. Cheered up a grey rainy morning! You need to do Glastonbury !

Logged in early today and found a classic song from my teens. Incredible Harmonica and a singing drummer. How good is this !!!!!!!!!!!!
Indeed. Singing drummers rule, absolutely!!🥰
You know it's going to be great when the drummer is singing lead vocals.
Yes, Brad is brilliant. He sings Phil Collins well, too.
Don't forget the one where Brad (the singing drummer) gets out from behind the drums.
Horse With No Name. He sings lead vocal, nails it, and plays acoustic guitar.
Still want that performance added to the live show set list.

Hard cover but done almost effortlessly. Drummer and backup vocals amazing!
