- Buckle up because I'm about to take y'all on a cruise through cow tongue city haha! Follow along as I walkthrough this delicious smoked beef tongue recipe! I'm giving you the step-by-step playbook on how to simmer the tongue for tenderness, peel the outer layer, season it with your favorite beef rub, and put some smoke on it!
Lengua is surprisingly easy and delivers HUGE flavor! You can enjoy the smoked tongue sliced on its own, or use it for tacos, sandwiches, and more!

- Smoked on my Oklahoma Joe's Tahoma 900 autofeed smoker.
- Saucy Luke's "Smokin Buffalo" sauce for the finishing touches.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Beef tongue
- 48oz quarts beef broth
- 4 liters water
- 1 onion
- 1 tablespoon whole pepper
- 2 bayleaves
- Mustard
- BBQ beef rub
- Favorite bbq sauce (final glaze)
