- In this video I will give you step by step instruction on how to make a color split dutch pour. Then I walk through how I add gold line work to add extra elegance to a piece. I used a 3:1 ratio of floetral to paint and water to thin. Featured colors are white, grey, Arteza gold, Arteza Paynes grey, and Amsterdam Venetian rose. 20"x20" canvas. Please like and subscribe. Every little bit helps! :)

I didn't choose art, it chose me. Since the age of 5 I knew I was meant to be an artist and have pursued that passion ever since. I've worked as a graphic designer professionally my entire adult life and have always done abstract art on the side. In mid 2020 I was working on a commissioned piece and was asked if I could make something in the style of pour painting. I had been pinning acrylic pouring/fluid art on Pinterest for a few years but had know idea how to create it. Thanks to the many wonderful artists on TH-cam who were willing to share their creation videos, tips, and tutorials on liquid acrylic painting I was able to start creating work in this style and I wanted to share that experience with you. Make sure to like and subscribe to my channel to follow along my journey of failures and triumphs and see all the fun techniques I try for the first time. There will also be tips and tricks I learn along the way along with easier beginner projects you might want to try at home! Comment below if there’s something you’ve seen that you want me to try I’d love to hear from you!

Definitely haven't mastered Dutch pour techniques!! A lot harder then it looks!!
Thanks so much and totally agree! Once you can get your paint consistency right though it's all just in how you blow it out. Keep trying I'm sure you'll get it!

I know it’s a personal preference thing, but I will stop watching a video, and move onto the next, as soon as I realise that it’s just music in the background. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
