Hi Sarah. Thank you so much for your generous detail and sharing your information. Fantastic video and beautiful dutch pour piece. Great tips. I see many video shorts in your list that i would really love to see the full creation video but they are only shorts. Are you only releasing mostly shorts for your paintings going forward? Do you have videos on using an airbrush! Thank you again for your fantastic inspiration and generosity. 😊

Thank you that's very sweet Sandie! While it's true I've only been releasing shorts recently that's purely been due to time restraints on my end. I'm making art and HomeGoods 24/7 for shows and events on top of a full time job and 3 children so I just haven't had the time I've wanted to make new full length videos. That being said I do have tons of ideas for videos written down and tucked away for the moment I get time. I have not used an airbrush yet but I'm always growing and playing in the studio with new mediums so you never know!

Sarah, this is lovely, I ordered some Liquid Latex, it looks so much easier than meticulously taping the back 😂 I’ve been stocking up on some boards to paint for holiday gifts. Thank you for sharing your gift.

It looks like it peels off pretty easily. What did you use at the edge of the paint, looks like a gold strip of ribbon, it adds such a spec touch to it

@@annashaffer6288 Good eye! I did add a line of gold metallic tape to the edge, and then added another coat of resin on top to seal it in. I just forgot to film that part so I cut that step from the video. I often use that technique to add elegance but also hide any resin that's gotten onto my board. :)

This time I will do it manually with the help of Woodglut designs.

When you pour the epoxy over the top of the paint, do you leave a gap to allow some of the resin to reach the board at all? Or is it exactly even with the paint? If that makes sense.

I do not leave a gap. I personally like the resin to just cover the paint. I have seen people do this with more fluid looks and it can look good though. Hope that helps. 😊

Hi there, beautiful work! How long does the board take to Totally cure...where you could place something on it? Oh, and is the resin you use non toxic and food safe? Thank you so much in advance, Kathy

Thank you! Usually, the paint will dry within a few days. I tend to touch it up several times over a couple of weeks as well, so it get's even longer to fully dry. Then I resin. And yes, the resin is safe to put food on after its fully cured. Although, I'd say with these boards people most likely don't put food on the design part, just the wood.

I did it too. This is what I used Woodglut designs for
