Our consumption of “meat”, dairy & eggs directly funds the slaughter of farmed animals.
This bull didn’t deserve this. Please go vegan for him & other victims of animal agriculture.
I am constantly amazed by the compassion that people feel for a cow that was literally raised for food and will walk past a homeless hungry person on the street and look at them like they are trash. That is what makes me cry.

Definitely. I grew up on a dairy farm. All the animals were humanely treated, far better than the animal kingdom treats them.
During mating season a bull got out and attacked a herd of sheep, mangled one to death.
lambing season a baby lamb / newborn was eaten alive by a predator.
Foxes got into the chicken coop, often killing the birds and leaving their body (the fox had its fill, and killed for enjoyment / fun).
Baby Ducks were eaten alive by rats... etc etc etc..
One season my brother and I were chased by a bull. We were 7 and 4 at the time and knew no better. Had we not gotten through the fence in time we would likely of been killed.
Out of all creation, human beings continue to be the most humane species on the planet by far.
What offends many people, is that they have an unrealistic perception of the animal kingdom, and the nature of beasts / animals. They are often guilty of projecting themselves onto the animal, yet often in the wild those persons projecting would be brutally murdered and eaten by the very thing they believed to be sweet and kind.

It doesn't happen on farms. I know that because I'm a farmer. All we farmers do is what's called selective breeding. This is the process of breeding desirable traits over undesirable traits. In other words: that bull has more muscle, let's use him instead of the scrawny one and breed our good cows with him.

This is easily an $8k bull possibly more and extremely well cared for. He isn't genetically modified, this is what a healthy well breed bull looks like. Nobody slaughters an animal that looks like this and is worth that much. He is more valuable alive. He is an older bull who has had a long life eating grass and breeding his ladies. He may be experiencing any number of problems. At his age being slaughtered, his meat will not go to market. The owners may choose to keep the meat or it will be processed for animal food such as dog food. Only cattle max 2 years of age are slaughtered for human market consumption and there is no such thing as a 2 year old bull that looks like this.

@@DragonLove225 Right, it’s why I’ve raised my own meat for many years now. Or I eat wild game and I raise the majority of my fruit and vegetables. Knowing what is put on produce from the stores I would eat that crap if I was strictly vegan. Even what is considered organic. The funniest thing is that vegans think they are better than anyone else. And if cows eat grass and grains and produce methane gas imagine all the gases vegans are producing. More greenhouse gases than meat eaters. Vegans need to start paying greenhouse gas taxes.
@@DragonLove225 And I’m not vegan and I’m not obese. I eat a well balanced diet like God designed our bodies to do. Nobody is trying to change your way of life so don’t mess with others way of life because you will get mowed down. Remember you are what you eat soy boy.

If humans were meant to be vegan, we’d all be fat as houses so our overblown stomachs could actually process greenery with efficiency, and we wouldn’t have meat eating teeth in our mouths. We’re omnivores through and through. That said, while going vegan just because of this animal being bred this way is ridiculous, we could be doing a lot more for the humane treatment of animals raised for meat.

In my youth, I ate no flesh for a year, & ½ at a market I met another vegan lad, we discussed the morality of killing to eat when the body manages without meat. We soon agreed that because our civilization eats beef, etc. millions of cattle live a deviated lives verses never being born into the world without their flesh being of value to us humans.
My diet is 80% beef 20% lamb but i identify vegetarian
