Best vacuum I have had in a long time. Because I have a lot of cats, I was looking for a vacuum with suction. I read the best suction power is 12 amps but couldn't find many with it. Many are at 7/8 amps. The amps on this vacuum is 11 amps and the suction is unbelievable! You can't believe it for something so lightweight! The swivel head glides around the walls and with a push of a button, the full bag drops right into the garbage. In order to install the new bag, you must push the release bag button again to make it click up, install the new bag, and then push bag holder back down until it clicks! I am so happy with this vacuum. Worth every penny. Be careful with the suction tho, it's powerful!
I'm replacing my old Kenmore Elite which I got at Sears in 1994 with this updated model. It has 12 amps and the suction is as good as the day I bought it 27 years ago.
It's a horrible design for the wand if you plan on using it for shelves or inside of drawers. I have to constantly spin the attachment because the handle is such a bad design in bulky in the way that it won't slide flush on most surfaces. It has good suction power but other than that the hoses too Short the wiring inside has been routed under the motor which will eventually snap.. I just realized that after a year when I took it apart and my wires to the sensor were nearly severed completely. Putting a new bag in requires easily removing the old one but having to pry up to get the second click so the next bag will easily slide in.. so many people hate this vacuum because they can't insert new bags.. I figured out you just have to be very aggressive with it to make it easy. Now I'm off to take it apart again fix the severed wires that are causing a problem most likely with my shutting off and on randomly when I move it. It's a horrible cheap Chinese piece of junk
Agreed. Just had to replace the short lower house and had to figure it out myself. Purchased the replacement for $11.99 with free shipping. Wasn't too difficult but there are a boatload of screws to remove
I just mentioned this myself. Ours had holes all over the lower hose. Can anyone tell me where to buy a replacement hose and what I'd type in while looking for it? Thanks!
I just purchased this vacuum for $189.00 on line and did a video on it. A unboxing and quick try. I will continue to use it and see how I like it after a couple of weeks. Thanks for the review.
@@deborahduncan539 Hi Deborah, I’m not really understanding what you’re having a problem with. If possibly can you send me a video or picture of what you are having a problem with?
@@DeadOppSmokka Hello 👋, I did want a update video but I honestly just for got. Sorry my friend. I no longer use this vacuum anymore. I feel it didn’t do a deep down carpet clean and it just skimmed the top of my carpet. Not on my favorite list my friend. 👎
Love this vacuum, but the new bag will NOT click in. I have tried and tried, called the help-line, but still will not click in! Probably have to send it back :(
Try pushing the top of the bag down a little so that only the cardboard part that slides in is exposed. This is what I did in order to get it to slide in and click properly.
Okay well I have disassembled this vacuum because of problems and I have found everything wrong with it. Firstly the hose is not long enough. Not on the end that connects to the head or the wand. They really cheaped out and a lot of people experience snapping of the hose at the bottom. If you need to vacuum anything like a shelf good luck because the handle has a horrible design. My roller is spinning intermittently so I took it apart and realized they had routed two wires that go to the sensor directly under the motor where a lot of pressure is and they have almost split in half. I take very good care of my belongings but this thing should be worth $75 the cord is so thin to save on materials.. it's impossible to comfortably use the wand since it's so short and the handle is very uncomfortable. I have to add the attachment sideways then put it in the drawer or the shelf to vacuum it. It has good suction power is about the only thing going for it and luckily I don't have tall carpet. now I have to disassemble it all over again and fix whatever is causing the roller brush to intermittently shut off.. everything online says check the belt or clean it yeah I know that's common sense and i did.
Got mine a couple of weeks ago. Love it so far. Interesting with the floor nozzle. My brushroll sporadically stops spinning sometimes for a brief moment. I wonder if that was the issue. I actually contacted Kenmore the other day about it. I wonder if mine was included in the initial bad batch. They didn't automatically send me a new power nozzle. I figured the bag level indicator is based on the suction, and since it maintains its suction as the bag fills, the indicator won't move until the bag is close to being completely full.
Richard, I have the same thing going on with the Bag Fill Lights. Only the first one stays lit. Did you every discover what is causing it to not progress along? Thank you for any response!
@@richardbilot608 I was waiting to change the bag thinking it compacted it somehow, but it doesn't mention anything in the manual. Guess I'll have to call them 😞
On any vacuum I've ever had that has a bag full indicator... I've never had mine show the bag needs changing....I think because it takes me FOREVER to fill a bag.... cuz I'm a clean freak I'm never working with that much dirt.... the only time the bag full indicator lights up is if I cut off suction
You're reviewing this vacuum, and you're saying there's nothing really wrong with it. But then you said the vacuum bag fullness indicator was not working. So there IS something wrong with it.
