I agree with everything except the tsukumo upgrading. You definitely want to upgrade the healing one first to at least level 5 (edit: level 5 will give a heal a heal bonus and healing mist upgrades) and then the thread one or defender one to level 3 or 4. The thread one gives passive thread regen so I chose it second and the defense one gives permanent health upgrades. Don’t bother leveling attack until last as the damage is pretty much crap.
I just put one level into healing and all the rest into thread upgrade. The karakuri are the base of the game and a major part of combat, yet can feel pretty limited if you used everything up and the monster doesn't have one of its weak-points open. I'd say it really depends on how you prefer to play.
Yeah, Toukiden 2 did something similar and it was really fun to just mooch around and find things. It made the game super unique and it could work well in MH.

I love your Vids Cotton, however there is a second use for the vendor trash Kemono materials. They are often used at the ornament crafters to craft ornaments. Now Ornaments have no in game effect that I have found,, aside from making you look spiffy, but if you want 'em, many of them require those vendor trash monster bits.

God Eater lets you donate half your current HP to a fallen ally, however they still lose a little Endurance (1 per faint in GE3, and you had a max of 9, you lose an extra 2 if you have to respawn). Toukiden had a similar system to this game (unsurprising since it's the same developers who made both), knocked out allies have a steadily emptying revival meter that you filled by holding R1 near them, fill it and they're revived with a little bit of health, if it empties then they faint for proper and it's one added to the usual 3 faint limit. It starts lower every time you're knocked out, so it still punishes frequent faints. It's strange how MH is the only game not to do this.
I have a question, Does food buff stack? Like if I eat a onion, that give 2 hp, then a pickle that give 3 attacks and bacon that give 2 stamina, do all those buff stack up or overwrite each other? All those aside, this game has 1 goal, keep you hunting, not just combat wise, but it's desing, how you can travel, how you get money and collect resources (Capcom, PLS, just copy and paste the animation to collect resources from wild hearts, they are practically as hell) it might have performance issues or some bugs here and there, but is so good that I just alright ignore all those, amazing game
Is there a capture mechanic like in mh? I've had a habit for a long time for monsters I consider cute capturing instead of slaying (excluding the obvious elders and up. And seeing the rabbit with horn kemono instantly makes me want to cap instead of slay it lol
There's no capture mechanic, because they're Kemono's, the in game Lore is said that they supernatural beings, basically equivalent of Elder dragons in MONSTER HUNTER.
There is a whole capture system with smaller creatures you can build cages for them and they give you materials by either being friendly or killing them i believe.
Anyone else not able to connect to EA online? The first day the demo was out I was able to join people, but yesterday and today I can't go online for some reason. I'm able to go online for other games like battlefield and Madden though and I restarted my router and made sure my NAT type was open. I'm at a loss...
I am still very early in the game,but one thing that I'm finding frustrating so far is the targeting and not being able to lock on and stay locked on the kemono.

I’m up to anomaly level 176 in Sunbreak now, probably gonna squeeze 181+ tomorrow for the 2nd to last augment slot, then buy this on Friday & hopefully beat it before TU5 Because man am I tired of hunting afflicted seething Bazelgeuse over & over Hopefully I can finish Wild Hearts with plenty of time to go back to Sunbreak & earn the final augment slot from lvl 201+ It’s stupid but I want to face Amatsu (or whatever the final boss is) at full strength… even though it will probably be a joke I could beat with no augments at all 🤔

How come you guys are not saying this is unplayable on console? You need to warn your viewers and not deceive them. This game looks horrible on console, lighting is bad, really bad. Don't buy this on console and low-end PCs. You can thank me later, I don't need views.
Because people have different experiences? I'm playing on PS5 and the only thing that was terrible was the motion blur, so I deactivated that and it went smoothly afterwards

I really love the Interconnected open world map in WILD HEARTS, Capcom needs to implement something similar in MONSTER HUNTER 6.

They stack, but theres a satiation limit. Once you reach the limit, you cant eat anymore for that hunt/period of time.
