It's so much to learn and do, but I'm so happy because all this stuff is what I wanted in a monster hunter genre game. Basically you doing everything to support yourself.
One quick note - there are specific areas in the map where the tent cost decreases drastically. This is the game encouraging you to make a tent there. However, I've noticed there generally isn't any such location in the middle of the maps, only the edges, so I'll spend 50 putting one in the middle as well.
Please do a guide on the pets/small creatures that you can put on cages and they give you stuff, like, how to find the ones that are actually hard to find, or what are the most useful ones
The campfire is where you "Decide what to hunt next", fairly important if you want to do multiple hunts and keep your food buff and not return to Minato first.
You don't have to unlock it the first time you find them either, As long as you've touched the Dragon Put, Even if you didn't have the resources to unlock it. you can do So at any time from the map, The same way you can upgrade them.
when i unlocked the canyon place thingy i was walking around and found a hotspring area which acted as another campsite and lowered the cost of tents down to 5 earth or something. are there any more areas like that?
Its a sort of dev intended site for a fast travel camp that has severely reduced tent costs. There is one on every map and can be found via radars. It will show as a black tent icon with a question mark on it
@@Indubitible_E don't think so. Iirc I had the one on Harugasumi way marked early on (well before i got the deep probe upgrade which is meant for finding collectibles) since I focus on my radar network early on in a map. The little pop up notices on the side of your screen also mention if you get near one after which it should show on your map regardless of a radar pulse being currently active
I'm a little confused about the dragon karakuri, take the flying vine as an example, it resources from the dragon pits right? Which then limits how many I can have on any given map, correct? So if that's the case, do I have to go around and deconstruct these flying vines, so I don't run out of resources, and can still put one down whenever I want?
Correct, if you're out of a given Dragon Pit element that you need, you'll have to go deconstruct something that's using up that element. For this reason I'm using Minato for ingredient storage and processing, and the maps only for collection.
you regain the resources of Dragon Karakuri when you break them down. Basic and Fusion Karakuri that stick around if they arent used however do not refund you the string you used to make them if you manually break them down.
There are specific areas in the map where a tent cost very low making them ideal. You get a message like "Travel point discovered" on your first time discovering the location
I know this comment is 3-4 days old but in case you still needed help, you upgrade the dragon pits by using crystals. You need only to touch it once, whether you can upgrade it or not, and then you can upgrade it from the map. You’ll need small and large crystals you get from strawberry-shaped red berries and rib cages that light up that birds or insects fly out of when you get close to it. Before you upgrade though, make sure the pit you’re upgrading is giving you the materials you need, like the leaf (referred to as wood in game) is needed for vines, unless you have the enhanced flying vine which requires water. You can see what resources you’re getting before you upgrade at the top right, shows a green-ish color of the resources you’ll gain from the upgrade. Like I said, I know I may be a bit late to help with this but I do hope this helps!
Can other people join you on story mission? Coz no-one seems to be joining them on story missions. Coz I'm stuck on that 5 red star bird on act 3 and he's breaking my balls.
Be careful with food containers if you put them in Minato. I did that and 2-3 hunts later all my ingredients where gone. Might be bug or zoning etc but still annoying.
So be sure not to put those resources in the red container, the red container is the shared container that players who visit your town can grab anything inside of it. Put your items in the brown/yellow container, that container can only be accessed by you. You won’t ever know when another player showed up to your town because it’s completely random when and who’s game your character will show asking for help from another player Hunter.
So you're too lazy to explore is what you're saying because beside the dev inspired tent that is only 5, u can literally put a tent anywhere you like that is convenient for you.
Nah, not too lazy to explore. More like too lazy to figure out where would be the optimal places to put tents and flying vines across the map for easy travel. Would you like to wear the big boy pants and make a video about it?
@Hayden i just explained it to you, if you can read you should have no problem figuring it out for yourself. Does baby need to be spoonfed too? Place 3 tents on the edges, one in the middle, and any vines through areas up or down that are frequently traveled between them. I know its hard to wrap your little head around, but we believe in you! You can do it! Use your critical thinking skills and figure it out.

Nice planning, thanks for the guide.
There are specific camp locations that drastically reduce the cost of the Tent. Wish you’d listed those

Man I love this game me and my best friend are absolutely in awe started chapter 2
Can you increase the resources in Minato? Just enough so I can get a lot of food processing items. Smokers, drying racks, ect.
Loving this game I can't wait for DLC's and events
Simply put, this is a top notch tips video. Thank you!
So correction you do NOT have to do the initial upgrade on the pit in order to upgrade it from the map. You only have to touch it.
will there be a meat farm route with the food guide?
So at some point I'll have a ride, that is awesome😊
Thanks for your hard work you have made wild heart so much fun !!! You so helped me !!!

How do u unlock Wildlife pen?? Need to hunt what Kemono?
Which kemono does unlock the hunter bath?
Vermilion versions have PURELY aesthetic difference even though energy management is kinda important.

Ok the doom wheel transport is amazing

You need to request assistance. Otherwise no hunter can join your game unless specifically invited.
Be careful with food containers if you put them in Minato. I did that and 2-3 hunts later all my ingredients where gone. Might be bug or zoning etc but still annoying.
It happened to me as well, specifically after killing Amateratsu.
Dunno if that is the trigger, or if it can happen at random.

You can destroy the DK to refund the resource costs.
I'd rather if you just show us where you set them up exactly on each map, rather than just recommend how many there should be.
Put on your big boy pants and just figure it out when you get to each map. Lmao its not hard, put a few on the edge and one in the middle, done
