Thanks for the honest review sir. This is my complaint when i test drive last December. oh yes! jerky cya pag start stop on traffic in fact i can drive smoother than my 20 year old manual civic on traffic or maybe i'm not used to automatic petrol engine :). So i have my doubts and consider other models. any review's for 2020 coolray?

Dct, dual clutch transmission is the same as manual transmission. Hindi pwede naka D while on stop masusunog ang clutch lining. Kaya jerky sya kasi mag ooverheat na ang transmission :)

Gamitin nyo kasi yung autohold.
Ahaha. Palibasa puro CVT mga pinoy. Hindi nakatikim ng DCT.
Pag naka autohold. Naka D ka pa din kahit wag mo na tapakan brake. Naka disengage yung clutch para d jerky. Konting apak gas bibitaw autohold brake at eengage clutch ulit para tumakbo.

Dct is similar to a manual transmission inside, unlike cvt and planetary gear w/ torque converter AT,,make sense n ilagay sa N while stop,,
Honest review suited for philippine market. MG really is value for money.
It is cheap like motorcycle made in china but it does not hold value dont buy. Put more money for japanese car.
fair point, japanese cars do hold their value and dealers put hefty margins in it.

The only concern i have with MG is, gaano kadali makapagpaayos kung sakaling masira.
Pero mukhang lahat naman kasi ng brands and dealers mapapakamot ka sa tagal nilang mag-ayos or magkumpuni ng may sirang kotse.

Mukang mazda talaga. Galing gumaya ng MG sa design. Makina reliability lang ang alanganin baka d tumagal ng 60k km puro na repair

MG is a British car so as Jaguar but why do they look the same when their parent company is different, they have the same grill, if you look at this and do not know a lot about cars you'd thinl it's a Jaguar

Tamad siguro or hindi gumagamit ng handbreak. Tapos hindi uso auto hold sa older A/T cars.

Ang daming bullshit wlang alam agent 6 to 7km lng to sa city swerte na mag 8. Ang seatbelt tumutuong pg d nkakabit pero my nakaupo dapat.Un ibang DCT d ganyan ka jerky try geely para china din or forte para nmn magka level. Sira na nga un akin 1st day plng sliding na clutch . Clutch are weak sa incline nagvibrate struggling na kumapit d tlga pwede magbabad kahit konti full stop dapat. Probably not gonna last a long time due to driving style and traffic here in manila. Hats off sa reviewer kamukha mo tulfo brothers haha

@@elyserva7903 i own the car lol. Mix city is 6 to 9. After breakin 8 nlang. Light footed mode.. Going highway 11 to 13. Kaya 15 but you have to be efficient in using cruise control which is nakakapagod on and off sa dami nag cut . And you have run only under 100kph to achieve 15. Tried it already many times . Obviously theydidnt test it thoroughly

Mlakas talaga sa gas ang turbo charged engine sa city driving. Pati din geely mababa din fuel milage nya sa sa city. Sa pure highway nga umaabot lng ng 15kpl lng. Pilit pa un

@@neeepneeep mataas torque at hp kasi naka turbo charge ung makina. Its a cheap way para palakasin ang makina kesa lakihan at at taasan ang cc. Ang d lang maganda sa turbo charged engine d maganda gas milage at d pangmatagalan. Mas mahal pa maintenance sa katagalan.
