Personally, I feel like vanu just has larger organized outfits than NC and TR, and during prime time, they use those numbers to dump more pop on fights. I've noticed that near the end of an alert, every VS territory either has no pop or has a 48-96+ pop. If you try to take a base with no vanu pop with a whole platoon, all of a sudden you have two VS platoons stomping you out instantly. If you try to go help with a 48-96+ fight, most of the time the VS have already stomped the fight out by the time you get in with air. If you get lucky and there still is a fight, then you've got around a minute before you get outpopped again. If you do manage to make a difference and flip point, then most of the time the VS will just move to another base, wait for the fight to die down, and then redrop it after people leave.
I main TR but have a BR 50 VS alt, both on Connery. VS SEEMS overpowered because of a combination of different factors. The first being that like you said, Vanu has a tendency to attract more try hards. A lot of the players on other factions are more casual. The second being the infantry weapons. While to a VS player it seems like a lot of their arsenal is limited, they are actually well equipped. Majority of VS weapons are like TR weapons without as many cons, thus amplifying an already skilled players ability. I main heavy and medic. When I switch to my VS alt, I'm noticeably better from the start. The recoil is better, as I mainly have to fight vertical recoil rather than horizontal which is near impossible to compensate for. The ROF is almost the same as my TR weapons. The accuracy is better. I'll take any of those over a larger magazine. There's also the matter of no bullet drop, which does matter. VS mains like to claim crappy velocity and damage drop off negates this. It does not, as the velocity difference is minimal at least on TR guns, but the non VS player also has damage drop off. The key difference is one player can burst spray straight on target, while the non VS player has to compensate for bullet drop as well as staying on target. Having more damage at longer range doesn't matter if you can't hit the target. And with several VS weapons now shooting extra thicc special ammo, those are even harder to dodge while ADS than the standard lasers. Which brings me to the final point. The VS "gimmicks." Starting with armor, magrider is the most versatile. Prowler is fast but literally has to stand still to use its perk. Vanguard while tanky is slow AF. Neither can strafe (or fly). VS mains underestimate how useful that is. Mags can play peek a boo behind cover and there is almost always cover. It usually takes multiple enemy tanks to target and hit the mag from various angle to negate strafe or rush it since that's where the mag actually struggles. Infantry usually have to resort to lock ons for Mags as standard rockets outside of point blank are easily dodged. Then there's the lasher lol. It's is not only effective area deniability, but also allows squads of them to slowly melt their ways around corners and advance. The Jackhammer and MCG require direct LOS. The jackhammer can't spam doorways. And while the MCG can, the damage is weak and there is often bullet loss with its ROF, so targets often make it through the doorway. This is especially true of C4 fairies. This post is long enough as is, but you get the idea. I don't think VS is overpowered. I actually get most of my kills from fighting VS and maintain a solid KD. But I've been playing since Nov 2012 so I know how they operate and how to counter their advantages. That being said folks can't deny VS takes skilled players and makes them better thanks to enlightened technology. While not invincible, their jack of all trades and then some approach is effective. I almost went VS when the game started, got all my characters to BR 15 before I made a decision. But their screeching outfit leaders made it more of a job at the time than a game. Fun as hell to fight though. I love dropping into a fight against VS with my TR trooper. Always feel like I'm in a sci fi war movie, and they normally offer a good fight.
Master, teach me the way! I'm a new, very casual, player (lvl 35 TR medic main on CERES) and i always feel like playing Vanu is like playing on easy mode. I play on ps4, so I know that Im already at a disadvantage because of the PS4 controller aim issues, but to me it feels like all their weapons are laser beams and my T1-Cycler/TAR are peashooters or water guns. I get downed in 1-1.5 second of gun time, whereas i need double that time on target to secure the kill. Do we have laser beams too and is it just a skill issue, or is this a thing i will have to deal with for the rest of my planetside experience? Because to me it seems like everything branded VS (even vehicles and "planes") has a super high DPS and manueverability without the drawback of being squishy like they say they are on the internet
At least on Emerald, a lot of the time VS will win alerts simply because players on TR and NC don't enjoy fighting VS. I feel it too. TR/NC fights are amazing! VS, not so much. It's basically a given that VS is going to win prime time alerts. There's no surprise and nothing special about it. Nobody cares. We would rather have a fun fight and lose the alert instead of wasting time fighting the VS and getting less enjoyment out of the game.
Totally forgot to mention this but yeah, that's a huge part too. When there isn't much pressure applied to a faction, they can respond with a big force and overwhelm the opposition numerically.
@@isteallittlejewishchildren literally as a TR on Connery, we prefer fighting NC over VS because we don't like getting aids-cancered on by constant invis behavior lol... I think the fact that 2 servers have the same opinion is telling...
As a east coast player such as myself I find it really rare when I am on vs to find new players playing them. They are a lot of times a second faction, and I believe the player base is just extremely experience. Then again I hate playing against them cause R18 are a very organized out fit of mid fit players. They are not fun ever to fight against, and the only way to beat them is to counter Zerg them.
The standard armor color blends in better with the background, even on Indar, especially at night and the contour of the armor is not distinctive enough at a glance so first it's difficult to spot VS against the background and two, you need to do a half second double take if it's friend or foe, might be confused with friendly with a special camo and armor. Their default color should be bright teal not grey and dark purple, just like TR has bright red and NC bright blue and yellow. Make Vanu teal again.
VS armor really doesn't blend in any better with the background compared to the other factions. during the day all factions are a dark object on a bright surface, and at night they're all a dark object on a dark surface. I've literally never had any issues spotting VS. also, you don't need to do a "half second double take" to see if it's an enemy, because (unless this was patched out since I played for some reason) the game literally puts an arrow above the heads of your allies, so if you see someone who doesn't have that arrow, they're *probably* an enemy.
This was actually one of the reasons I've chosen Vanu when first starting the game and knowing nothing about the factions. Had a good time playing at night.
Yeah VS is very much an infantry specialized faction, whenever we do pull vehicles, at least on Miller there is an overwhelming amount of support & logistics vehicles being pulled over armor, we're more concerned about getting set up at the next base than slugging with tanks i think. Also speaking from personal experience, i don't bother with armor anymore on VS, it's either galaxy in the air, sunderer or ant on the ground or general infantry.
I play on Connery VS and something I've noticed is most of my faction plays to win the alert. It seems that more VS players/outfits on this server care about winning the alert. I joined VS because I love the sci-fi aesthetic. I'm also a long time FPS player and love Rainbow Six Siege as an example. You have mentioned this in a previous video and it does apply to me. I play infantry a lot more than in vehicles. Every time I think about pulling a magrider it's for fun and I assume if I run into another MBT I'm dead. I try to have fun with the mobility of the tank and use that to my advantage. I'm still not great with ESFs so I can't comment on the Scythe.
As TR only player for years i resently tried Vanu because a friend i introduced to the game wanted to play Vanu. What can i say: Playing Vanu feels like easy mode. The Infantrie weapons feel laser accurate, little recoil. Scyte flies like a charm and its super easy to escape tricky situations with the super mobile Magrider.
I had similar experience but with tr, weapons feel like they are shoot with more umpf and mosquito is really maneuverable and has good weapons, and the Prowler can actually stand up in a fight, without having to run away every few seconds + I can shoot at a decent range
Indeed, why is VS stronger? Hmmm...let's see... Probably because only VS have something unique? Vehicle - NC and TR - shoot/drive/fly. VS - fly/shoot/hover. Also, a tank can enter ABSOLUTELY from any direction - that is, the tactical significance of the landscape simply flies into the trash - where it would be possible to contain the tank column in a narrow place, VS simply surround and that's it. We go further - infantry weapons. Rocket launchers - NC have a tele-rocket - which can of course be spammed, but it - can be shot down / pretty quickly you can figure out where it comes from / the shooter is defenseless ALL the time the rocket is flying. TR has a rapid-fire rocket launcher - but it is almost useless against ground vehicles due to splitting damage into many rockets and lack of homing, and against aircraft, the guidance mechanic is only effective within 100 meters. And then - if the plane is not moving straight ahead / away from you - there may be problems with hitting already at 70+ meters. At this time, VS - have an option that, although you need (not necessarily) to charge for maximum damage - the beam flies almost instantly, so you can practice a little and shy direct fire around everything, while waiting for aiming is not required and it is impossible to dodge. Ranged Weapons - VS has a weapon variant with heating mechanics in ALL ranged weapons. I think no one needs to explain HOW useful is this? (although the very mechanics of heating for VS manual weapons is, logically, complete nonsense. Plasma technologies = plasma needs a working fluid = ammunition is still needed) At the same time, almost all weapons on the VS have excellent recoil characteristics. And - there is also a SMG, which has a damage archetype of 167 - but at the same time a frenzied rate of fire, which makes it probably the best SMG in the game, even the Auraxic variants. Lasher - there's nothing to say here - 3 or even 2 shooters with lashers shooting at the passage - they don't even need to aim - and NO ONE will pass through it. And, more recently, VS gave unstable ammunition, which allow you to almost not aim at all - just aim near the enemy's silhouette - the projectile will hit him. Oh, and the lack of falling projectiles - no matter how VS protests - this helps VERY in battle, where the distance exceeds 10 meters. And now let's see - what is so UNIQUE in the small arms of other factions? The NS has a whole powerful shotgun, and the TR has a minigun? Wow, they must be VERY useful? But for some reason, I only sometimes see how someone from NC runs with a jackhammer, and I haven’t seen a minigun among TR comrades for a long time (I myself run with him, probably a couple of revivals, once every 2-3 weeks) - because due to its accuracy and reduced rate of fire, it is fairly easy to outgun, sometimes even after fully spun up. At the same time, there are plenty of Lashers. And, well, NC also has a railjack - but for some reason it is also almost never used. Hmm, POSSIBLY it's because of the delay before the shot, which is often the cause of misses? No, that's probably some bullshit... There are sub-caliber shells in NC (and Bishop, which pierces through) - but which do not always realize their potential, while reducing performance. Bishop can even put his own when you shoot others. And it not on all weapons. There is TR ammo that increases damage to the legs - but you have long been accustomed to shooting in the head (which still kills faster). Well, they are far from being on all weapons. And what - it looks like there is NOTHING else? The rest of the weapons do NOT have anything unique (except that the jackal has a module that needs to be BUYED - but no one uses it anyway, because it is useless). Everything else is just a normal weapon, with different damage/rate of fire characteristics. Oh, and VS has the best collimators.
I just got into a VS platoon recently with a real sweat lead. Like literally he ordered us to teamkill a sundy in a base because capturing that base would aggro the NC and TR. Provoking a response we'd be hard pressed to handle. in the end we won that alert with like 70% territory IIRC.
I never thought about the Infantry Vehicle point before. Thinking about how I play it does make sense. I tried to learn how to dogfight well and took a break from it to snipe due to frustration. Now I just focus on sniping at a decent, rage inducing to the point of having a library of salty PMs from my victims level. Hell I Aurax'd all the snipers (that aren't just reskins of the base/pre existing) now. I started this 2 years ago. I'm super heavy on infantry. The only vehicle I would pull on the regular without a Platoon Lead telling me to pull is the Flash.
Vanu player explains that Vanu its not overpowered because its mainly infantry. 1. Create an account play as an TR on any server. 2. Choose a Sector to Warp Indar (Locked) Won by Vanu Esamir (Locked) Won by Vanu Hossin (Locked) Won by NC Oshur its open: Fuck that, Mag Ridders move faster on water can flank spawnpoints. Amerish is open: Fuck that Mag Ridders can climb mountains and blow up bases from far away. 3.- Ask for help on TR squad chat [You] "Guys i need repairs to push the VS" [Squad] "Okay if you go Max nobody its going to repair you thats your problem" 4. Go to Sanctuary test weapons and try tomorrow.
I think a lot of it is also player perception. As in it doesn't feel good to get killed by things you don't have access to and it 'feels' like an unfair advantage despite what statistics might say. When you get killed by Magriders from places you can't reach with other tanks, when you constantly get harassed by a bored squad of mastheads, a bunch of heavys with Jackhammers, etc.
Thats why i try to stay flexible in the game. Sometimes you get swamped and you got to learn to adapt to the situation and also know when to cut your losses.
Miller TR main here, and in my experience NC is the more annoying faction to fight against, because of shotguns and the goddamn Jackhammer, but the stats don't lie, VS wins the most alerts, period. As a TR main i rarely play on the other factions, but what i do know is that VS weapons are way easier to control without burst firing because of the recoil patterns, and that is a big advantage for new players. In fact, when i made my first VS character years ago and was testing out the factions and their weapons i had the highest k/d of all 3 factions. I disagree with your vehicle play commentary completely, Scythe has the easiest controls between the factions and is very new player friendly for a2g farming strats, because even with the lower damage if you can consistently hit your targets then you're gonna kill them. Idk about dogfighting though, not good at it on any of the factions. Magrider is the total opposite of Scythe: you need experience and map knowledge, and must know how to escape in any situation. If you have these 3 then the mobility of the Magrider allows you to do some weird stuff, and that's the point of the vehicle: flank and surprise like none other can.
NC main. You hate the Jackhammer? The chaingun feels the most annoying. As for ESF. NC has the worst air game, we don't have any good pilots. I have seen three reavers try and fight one mosquito or one scythe and every time NC gets taken out by one guy. THe only time that doesn't happen is if its 1 guy vs like 6 or 7 NC ESFs.
@@Mord12gp MCG vs Jackhammer depens on the situation, if you're holding a chokepoint MCG is gonna do great, but for 1v1's? Until MCG revs up it does sub-optimal damage without "proper" accuracy. Air game depends very much on the server because of the players. Also i wouldn't call Reavers weak, it can dish out lots of damage in a short time and gtfo of the combat zone. I also have been in the situation you've mentioned multiple times, and it's indeed quite frustrating.
TR main on Connery, in my experience NC are far more chill and fun to fight against, even with their many shotguns, because VS are such arrogant tryhards who will gloat over every little thing. Not to mention the consistency and ease of use of most of their weapons.
First of all, I disagree that the magrider is not as good as the other tanks. Yeah face to face, it might los more fights than it wins but that's why that thing can fly and sneak up on enemies like no other tank can. And That's where a lot of the fun comes from too. I personally just think that Vanu is the coolest sounding faction for most new players and therfore most new players pick this faction as their main and therefore there are always more vanus than others which at least helps immensely in winning the alerts. They tried to fix that with the NSO characters and I think it got better but not good yet. When I started playing this game 10 years ago, Vanu was just the most interesting faction. Nowadays I would love to play some TR and NC but I am almost at my second A.S.P. rank. And I know that I would miss at least 5 different play stiles that I have unlocked with weapons, equipment and A. S. P. Points and therfore more often then not, If I would play another faction, I would either get annoyed that I can not deal with a certain szenario the way I want to or that I am missing weapons and equipment etc. It took me 10 years to get this far with my character, there is just no way, I can put the same amount of time into one of the other factions. And THAT is where the real problem lies in my opinion.
Having recently started playing, and on all 3 sides, since I like elements of each, I can say that the vanu starter weapons are complete trash, with the exception of the Orion, which is great in close combat, but not so much at longer ranges. The Cycler is just godly in comparison, and the AF-19 Mercenary makes me wonder why people say weapons are really sidegrades, when it's so much better than the Solstice.
A fun statistic I remember was back in 2015, they had the average age of players for the different factions. NC was 15, TR was 16 and VS was 21. Yeah that's a hell of a jump.
i didnt know but iam not suprised. Adults are not as influenced like kids. OFC we wanted to play the sci-fi in a sci-fi game. That explains the hard rapes back than. I felt almost everytime very pity for NC and TR^^
I desagree as a main tank player, i can say that vanu has the best tank, its just that its more difficult for the common folk to use it at its full potentiel
i mostly agree but its depent on the ground u are and the Range. Can we strife, its very hard to hit our tank. And with some Time, the main Weapon dmg is really good. But yes it takes time and some anger^^ to really get into this tank. in a Short range, oh shit skirmish the Mag cannot compete with the other two MBTs
I think part of the reason why betelguese has seen less op comments over the past few months, esp after the arsenal update, is due to the strength of the betelguese getting added more widely. Just as two quick examples off the top of my head, scavenger which can greatly increase weapon uptime on LMG's, and whichever TR LMG now has 300 rounds per mag. The strongest part of the betelguese was not straight 1v1 it was uptime and chained fights, swapping to secondary/medkit and coming back with more ammo, and now that TR has a great way to do it and NC has good ways to do it, betelguese takes a huge hit in how strong it used to be. Meanwhile the other guns, including the orion, have not seen the same hit and are still have the same strengths which are usually 1v1's.
The Butcher suffers considerably in accuracy compared to the Betelguese, so there is a drawback to all that ammo. Betelguese is so good because its an Orion, which is already very easy to use for very high reward, but you never have to reload. Never having to reload is criminally underrated by VS players that don't play other factions. Its not only downtime reduction, but it means you're always prepared for the next engagement. You can engage on your own terms since you never have to sit behind a rock for 6-7 seconds reloading your weapon. Is the Gauss SAW better? Yes. Does that make the Betelguese stop being a problem? No.
Nah beatlguise is still op it kills me faster than anything the tr or NC use when I swap around characters. But you don't see complaints about it cause everyone got tired of complaining about it and having 5000000 vanu fanboys harass the player for even talking about it. Yeah I'm not gonna be making posts about it anymore when all I get back is toxic vanu fanboys
On Emerald, there are 3 outfits that exclusively redeploy across the map. They have leadership that watches the clock and pop on every fight. They have training ops on how to take and lock down point holds. The nerfing of pulling vehicles from spawn crippled the speed of those outfits. Using even remotely the same strategy undoes these outfits with equal numbers or more. It gets stale as heck playing with these groups even if they get the job done. They leap across the map to sweep a base clean and then leave to do it again. I quit these outfits because I got exhausted playing the exact same strats for years. Same absolute point holds. Same winning moves. I like a fight that goes on indefinitely. I don't like ending a fight in less than a minute. Sure, it wins you the alert, but I would rather enjoy the strife in each base. They are all really cool people and personally I'd share a barbecue day with any of them, but I deeply love sticking to some broad stalemate and seeing if I can go the hour with a bounty on my head, giving tips to folks under BR 10, in the other faction, to help the new guys get this x off of me. It's a much better experience than raging across a base to clean it.
Ya You know you sure make it sound like slapping the ez button Seems all to often such redeploy tactics hurt more than help “Let the blueberries finish the cap” (Miss points etc.) Lo and behold the cap doesn’t go through OR Finish a cap and instead of pushing the next base (possible cutoff) It’s off across the map to make some fail attempt on perhaps a 96 (Two Platoons/Zerg) Then rinse/repeat on the base ya just took (But the enemy made adjustments, and are now entrenched)
Idk, I feel like I clown VS but specifically NC causes major problems for me. They have so many easy to use effective weapons for close to mid range, where most of the fighting happens.
Vanu has several leaders who are cults of personality, I personally got tired of a lack of platoons on the NC front. I was hardcore NC, she was my first love, but the dismal performance of the average NC player is demoralizing.
Also, it seems lately that VS have a higher population compared to TR and NC nowadays especially when a lot of Australian players have shifted over to Emerald, a lot of them went VS. While VS weapons do not hit as hard as NC guns, they are far more accurate and have a lower skill ceiling. I've heard people argue that Vanu weapons require more skill to handle the "horizontal" recoil. As an NC main with over 2k hours of gameplay, I can say with confidence that when I played VS, it felt a lot easier to engage targets at all ranges and I often found myself over-compensating due to my experience with NC/TR weapons. The guns were a lot less punishing, the MBT Magrider made it easy to ambush and out maneuver TR and NC tanks. This isn't me trying to sling the "VS IS OP" schtick. There is a big difference between something being OP and being easier to handle, the whole OP arguments comes from the fact that their weapons are fresh out of the box friendly, which isn't something OP it just is as stated. The crux of why VS has always been successful has been the same reason since planetside 1, their weapons and vehicles. They are meant to be flexible. TR has dakka, NC have stopping power, VS are in the middle. A fresh player on VS has a slight leg up compared to a fresh TR player or an NC player. When I say that VS have a leg up, I mean that a new player's skill progression is a lot shorter in comparison to reach mid-level proficiency in fights. I mean this by strictly fighting, not including things like logistics/spawn placement/ect ect. This is not to say that TR and NC weapons are weak in comparison, or that veteran TR and NC players are lacking compared to a VS player, far from it. What I mean is that on a progression scale you will see new to mid-level players perform slightly better on VS due to the more forgiving characteristics of their weapons. This may be a very small fraction of the overall argument, but compare that to a player on NC or TR who originally have to learn how to tame weapons like the CARV/Cycler or the Saw/Gauss Rifle for example, which compared to a weapon like the Orion or Pulsar have very different characteristics. Bottom line of this whole post is that VS weapons are and always have been easier to pick up in comparison and people who deny this are either unaware or unwilling to admit this fact and those that cry about VS being OP lack an understanding of their own empire's strengths and gameplay. This isn't a jab at VS players by the way, since I can already hear the "BUT ACTUALLY" being typed in the reply section. This is by design. Each empire has something they excel at and for VS it is the ability to be more flexible, you only have to look at the way their weapons/vehicles work and what the empire was created with in mind.
VS weapons just feel better to use. I made a vanu character a while back to see how their weapons were and it's a world of difference in my opinion. The sight clarity is the biggest thing, but also the weapons just click better. LMGs feel more accurate, Carbines and SMGs feel more accurate, everything feels more accurate.
The SAW in the most overpowered weapons after the Guise nerf. The 3 shots headshot is just superior when two players of equal skill fighter each other, the SAW always comes out on-top. Also, leadership does lead to prime alert wins. If you ever go on Emberald, you could try fighting VS during prime time. Unless you are GOB or 60/40 overpop, your point hold or breach just get teared apart.
Im a relatively new player (~2years). My opinion as to why VS wins alerts is because Picard of R18 is just an awesome leader and he really motivates his men to lock in for alerts.
I always found that the reason vanu was "better" lines up with what you're saying. vanu weapons always seemed to me to be the ones easiest to get good at. so tryhards would see the kick on the NC weapons or the lack of damage from the TR weapons and then see other people having it "easier" on the vanu side and join it. then this compounding effect you mention, but let's be honest, if you're a tryhard, the NC's weapons ABSOLUTELY are the best for players that are skilled they have a much more rewarding skill ceiling, but who's going to switch back from their tryhard faction to the newb faction? especially if the moment you switch to NC you get ran over or pinged in the back of the head by an ally, or, heaven help you, you're on TR front getting farmed by a2g and NOONE is pulling g2a or a2a. that said, as an NC main I tend to stay on TR front. I would rather deal with a2g than 2 squads of tryhards embedded in 2 platoons of casuals.
I think you nailed it. I main Vanu but have recently been playing NSO, and a few things I have noticed. When I play Vanu, I never go ESF or MBT anymore, those used to be my primaries, the tanks get shredded now (was previously avoiding NC because of this but now that terran get that 4 shot gun I avoid it all together), ESF have felt dead for a while, the dog fights against NC are extremely difficult due to the vertical thrusters, and TR just run away with top speed Mosquitos, the air to ground game is just much more satisifying with the Banshee, it feels like a better version of the PPA that can also deal better against air (I have gotten several ppa kills with coyotes air v air). Long story short: When I play Vanu I am very particular on who I fight and where. On the flip side, with NSO I almost always get placed on NC and if not then TR, everyone is playing Vanu right now and to be honest, what I enjoy most about the game is going crazy on kills per minute and certs per hour. It is much more enjoyable to be on the lower popped servers because you always get in on alert maps and it is much easier to get crazy kills. As far as coordination, VS seems to be the most coordinated, and I have ran into 1 or 2 groups on TR that are very well coordinated and just last night an NC group that did a well coordinated MAX drop, being only 33% pop on a base and was able to turn it around and secure the base is no easy feat and not something that anyone can complain balance over. If you want to be good instead of complaining about balance, people should be working together more. As far as team work weapons: The NSO max can hold choke points like no other, and most of the time when huge armies clash, they fight over indoor small choke points that last forever.
I should note too, when I am on VS I have commander chat up, and I hear 2-3 platoons communicating almost at all times on where they will all coordinate to hit. On TR I don't have coms, but in platoons everyone seemed more try hard, and they would redeploy and galaxy drop more. And NC.... I don't hear any commander chat or platoon chat but instead would hear them complain the most on proximity chat raging in their MAX suits because no one is healing them...
Am I crazy to think that the NC have the worst ESF? The reaver feels slower and I can't hit anything, not to forget the hit box for the NC ESF is a fat box compared to the other ESF profiles.
@@Mord12gp I think nso have the worst :p haha but jokes aside you will get the hang of aiming. Why I personally think it is the best is because of the vertical thrusters and it's roll speed. You can maneuver I'm dogfights very well to the point where your opponents can't turn fast enough to shoot you. Also hit box doesn't mean anything, everyone who mains esf can quickly make the initial adjustment based on how much they are off target, the goal is to aim where they are going and if your bullets are behind you aim more ahead and if they are too far ahead you aim closer to the nose. You never aim at the hit box unless they are sitting still or you are on top of them. At that point you shouldn't miss anyway
In a head on scenario you aim above their head because most pilots rely on the vertical thrusters to maneuver. Some try to fake you out with Ctrl but you can adjust
@@DanceSC2 Yea I play on ps5 and mouse and keyboard don't work for some reason. No matter how I adjust my settings I either can't turn or I'm too slow. On ps5 and on montages I almost never see a reaver taking out 3 guys. The NC ESF main thing is thrust. What good is thrust in a meta that's all about being a light, hovering nimble, object in the sky. The reaver feels like a flying brick compared to other ESFs.
Did I miss the part where you gave us your theory on why they ARE overpowered? You mentioned the high alert win rate several times, dismissed a number of commonly stated opinions, and...what's your 2 cents?
Well he plays as Vanu, his point is that they're just better. Which honestly, they do tend to be better players, but that doesn't stop the faction from being the most broken and toxic one too.
I used to play VS (Emerald) because that’s where the fun squads were. Now VS is just pop dumping, and the other factions rarely have fun squads when I’m looking
fun squad? Look up Fish with Feet FWF or R18. They be doing the silliest things like single gunner Galaxy conquest the entire platoon pulls Galaxies can only have 1 gunner; OR deci heavy Sunde surprise where unsuspecting tanks try to prey on 2 sundes rolling to a base then suddenly 2 squads of Heavies pop out and decimate the tank to dust; OR MAX Lib bait ambush where a MAX just seems to be all alone and easy prey but 2 squads of heavies with Lancers lay cloaked by cloak sunde to any Lib that comes closer; OR coordinated lock-on where there could be 6 vehicles but everyone must lock on to the SAME vehicle for the heck of it for overkill I can only imagine the drivers face when they see 20+ rockets just for you.
There are alot of prowlers and vanguards that would say the magrider is OP. Its my favirote MBT out of all 4. Its a super flexible tank. but you have to utilize that flexibility to take out other MBTs.
In my playing experience since beta the main reason we shout "BS-VS" is because the VS are the most unfun to deal with, leaving the majority of TR & NC to prefer locking horns with each other, only acknowledging the VS when they show up & won't go away. The most trollish, "How can I ruin someone's day & make them feel worthless while I'm doing it" faction.
I play on Emerald myself. When I want to play with a more serious crew that wins almost every fight, I play Vanu. When I want to have a little more fun in the voice comms and do wacky tactics like getting everyone in the platoon in there own sky whale to just bomb them into a point but we still play to win, I play my TR. TR is also the only faction that I have played in years that I have actually heard people using command chat. As for the NC, I never hardly play them because even during the prime time, I never find a decent enough squad that has anything other than a low cohesion rating and for some reason, every time I hop in an outfit, they play and com like they are special forces but they are spread out on different sides of the map and never working together and just losing every single fight. And it is a shame because I want to play more because I like their equipment and guns more than the other factions.
Well, and, no bullet drop, and the Magrider being able to get places other tanks can't, including riding over water, and strafe side to side to avoid missiles, and even long range shots from other tanks...
I'm a VANU player on the emerald server. And I don't play to increase my KD, I play to earn alerts. And I don't use vehicles because vanu vehicles suck. The light fighter is very unstable and the magrider, despite its mobility, depends on terrain, luck and skill. The main tanks of other factions are not dependent on as many factors.
I play vanu and tr on miller, I probably do 2-3 alerts a day depending on what I have going on in RL but from what I see it's a 55/45 split vanu-tr on alert wins. There are to many variables to determine why a faction wins more alerts, half the time I play tr all the platoons are non voice lead which will hurt that faction if there are more new players playing that faction at the time. I'm fairly decent at FPS games but still a novice at ps2 when it comes to vehicles and reading the map so having a pro leader on Comms who can read the map and spot weak points at the right time really can help the faction win rates especially when there are more new players or amateur players playing in the platoon. Anything about weapons being op is kinda false imo, if you know how to use your loadout effectively then to new players or not as good players it's going to seem op to them. The only thing I will say is semi auto snipers with high rpm can be a pain in the arse to fight against if the user is a god with controlling recoil etc, but I would say the player is op not the weapon lol.
Back when I first played in like 2015 I chose Vanu because they were purple and purple is cool, still play on the same character today for that reason. I do only have 250 hours, super casual
"vanu wins therefore they are overpowered" I mean someone has to be on top but I dont think the difference is enough to say a faction is "overpowered" just above average better than others. OP basically implies they need nerfs which they dont. No VS weapon is better than other factions equivalents so I think its the wrong term to use.
Give vanu a good tank and they'll start losing alerts. They should just add a medium tank category, make the mag the medium tank, give vanu a heavy tank, and give tr and nc a medium tank. Boom, done.
I feel like you lose a bit of credibility in claiming Vanu isn't OP for various reasons, when you almost always play Vanu. Never see you play NC, and rarely TR. It's very well known that when you only play one faction you feel like it's less powerful (or not OP) than the other factions.
I play all factions and its true vanu isnt OP. I can one or 2 shot people with most NC weapons even sidearms like mag scatter. People who struggle against Vanu are just noobs
@@KevinsArmory Funny, because at the moment, VS is winning most of the time on most server according to PS2 alert. So what ? Everyone is bad except the Vanu players ? Or is there a problem with the balance ? If it occurs on most servers at once, I'd say it's a balance problem but maybe thats just me
@@moreauclement9702 It is definetly a balance problem, statistics don't lie, a faction that is shitstomping in all servers all alerts has clearly some balance issues. The rest are just cope lies and trying to hide that.
Imho vanu guns are the easiest to wield/aim with while nc are the hardest due to recoil. I have double eagled my nc character and single eagled my vs, my kda in nc is roughly 1.7 and 2.0 on my vs character.
nc is powerful in terms of number, tr is a mix of player number and skill, and vs in terms of tactics. I find vanu really good in terms of strategy and tactics and player skill aswell
Here is how the BG is op. They don't need to EVER worry about ammo or bullet drop. They can counter headglitchers all day and never need an engi or the ammo printer implant. That frees up an implant that other factions can't. If they never have to choose between ammo printer or find a safe time to reload, its op. They just stop firing and they are set. Notice you NEVER see nc use their directive LMG. Wonder why, maybe its because the BG simply beats it. The godsaw just has the gimmick of tickling armor.
Never worry about ammo? But you say just stop firing, sounds like worrying about ammo to me, I would rather have 300 bullet mag now THAT is stupid OP and I seen streamers clear an entire Nasons tunnel solo with just 1 magazine. Out of ammo, 900 bullets aint enough till you find a random box laying on the ground? Bullet drop, who are trying to kid here, trying to use an LMG as a sniper? Bullet drop on ALL LMGs does not matter because it is not meant to be used as a sniper.
Another factor why VS wins is because TR and NC are helbend on hitting their heads against a wall while VS is taking everything in the back, even if the amount of VS could be easely countered if they shifted focus and spread out their defences instead of having the entire population in 1 unfun giga battle. You can realy see that PS2 clan leaders don't play strategy games.
mh, on our realm, Miller. I joint the Vanu 2015/16, simply becaue they are sci-fi- The main reason, why we win most of the primetime for many years now, is simply Dignity of War DiG, the clan. They are true Vanu, parish the none believers^^. They only focus on win. No zerk no frondline. Simply try to have the upper hand, when time is over.
As a person who has passed GODSAW, Butcher, Betlgeise - I can say with confidence that none of these LMG is the best weapon. VS had the heaviest LMG branch for me. Initially, I liked the alpha damage NC the most. To be honest, I like him now, but at the moment I'm playing for VS, just because playing for NC is boring. Most of the time their percentage of the population is the highest. ESF VS do not have good basic anti-personnel weapons. Banshee and airhammer NC are several times better than Light PPA. It is unlikely that you will be able to defeat Prowler or Avangard in a direct collision by driving a Magrider. MAX VS won't blow your head off with 1 volley like MAX NC. Yes, VS doesn't have bullets falling, but does it really matter when almost all the fights are for points located in buildings? VS can't bring down a continuous hail of bullets like TR. They can't boast of good alpha damage like NC. But VS has slightly better accuracy at its disposal. All these features make you aim better and ride the equipment more thoughtfully, which in general increases the average skill of players per VS, increasing the chance of their victories. You can call VS OP, but no one stops you from playing for VS to feel strong.
This is my logic: Vanu has crutch mechanics like maggies not roadkilling friendlies and no bullet drop to ease in noobies Therefore it's hard mode at high levels and easy mode at lower ones Therefore to be a good player as vanu you have to compensate for those loss of potential (other factions have lower ttk) Therefore if you are good you already outclassed similar performance (not skill) players from enemy faction Therefore vanu best faction Idk if that makes sense. But basically limiting factors make the game harder later in, and if you have same performance as a TR for ex, it means you have more skill.
VS has easier and more practical weapons for beginners. The MSW-R while it always had soft point ammunition, the Orion has a straight pull-down vertical recoil to compensate for. For a pro-player, this makes the Orion more consistent. The NC6 Gauss SAW was the most difficult weapon because missing shots lowers your DPS much more than the Orion or MSW-R and really needs head shots to compete in a showdown. The advantage of the SAW is that it is more versatile. You can put a suppressor on and still do high damage while having a laser sight on. That is why they nerfed the damage range and removed the Advanced Forward Grip because it was over-tuned to the point it was too versatile and a pro player could have a lot of versatility or go for maximum accuracy. I wouldn't say the VS are overpowered but they might be better overall for people who can't handle strong recoil and slow fire rate. The Pulsar VS1 is a easy support weapon, nothing strong in damage output, just a medium range weapon to support the heavy assault. The beginner can just aim at the chest and mild recoil is easy to recover after each burst. It has neither high vertical recoil, strong horizontal recoil, or too slow of a fire rate. Horizontal recoil is usually the complaint of the TR while high vertical recoil was usually the complaint of the NC.
Very good video. When ESF got buffed I could tell the types of game play available was going to be more open, likewise the rocket lock on buff is good. I think the balance is close to perfect but VS needs in
Im playing VS because of interesting mechanics, if i wanted to play NC i download battlefield, but VS has Lasher, Anti-Grav tanks, no bullet drop, thats all interesting, because in usual situation you losing to other faction, you start winning only if you use benefits of all your equipment and playing in at least "chat organised" squad. while TR and NC creates tank colums with "trench wars" with two walls of tank, vanu climbs in the mountains and flank the enemy, your aphelion is lame until you start to shoot it with rhythm, anti tank waves from aphellion gives you opportunity to kill volcano harassers, or killing engies who hidden behind sundy and repairs it, because aphellion waves goes through vehicles to hit infantry behind it, on my opinion, not objective, just my opinion, TR is mostly "Traditional" faction, if you want experience of modern shooter with mostly classical mechanics from Battlefield as example, TR is your choice, NC is skill based, your weapon is like a bunch of bricks but this bricks could send everyone to hell with 1 shot, and yes, im a fan of blue and yellow guys who wants freedom over oppression, with atmosphere of resistance fighting, and Vanu feels for me most comfortable and unusual faction, its like more...mind-faction, while TR and NC need more of a good skills at shooting, Vanu needs to be more tactic and elastic-minded, NC could go with a tank or max wall, TR will destroy you with all of their firepower, but Vanu maggie could fly over water, go to your back and destroy you in a sec, or using turbo to momentary "run" from enemy tank shells and keeping distance to shoot from extremely long ranges, but as i said, its only my opinion, i believe theres could be same guys from TR and NC who could tell incredible story, similar to this, but about their faction's
Vanu has a few overpowered weapons. Betelguese still stands out as the most egregious. The Horizon is also stealthily the best carbine in the game, if you know how to use it which most people don't. But other than a few standouts, VS weapons feel worse than TR weapons and definitely NC weapons. NC has the best guns by far. But Vanu has a Magrider, the most survivable tank which can dodge your shots easily, then sit on top of a mountain, or get inside a base.
The Gauss SAW is the best LMG in the game still, but that doesn't mean the Betelguese isn't still a problem. Betelguese needs to be taken down a few notches, and the rest of their arsenal needs to be taken up a few notches.
It’s almost hard to believe… Folks really believe such (fwiw Higby was an NC main) On one hand you don’t get to face a max who really just needs to see you and look in your direction Meaning you get good or die trying Game is almost long in the tooth But it’s hard to believe one faction has the ability to damage armor w/ a rifle TR has had some nice stuff too But it’s all been nerfed lol Almost feel bad for an NC who loses a harasser battle to another harasser (Vulcan was fun for a min tho)
It's honestly more fun fighting TR as NC and NC as TR... VS are just bland, boring and annoying to fight against. I really don't care losing to TR/NC because it's really fun working around the gimmicks interacting with each other. I don't like VS because their projectiles hurts my eyes, annoying infiltrators that blend so well in the dark without stealth on, and MAXes that aren't fun to deal with when I'm going to lose my eyesight looking at him shooting those bright plasma crap.
Again 2:00 you trolling :D? i wonder did you ever played the game? magrider eats prowlers for lunch 2x turbo bidirectional thrusters u just go behind him and shoot his ass, not mentioning mag is only tank with gun stabilisation due to hovering type of suspension. Now with new weapon u can snipe not moving prowlers or anochred one dealing almost 45% per charged shoot, prowler cannot shoot and move really he need enable anchor mode to snipe from far and you get perfect counter weapon for that.
Of course, that's why only 2 brigades on all servers reached 3rd place at most. It was at Emerald and Miller if I'm not mistaken. That is why they live nerfing NC weapons like the JackHammer to give an example. How many times did the NC and VS weapons nerf in 10 years? Of course, since they are weaker NC weapons, they nerf them more often to balance, right?🤣🤣🤣🤣
I argue Vanu is stronger because their weapons are easier to use. The easier weapons allow for less experienced players to compete with slightly more experienced players just based on how easy their weapons are to use. The average player is just much more effective thanks to the easy weapons of Vanu. Of course, these easy weapons are a downside in competetive Planetside 2 as hardcore players have mastered their aim and don't need easy weapons, they need high dps and effective weapons, often found on NC and TR. This may be considered a point against the theory that the other 2/3rds of the players, NC and TR, are just less skilled, but you could also say that the best NC and TR don't play the main gamemode, but that claim lacks data. Also, Planetside 2 is quite a mentally taxing game that lacks breaks if you often participate in major fights. As a fight goes on and reaches that extremelly common stalemate, the less mentally taxing weapons on Vanu allow their players to continue being effective without being stressed out. This may be why data shows that VS win more during prime hours. Sure this doesn't make a major individual difference, but multiply that by a 100 players and it starts to matter. Less mentally taxing weapons is potentially an explination for why Vanu win more the during higher play count hours. I feel like fatigue is strangely not mentioned in conversations, but honestly it's probably because there is no way to test for it. Sure NC is probably the best if you can control the recoil, but expecting players to always be playing at their best is unrealistic, so easy guns rein supreme. I find the argument that NC and TR, the other 2/3rds of the players playing the game, are just mostly worse/less organised players unconvincing. VS win more on almost all servers, that would be one hell of a coincidence. Even if you don't think it is a coincidence, I find most players stick with their first faction and most players don't initially choose the "best" faction (obviously), so there should be equal veterns in all factions with very slight differences resulting in minimal Alert win rate differences, but its not the case.
Want a answer to what makes the vanu good ? NC weapons rather hit the pigeon in the sky before hitting the intended guy TR has rate of fire but the spread and and fact you run out of bullets fast means your caught in the screen of someone killing you as you reload . Vanu on the other hand is stable on ttk not as strong as NC but they don’t need that and not as fast as TR either but the range and drop off is not only insane they don’t recoil. Vanu weapons are so consistent they practically give and feed you headshots which in turn has you saying why play another faction when you literally got a headshot multiplayer constantly that shuts down the ttk of the other factions?
Every fight in this game are pretty much CQB so the recoil or the spread of TR and NC are not a factor. The sniper rifles and dmr are pretty much dogshit on VS compare to the hitscan TR on and the NC with insane dmg. Except our auraxium weapon, i assure you we dont win in any argument because we do everything mediumly and cant play around a strong point like NC headshot ttk or TR rate of fire ttk. We are just build different and love difficulty
the reason why vanu wins on emerald is because they team with nc against tr... all the time. you will constantly see all the population on the tr fronts
That would be because TR has all the people that have been touched in naughty places by Vanu soldiers so TR is always on the Vanu fronts no matter WHO is winning. Meanwhile NC are just spawn freeloaders, if their sundes on TR side they fight TR, if their sundes on VS side they fight VS. Neither NC or TR fight on a front strategically to win.
The Gausa SAW is good?? No! Its heav, has slow rate of fire, has high recoil and a high spread. The Betelgeuse has nothing from all of those disadvantages, and no bulletdrop because its a vanu weapon.
it is silly really to give one faction no bulletdrop flying heavy tanks and the best esf in the game and be suprised that people think it,s unbalanced there is a saying in planetside for a reason Vanu is easymode
I disagree been playing on Cobalt for a long time and the Scythes, Magriders always dominated battlefield, only Mosquitos sometimes i see them beating Scythes. Also on Cobalt most of the alerts are won by Vanu at least 10-20 times in a row, even in lower pop and lower player count in one sector they absolutely destroy TR and manage NC. Vanu are extremely overpowered their pro completely overshadow their cons, some people like me just avoid VS all together, for me it's just blue vs red. Also while your points are completely valid i do not really take them completely serious since you are a Vanu, all Vanu always and always and always negate VS overpower. Also my K/D is : 1.3 on TR 2.7 on NC and 4.4 on Vanu. Just saying.
On Connery it's which faction the hackers are on that win the alerts. And I've noticed they tend to gravitate to TR or VS but never NC for some reason.
i get shredded by these soulless veteran players. how about you all stop after all these years? | the only way to survive for me is to join a war train as a medic and dont let me start talking about flying
Game kinda gets boring after a while, only really good between 5-10pm weekdays and then you have to deal with the server spergs kicking you from pub platoons. Think I'll go back to ARK.
when y shot people with a shotgun at 0.2m from someon he dos not die even with headshot because armor when a vanu shot 2 bullet at my head with a automatic rife from 450~800m away y die when y shot a Red man with a gun he has the time to kill me my friend and my other friend with 1 gun bullet load when toke 4 man and 3 relaod to kill him maybe we are reeealy bad but it dos feel like some Faction have wayyyyyyyy beter weapon (my Kill time (time betwen wen y shot and kill someon) is Wayyyyyyyyyyyy beter in Vanu then Red the blue
There isn't one big reason, but many smaller ones. The darker camo, the somewhat better starting weapons, the more infantry focused platoons and 100 other factors. No one thing makes the Vs stronger.
Vanu have weapons with no recoil and no ammo. You just hold the button down; its a one button win, no skill necessary, so they can get a bunch of new players and still run through everything
Used to think the same before i played the faction. TR weps have less recoil then alot of VS weps, and NC gets upgrades to reduce their recoil. VS, not so much, at least on their lmgs.
@@Seekerz3996 even with recoil upgrades the bullet patterns on NC are nowhere near as straightforward and linear as VS, it feels so cheap I can't even play it without feeling cheesy
I play on Miller and it's quite funny how there's a bunch of TR outfits and players who have a Russian flag as their decal, while Vanu has more Ukrainian flags. Vanu based once again, and Miller TR is just sweaty Russians xd
Vanu top guns are also trash compared to other top guns which further discentives VS from playing vehicles. Aphelion requires you to use the discharge mode as often as possible because for some reason it provides higher DPS than just holding fire, most players are not even aware of that feature and so people do not play with aphelion because random gunners won't use it properly. Ground vehicle PPA is just SHIT, I do not think I need to say more. Saron is the only top gun worth using but it is still not exactly better than halberd so other factions do not lose much not having access to saron. Pariah is a good gun but it is not distcinct enough from basilisk to have big enough impact.

NC emerald brit, i couldn't agree more. TR give great fights Most of the time whilst fighting vanu is cancer.
Even on PS4 Planetside 2 nobody liked fighting VS. They're just generally uninteresting to fight and often incredibly annoying.
I've literally never had any issues spotting VS. also, you don't need to do a "half second double take" to see if it's an enemy, because (unless this was patched out since I played for some reason) the game literally puts an arrow above the heads of your allies, so if you see someone who doesn't have that arrow, they're *probably* an enemy.
when i first started playing and didnt have shadows off it was EXTREMELY difficult to see vanu at night especially @@willywillington9252
I was in a massive armor column the other day, and the colossus tank I was in got absolutely melted by about 20 VS sundries... 😅
VS on Connery is the worst faction. Worst at alerts and can only win by double teaming the TR and hoping TR takes NC territory instead.
As NC I die😂😂😂😂
Plasma technologies = plasma needs a working fluid = ammunition is still needed)
At the same time, almost all weapons on the VS have excellent recoil characteristics.

Hahahaha my first thought as well
I never thought about the Infantry Vehicle point before.

3.- Ask for help on TR squad chat
[You] "Guys i need repairs to push the VS"
[Squad] "Okay if you go Max nobody its going to repair you thats your problem"
@@Mord12gp nso main (ex tr) NC has great air game especially on emerald. Reaver pilots are a menace to society.
A big deal on VS weapons isn't the stats but easy of use, it's hugely underrated. New players are so much more effective on VS .. maybe

I always found tr weapons easiest to use personally. That said i play vanu because only a degenerate scum would wear a red or blue shirt.
making the vanoob cry at their warpgate was always fun lolol
A fun statistic I remember was back in 2015, they had the average age of players for the different factions. NC was 15, TR was 16 and VS was 21. Yeah that's a hell of a jump.
First time hearing that lmao
i didnt know but iam not suprised.
It's because since the beginning both TR and vanu have been geared towards having overpowered individual players and catering to them.

The problem with the Vanu Sovereignty on PlayStation is, they’re lucky to have 25% of the population. It’s always an uphill battle.
Yup
Idk, I feel like I clown VS but specifically NC causes major problems for me. They have so many easy to use effective weapons for close to mid range, where most of the fighting happens.
basically opposite for me, but i take bolty close range for NC, maybe give that a try?
@@hckr_-gh7se I run TR.
It also probably doesn't help that I play nothing but infoltrator, so one shotting me is very easy.
Vanu has several leaders who are cults of personality, I personally got tired of a lack of platoons on the NC front. I was hardcore NC, she was my first love, but the dismal performance of the average NC player is demoralizing.
I was actually really suprised to hear NC doesn't have public platoons, I assumed they would have the most.
@@ZealousVidya There are a lot of public potentials, but the leadership and skills of individuals is lacking
Im confused i thought that gauss saw was nerfed to not be able to three shot headshot anymore.
So the SAW 3 shot headshot is OP but other 167 damage weapons 3 shot headshot isn't OP?
@@abotaccount6094 what other 167 damage weapons
@ASDFGHJKL Ok but this guy is differentiating between the Saw and the Guise. Ive yet to see a weapon called the guise on NC.
@ASDFGHJKL Thats what im saying the dude said Guise nerf which is confusing me
Im a relatively new player (~2years).

*tr mosquito has entered the chat*
On primetime, its the impact of DiG, thats for sure. The 3-4 raids all coordinated making the difference.
Back when I first played in like 2015 I chose Vanu because they were purple and purple is cool, still play on the same character today for that reason. I do only have 250 hours, super casual
I really feel like this is different on console then pc because from my experience NC always wins the alerts
Vanu guns are night and day difference, and the black camos help with hiding.
I ALWAYS feel outgunned on foot by the two other factions. My guns feel like they just never kill.
"vanu wins therefore they are overpowered"
I mean someone has to be on top but I dont think the difference is enough to say a faction is "overpowered" just above average better than others.

Isn't there bias in your skill development on nc? Or Im wrong and you bring KDA from recent months for both fractions
nc is powerful in terms of number, tr is a mix of player number and skill, and vs in terms of tactics.
Vanu has no recoil (almost) and ballistics.Thats why they are overpowered and their army of spandex gachi infiltrators
Another factor why VS wins is because TR and NC are helbend on hitting their heads against a wall while VS is taking everything in the back, even if the amount of VS could be easely countered if they shifted focus and spread out their defences instead of having the entire population in 1 unfun giga battle. You can realy see that PS2 clan leaders don't play strategy games.
that “1 unfun giga battle” is the core gameplay loop lmao not strategy
also a singular player no matter how god they are can"t beat a army of cordinated people
What armor did you use in the thumbnail of this video?
mh, on our realm, Miller.
On emerald I see VS wins overnight and NC during prime time. NC always has the population in prime time.
This is my logic:
Vanu has crutch mechanics like maggies not roadkilling friendlies and no bullet drop to ease in noobies
Therefore it's hard mode at high levels and easy mode at lower ones
Therefore to be a good player as vanu you have to compensate for those loss of potential (other factions have lower ttk)
Therefore if you are good you already outclassed similar performance (not skill) players from enemy faction
Therefore vanu best faction
Idk if that makes sense. But basically limiting factors make the game harder later in, and if you have same performance as a TR for ex, it means you have more skill.
Who gives a fuck about bullet drop. Literally doesn't even matter in 90% of engagements. Giant non factor
The best faction is clearly NSO with their OP weapons and infiltrators
Maybe some day I will watch "why TR is OP" :D
I mean I play vanu and I think that the the two factions we are against are equaly crushing us.
bro this looks like wow 2005 vanilla graphics
It’s almost hard to believe… Folks really believe such (fwiw Higby was an NC main) On one hand you don’t get to face a max who really just needs to see you and look in your direction Meaning you get good or die trying Game is almost long in the tooth But it’s hard to believe one faction has the ability to damage armor w/ a rifle TR has had some nice stuff too But it’s all been nerfed lol Almost feel bad for an NC who loses a harasser battle to another harasser (Vulcan was fun for a min tho)
i thought they removed nanowave armor but isnt it back again?
Even if you don't think it is a coincidence, I find most players stick with their first faction and most players don't initially choose the "best" faction (obviously), so there should be equal veterns in all factions with very slight differences resulting in minimal Alert win rate differences, but its not the case.
whenever you bring this up in chat: VS Player: but you have prowler.....-__-
-and yes the betelgeuce is OP asf. Literally every VS plays it
Want a answer to what makes the vanu good ?
Lets be honest vs win more becouse no one like to play against them xD
*Subscribed* Greetings from CronosFox! 🙂
I play on Miller and almost every time the NC wins the alerts
NC leadership on Miller, enough said.
@@gentlerain3245 nah they win based on a ton of players
i play the 3 factions and Vanu gun and just waaaaaaay easier to control therefore get kills on
vanu weps are very good they just feel boring
On Connery it's which faction the hackers are on that win the alerts. And I've noticed they tend to gravitate to TR or VS but never NC for some reason.
Its hard to see them atnight 😅
Obviously its the skin tight spandex
All good assessments, I like this video.
On Connery, the VS suck.
i get shredded by these soulless veteran players. how about you all stop after all these years? | the only way to survive for me is to join a war train as a medic and dont let me start talking about flying
Game kinda gets boring after a while, only really good between 5-10pm weekdays and then you have to deal with the server spergs kicking you from pub platoons. Think I'll go back to ARK.
when y shot people with a shotgun at 0.2m from someon he dos not die even with headshot because armor when a vanu shot 2 bullet at my head with a automatic rife from 450~800m away y die
when y shot a Red man with a gun he has the time to kill me my friend and my other friend with 1 gun bullet load when toke 4 man and 3 relaod to kill him
maybe we are reeealy bad but it dos feel like some Faction have wayyyyyyyy beter weapon
(my Kill time (time betwen wen y shot and kill someon) is Wayyyyyyyyyyyy beter in Vanu then Red the blue
There isn't one big reason, but many smaller ones. The darker camo, the somewhat better starting weapons, the more infantry focused platoons and 100 other factors. No one thing makes the Vs stronger.
VS is OP because they're hard to see. :[
NSO is REALLY suck.
Vanu have weapons with no recoil and no ammo. You just hold the button down; its a one button win, no skill necessary, so they can get a bunch of new players and still run through everything
Cope
@@seriphan399 nah, that's reality. Doesn't mean NC doesn't have better guns, but vanu has a much lower skill cap
@@FraterOculus Never used the promise or anchor before eh?
Why do so many good players like such dumb looking guns?
Why Vanu is overpowered? They have all the hackers.
