      I use the dolly forward and backwards with the subject centered & balanced on a wide lens all the time! It's my love for Wes Anderson that drives that one!

      that one take was awesome. Hey any thoughts on the new DJI Ronin S? I heard it might be under $1k?

    • @WoodWorkLIFE
      @WoodWorkLIFE 6 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Keep it up man, I like the direction you are going. You and Peter should have a cinematic shot off! See who can make a more cinematic shot of a few plain old scenes. Similar to what he did with the product photography. P.S. If you ever want the opportunity to shoot a woodworking build project and give us makers a lesson on how to shoot it. Let me know I would love to pick your brain and collaborate.

    Sometime is it hard to get smooth recordings. Like when you just have to turn the gimble a litle. Then it turns fast and stop. So you dont get that smooth movement. Testing to just use the joystick now. Anyone doing like that?

      Just Maintain a constant distance from the subject and change focus before every shot. And also Plan your shots with Manual Focus in Mind.
      Maybe Narrow that aperture a little too?

    • @TyroneLT

    I think the most important question is the fps you were shooting. Did you shoot at 24fps or 30fps? 60fps? I tried shooting at 24fps but it was too shaky but I was aiming for that cinematic looks but the gimbal was still a bit shaky.

  • @KasttingClinic
    @KasttingClinic 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    What setting u shot for man walking on the bridge? Shot 4k 60fps then slow at post production OR shot 4k 120fps?

  • @JosephWilsonProductions
    @JosephWilsonProductions 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just have one question Matti. Did you hang onto the truck door till he stopped, or did you set the gimbal down on the seat then open the the truck door to get in? Don't see how you did it in one take unless you edited part of the sequence out... just saying it is bugging me and I got to know.. Thanks for the video... I just got the FeiyuTech AK2000s and am excited to go try it out.,..🤔

    What focus will you use manual or auto all the time in camera?

  • @NikosRentas
    @NikosRentas 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ya man... I got the long arm and it helps. You need to play with the motor for the shots. When you flip the camera it almost feels like it's taking a load of the one motor and all on to the other. So depending on the weight of the camera you need to adjust for certain shots

    Hi! I,m new into foto & video, I've got a 35mm Sigma Art 1.4 and 90mm Sony Macro lens at the moment. What lenses do you use most for video? - What wide should I go for? You talk about widelens, what mm should I go for? I looked at SAMYANG AF 24MM 2,8 SONY E - or should I go for Samyang AF 14mm f/2,8 till Sony FE or maybe they aren't for video?
