Awesome video ! I have two number col and they are "Total minutes", "Completed minutes" and a formulae field i.e. "Remaining minutes" i got the sum total of all the three col listed. Let's just assume that i had col 1 total as 200 min which is "Total minutes" and then "completed minutes" total as 18, so how do i show that "91%" of work is left ? Hi Danny. I have a table with student names and 4 columns of notes. How do I apply a formula that calculates the average of the grades and in another column, a check box that informs if the student was approved or not?

How to add serial no.s - I am making a reading list where I want to get automatic serial no. (For eg: not manually typing - okay #1 then #2 in each row alongside my book names
adding an automatic count is not possible in Notion to my knowledge. For a formula to work you would need a relation to the previous entry, then rollup the number and use a formula to add on but there is a bug that stops that at 7 😡 has been there for 6+months. Currently it is just adding the number manually 🤷♂️ not great I know!

Yes formulas a row specific. You could use table view calculations but by the sound of it you will need to relate all the pages to a single page either in the same database or another and do the calculation in the rollup that way. Or in a formula 🤷♂️
I am trying to figure out the following: I have two DBs, one for content campaigns, and one for the individual pieces of content that comprise the campaign. Hi. Can you help me with this formula? I am trying to use 2 different P&L formula depending on the property condition. However, it doesn't work. Here's what it looks like: if(equal(prop("Position"),"LONG",(prop("Close") - prop("Open")) * prop("Units"), if(equal(prop("Position"),"SHORT",(prop("Open") - prop("Close")) * prop("Units")
Without knowing the input properties and data restrictions along with the output expectation from this formula I can't really help that much. You are more than welcome to contact elsewhere or book a call with me so we can go over this in more detail 😁
@@DannyHatcherTech it pertains to my trade journal. The "Position" property includes "LONG" and "SHORT" options. My expected output is the profit and loss property. Doing sums for columns is either at the bottom of a table view, or when configuring a relation rollup calculation. It is easier to use a spreadsheet a lot of the time.
