      +pistolpeta I sure hope so, figured it's worth the extra coin especially when it's an atf tax stamp involved

    Bummer...I was thinking of getting centerfire can from them. I have a B22 and am pretty pleased with it. I live close to their shop and actually got a call back and face-to-face time (after several calls) for them to look at my baffles, which they just swapped out on the spot. They are definitly not setup for customer service though. I think one part time guy is fielding all the calls. Your review is the only negative review I've seen which was tastefully done by the way. Thanks for saving me some dB's. Sorry you are stuck with a lame can!

      And I may just have a bum can man, I dont know whats up with it.
      Just wish i would had saved the money and purchased a better can.
      Ive heard good stuff from their .22 cans though.

    Sorry to hear about your can. Saw your thread on silencertalk. If you're interested in getting a better 762 can but don't have the funds, there's another Austin company called Capitol Armory that has prices really close to silencer shop.
    But the difference is that they do "easy pay." basically you pay the NFA stamp & any sales tax up front & then you pay off the can in 4 monthly installments. I've purchased from both silencer shop & Capitol armory & they're all good people.

      Oh yeah? Never heard of them.
      Just had such good service from silencershop that I never looked back.
      Thats a pretty cool installment plan they've got, hmmm...
      haha, thanks for the talk brotha!

      ***** Capitol Armory is EXCELLENT. In my case for my YHM M2 QD, they beat Silencer Shop by $90 and had everything mailed out within 2 hours of me paying for it,

    Hey, but they gave you an oven mitt! Sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. I bought a top shelf Gemtech Quicksand. And it works great. Lesson learned, a few dollars saved on an off brand NFA devise is not always money saved. Been there, done that.

      @pistolpeta  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      haha silencershop gave me the mitt, HTA gave me SHEEP!
      yeah next time I go to make a long term purchase, you come with me eh? haha

    OT, but where did you get the aluminum Christmas tree? I have been looking for one for years and can't find one. Sorry to hear you didn't like the can. Thanks for the review. I was going to get the same in 5.56. I think I'll go with Silencer Tech for $100 more. I had the same problem with customer service. Would never call me back.

      Dude, Im glad this helped someone!
      Save for a better can, honestly, $100 is nothing compared to what one can pay to rebaffle the crap outta that thing.

      Yeah, Thanks. I have decided to go with a Liberty can, and it will likely be the Torch if they don't say .204 Ruger will wear it prematurely. I have sent them an email on that since it's not rated for SBR's. It might not be able to withstand the extra hot gasses of the .204. If It won't I'll step up to the Triumph.

      Atta boy, at this point, if they even reply to your message, they beat out HTA haha

    I can't post a link to mine, but I've got a video of it on the 16" also on an AK with not so great results.

      dang, actually doesnt sound half bad.
      Ill get a vid of mine up sometime.
      Idk, it might be cause your barrel is twice the length of mine as to why yours sounds better.
      heres your video...

      I'll get a video of it on the 8". It's a bit louder, I've been avoiding it because it has a Sigtac forearm brace on it and I don't want to make a video of me holding it " improperly".

    • @pistolpeta
      @pistolpeta  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      pshh, never heard of holding it improperly.
      ;)

    thx for sharing. I will avoid.
    just curious, did you ever try alternating the baffels w/ each one w/ the side hole 180 degrees from the next?

    • @pistolpeta

      +John Smith Yeah, I tried everything except running it wet, never plan on doing that with any suppressor anyways.
      I havent any experience with their newer suppressors but to this very day, I have attempted to contact HTA through Email and calling and leaving messages (they never pick up) and I havent got a single reply, this is spanning the past 3 years now? Even when I contacted them about an upgrade the three times I did, never heard back from them.
      That, is why I warn anyone looking to get a cheap suppressor from them.

    I have three Kestrels, 5.56, AK & .308. Its been a long road getting them to work at an acceptable performance level. I have the upgraded version, which is quite a bit stronger than these. I do not recommend HTA but if you have one already here's some things you can do to improve them th-cam.com/video/I93rYnL-pPM/w-d-xo.html. Especially to improve the subsonic 300blk performance.

    Do you have any videos of it on the gun? I have the same can that I use on a 8" and a 16" Blackout. It doesn't seem to do the best job.
