It makes perfect sense to me to try the used water pump instead of buying a new one, until you could confirm that it was going to work. Us farmers have a shoe string budget to work with anyway and while it's good to have extra parts when needed, the goal is only spend the hard earned money when it's necessary. Enjoy what your doing and got some chuckles out of your some of your comments. Thanks for the fun, I hope you have a nice weekend!
Great video as always. I tell ya, we are gonna have to change the route of that struggle bus so he doesn't stop by your place every day. Glad you got the 1250 running, it sounds like a sweet runner.
Ross, back in the day, (according to my understanding), when tool manufacturers knew how to make solid tools, they needed to a way to sell "specialty" tools. At least this is one of the theories I've been told over the years. Unless I'm mistaken, these older water pumps were easily rebuilt so, get a rebuild kit.
Well, Ross, it looks like she’s really coming together. Yeah the water pump is a setback but holy Kanootson look at the progress you have made! You’re a genius when it comes to this stuff! But you’re like me I’m the sense that you work with what you got! One thing though m I do hope you change your mind on removing the sheet metal stickers that the previous owner added. I think they add character and make YOUR 1250 stand out from other 1250s. But that’s just the ramblings of a girl who has had 4 barley pops lol. Have a great day, Ross!
After all the animal noises and spaghetti sadness and conglomeration of parts when it starts up that first time one can realize how worth the journey the whole project, every project really is.
Success I knew you could do it just a few bugs too work out that's the usual for starting from the seat that's nothing just a inconvenience just think of it as a high quality theft device you could patent it and sell it as Rosses security system lol
I hope nobody that works for the epa watch's your videos I have no room to talk I use to dump used oil along the rode to keep the dust done Luther channels use pig matte an all that trying to make it look good
Ross has brought another one back from the brink of no longer existing 👌🏻#mint
Making headway slow and steady. I'm thinking it's going to be awesome. Thanks for the video. Glad to see it running. See you later.
Ross you do some great work on them tractors. Thanks for sharing.

Ross, I heard you say when you started that you didn't want to buy a new water pump until you knew the motor would run. Thanks Michael

Been waiting for this one! Lol
You need to order about 10 switches at a time and then say a prayer. Maybe 1 out of 10.
