+Max16032 Funny.. I am using this as the only cdj I've ever had, but it is also something that crossed my mind.. like being on time is like idk.. more simple on a psychical button
Hi, i'm just about to purchase some pioneer xdj700's. I've been hearing that serato dj will not work with these decks which has confused me. Surely if I use my rane sl2, I will be able to dj using these decks with the time code on a usb? Can you confirm this for me please?
Idk if you found an answer to your question but I’ll answer anyway. Most Pioneer kit and multimedia decks can only read FAT32 formatted storage devices. I don’t think you can get portable hardrives that can be formatted to FAT32. Best bet is to buy a FAT32 USB stick. A quick google search should give you results :) P.S don’t do what I did when I first got CDJs and download a tool to format any USB to FAT32. The hardware (USB) isn’t made for it so weird shit starts to happen after a while. I remember at a party I kept being put on a emergency loop because I had a cheap amazon USB that wasn’t made to be formatted to FAT32 but I formatted it to FAT32 anyway with a tool I found online... big mistake Ahahaha
@@josephbentley826 hey thanks fore reply> i used to have a numark dds media player. i can attach a keyboard for typing songs and two extra usb ports for music acces . was great and it was able to read music files from my 2t portable hard drive . where as units like this pioneer xdj700can only read from usb flash drive that only hold 64 gig at most
@@tyrone4uentertainment45 oh shittt, I ordered a pair of XDJ 700s last week and waiting for them to arrive. Think my USB is about 129GB. Hopefully it works with them!
Best explained video ever!
Huge thanks
4 years later now available for £599.00 did something change on the unit?
It's a shame they had to remove the physical hot cue buttons. The on-screen buttons may be responsive, but it's not the same.

Does it support Serato DJ?
Can you link it to 4 channel mixer?
Yes I have it on my Pioneer A9
can you change the time so it counts up as well as counting down like you can on cdj's
Can anyone help me out here? I'm wondering what's a better setup - 2X Pioneer Xdj 700 with a Pioneer CDJ 800 mixer? or a Denon Prime 4 plus?
