You do realise glitchless doesnt mean its intended? You are making clown of yourself presentkng yourself as someone who knows what glitched, glitchless and other categories are and what the rulesets are. In fact almost every game have different ruleset for glitchless and its up to community who runs to decide them. Someone who cant make that distinction has no value here commenting.

Really would like to know the reason they included the save crystals in the PS1 version. Back then I was so happy to see free saving in TR2, bought TR3 and then I see this crystal in level 1 😶😠😅
In TR3 they did a combination of TR1 and TR2 saves: you still get the crystals and you get to save whenever you want as long as you have enough crystals
I'm going to guess it's because consoles back then had a reputation of being for more casual players back then, so they weren't as accustomed to PC-like features at the time, like free-saving. The game also doesn't tell you that your progress is completely unsaved until you use a crystal, so free-saving might have been a bit of a rude shock to PSX players.
@@MrNiceguy3210 Console players were generally starkly aware that if you didn't save, your progress would be lost. Lots of games around the time of the earlier TR games still had level codes like 2D scrollers on earlier consoles so the idea of having to do a thing to save your progress wasn't that unnatural and the existence of a memory card made saving a very conscious process, at least in my experience. Even PC gamers (I grew up with Doom and that era of game) could only save between levels in many cases. Free saving obviously became more common but I remember tons of games that didn't give you free reign to save wherever.
I wish they gave you the choice in the pc version to play with unlimited saves or with saves crystals. The first time you play tr3 with unlimited saves, you see it as a blessing. The second or third time you play, you likely notice how easy the game is with unlimited saves.

Canceling camera hints by the game and getting max turning speed instantly rather than accelerated frame by frame. There are also places where it's just a bad habit and serves 0 purpose. But the 2 l listed are the only reasons in general
He currently is ranked 7th in an anniversary category. Though it seems like he currently doesn't have much ambition to do it, as he holds nearly (or every) WR in the first 5 games so it seems like his focus is on those games.
True Story: As a young adult I was a mid 6 and I had a high 8 + add-ons girlfriend and I'd push her away from me to play this. Its now 2021 and I'm wondering wtf was wrong with me.

Aksed a question (did not say you are not allowed to play), so poor criteria for IQ judgement. Why you run and jump???

Because its fastest way to move. Way faster, running speed is 48 iirc and running jump is 75

The Japanese version is easier because high difficulty turns off Japanese gamers. Also darkly lit games. Thats why TR was never popular there.
Dark Souls, Devil May Cry, and every bullet hell game ever made would like a word (not to mention countless other examples)
