yes you get harder race which is completely different looking and way longer. l just trick the game by collecting 7 skulls, triggering Verner dialogue for the easy route, wait him to move and then go pick the 8th skull.
yeah glitchless secrets isn't true all secrets like in nlnmas. in theory you could fill up all the way to 70 by quitting and re-entering alexandria, but that would cost too much time

I didnt take it on purpose. I did get 4/3 in train level which means l can skip one slow secret somewhere
