Really enjoying watching all of these OG Tomb Raider WR's, these were my favourite games in my teens. Every Christmas for about 5 years I got the new Tomb Raider game, so it's great to watch them being ran as fast as possible, especially glitchless as the developers intended the game to be played. One of the TR games that made me feel like I can't complete it when I was a kid seeing how "easy" it can be today is kinda funny and astonishing in the same time. Speedruns however still look difficult to me 😅 Great job man
Hey man. Amazing run! Thanks for sharing. A question : whats the Key to get the 1:12:20 jump right? Im lined up such a way that my jump lands me on the slope in normal jump....its when i turn midair i hit the wall. Thanks! :)
You have to hold left after l you bonked by the corner. before landing on the slope. There's easier setup here. Look at the inputs 0.25x speed for amount of buffers each way. l don't remember them anymore th-cam.com/video/jJGVUPnLshU/w-d-xo.html
The end isnt open/loaded because of the trick we do after picking up the first key, we go backwards. It skips flipmap trigger and needing the ticket. So in order to open the end we need to go back to redroom and "finish" the room the way you were intended.
@@Footi Oh it's clear now. I didn't know the levels change in the background this way I only play the games as intended. By the way, are these kind of speedrunning tricks documented somewhere? Or the community learns these from each other's runs? Thanks for the reply!
This game doesn't fuck around. You go to one room and wonder at least half an hour what to do, not to meantion it's really hard. But that's not a criticize. I like games like that, most of today's games are easy af.
What kind of a fool desingned a game like this. In TR2 yea u had these anoying underwater levels but in fact it was fun 2play. U had 2 or 3 possible ways and after a while u could find ur way trough the switches and key aslt. But in TR3 u have 2 know everything u have 10 possible ways, most of the levels are lookin like a child had desingned theese u have 2 run and to search til ur mad

Seeing you breeze through the first London level was a mindblower. Could have saved me a lot of hassle if I'd seen that when I was doing it

Why did not u use barb wire curved jump at the start of the level in luds gate? Is it a glitch ?
What flare does? How it effects the jumping?
Doesn't affect jumping, it cancels the landing animations if you throw it before landing or when you land

What is the point of the detour from 55:40 to 56:51? Why didn't you just finish the level by going down the hole immediately?

Why are u always unholstering your pistols when you don’t need to?
To skip camera hints and you can get max turning speed when guns are fully equipped. Normally its accelerated frame by frame
