Wow - such a great overview of the rules! I really love it! Love that you spend so much time making multiple shots and editing it altogether. I know that's a lot more work - but it looks a lot better!!
A really well made and produced “How to play” video! Well done! The game is amazing! One of the bigger, if not the biggest, surprises of 2021. I missed the original campaign and am now backing for the Deluxe edition in the current campaign. Really glad Jay gave gamers a second chance at it! :D Cheers!
So kind of you to drop by and write this, really made me happy! Thank you mate! Yes this game is truly amazing and one of a kind, they deserve all the success they are getting! Cool that you will get the game now :D Do you enjoy to play the agents or recruiter the most?
@@JendersGaming I enjoy both sides a lot, they both are very engaging! The detective aspect and teamwork of the agents are really cool! But I do get the most adrenaline playing as the recruiter! xD
Great explanation! Ive watched a few rules explanations for MIND MGMT now and this is the easiest one for me to follow yet :) now its time for me to start recruiting 😏
Great job. I found it difficult to discern when you were saying "you can" vs "you can't" (see 7:16 mark for example). Maybe switch to "you cannot" to ensure others aren't confused.
Good overview but you missed one very important rule - Blocked Features. Rogue Agents CANNOT Ask about any feature that any of the four Immortals are currently standing on. Thus, Rogue agents are usually blocking up to 8 of the 16 possible features they might want to Ask about (less if an Immortal is on a Temple or if the more than one Immortal is blocking the same feature). Using your Immortals to intentionally block a feature is a big part of the Recruiter’s strategy. Additionally, you did not make it clear that after the Recruiter plays, the Rogue Agents must activate any TWO of their Four Agents, then the Recruiter goes a second time, then the Rogue Agents activate their TWO REMAINING Agents. Then all four Rogue Agents are stood back up on the proceeding round.
You are right. I did not mention this, but this was just meant as an overview (as the title says) of the rules, not a 100% complete how-to-play, plus I pretty much only go through the basic rules here. Today, I do full how-to-play videos, but back when I did this one, I did not :) With that said, I'm still happy about hour input! Thx
Hi mate, yes I did. Oh Man that is like asking a kid what candy they like the most, it's quite hard and I think in the end it comes down to what typ of artwork/thematic environment you like. Both games have so many cool little mechanics and components in them that I can't choose one. It depends on what type of mood you are in :)
Thanks for the overview of the game! Sounds very interesting game. You also reviewed Beast board game. If I could choose one hidden movement game to my collection, would you recommend this or Beast?
Thank you my friend! Happy you liked it! Oh that's like asking a kid what toy if their favorite haha. These games have the some things in common but are very different, and they are both great games. I loved the environment, Characters and Beasts in Beast. The lore is amazing and gameplay runs super smoothly. In MIND MGMT you have a whole other setting, other kind of power, the feel of this game is special and gives the player many secrets to unlock. So to say what game is better is super hard because they both excel in this genre. :)
@@JendersGaming I was afraid you would say this 😅Mind MNGT has quite interesting gameplay and everybody recommends it, but I'm still not sure about the art style of the game. Beast in other hand is an amazing looking game.
Here I think it will all come down to what kind of artwork you are into as the gameplay of both games are really good :) The plus side on MIND MGMT is that there is a app if you like to play solo :)
Thanks for a nice vid explaining the rules. Just a gentle feedback...whenever you said can't it just sounds like can....was really hard understanding what you meant at first. Might be good if you could pronounce "can't" a bit more prominently.
You are super welcome my friend and thank you so much for this feedback! I will definitely keep this in mind in the future, I'm from Sweden so I need all the help I can get haha 😄
I bought the Kickstarter Deluxe edition which came with wooden components so I never received any punchboard sheets. Do you think you could reply with a SPOILER warning with some spaces where someone would have to scroll down a bit to read the secret messages?
Hi mate! Ah I have not considered that some can't see the secret messages! You know what, I don't know if I saved the pieces with tje secret message! I will have a look and if I find it I sure will fix it :)
Is the number of feature cards restricted to 2 only at all times for the immortal recruiting?? If the immortals couldn't recruit by the end of their turn, then can we add one more feature card and make it 3 and more likewise??
Haha yes the art is quite different but it comes from the comics, I think there is a raw charm in this art that you don't really find anywhere else. Thank you so much for the kind words my friend, means so much!
Having just finished reading the entire graphic novel series, you are SO missing out. There's so much to look at, so much hidden in plain sight. Kindt's style isn't pretty, but it's an utter masterwork!

Yes to! Need to be on your toes the whole time and thinking one step ahead, such a kick! 😀
definitely the best, most concise, and well produced rules video I've seen on this. Thanks!
Wow thank you so much! This makes me really happy to read my friend! Thank you for taking the time to write this :)
I am gonna play this tomorrow! Great job explaining everything!

@@JendersGaming Thank you for your contribution to our great hobby.
It's my absolute pleasure, this community is simply the best!
I was going to make this exact comment! Otherwise, excellent video.
I have actually started to say :You cannot, now Instead of Can't haha. Thank you mate!
Nice video. Thanks!
You are super welcome my friend!
Wow I'm really interested with this game
This is sooo good and a really different kind of game! Love the artwork and and the gameplay. Will you try to find it?
@@JendersGaming if I will have enough budget and if I find one here in our place I will try it :)

You also tested the hidden movement game "Beast" right? Which one do you like better, Mind MGMT or Beast?

@@JendersGaming Hi! Alright. Just considering which hidden movement game I should buy.
Did you play Whitehall Mystery or Letters from Whitechapel?
To be honest I don't think any of these will let you down :) They are both great games.

@@JendersGaming Thank you. Was wondering the rule book guides to take one more feature card every turn...we didn't open the shift system though...
were you sitting in a fridge, lol? why is there steam? great vid tho
