There were times when I was seriously considering joining the Marine Corps. I had dropped out of college and started my own business, but felt like I was giving up some of my potential. Felt like I had the mentality of a fighter. Grew up doing MMA and talking to vets about enlisting, but never pulled the trigger. Happy with where I am now though. Since there isn't much of a war going on, I was very afraid I was going to spend four years on ship without making a difference. This song and video had me very emotionally torn on several occasions since I was 18. Will never take for granted how blessed I am. I know a lot of true combat vets who are heroes to me and they helped me decide what was best for me. Don't know where we'd be without them.
