The UK is a very mis-managed country. No thought goes into planning, things are left 'to the market'.
    Hence we get fleeced.
Both the Conservatives and the Labour party are socialists so things may not get better with a change of government. Taxation and high costs for services are at the heart of both of their offerings.
The most we can hope for is that Labour are more competent.
When push comes to shove they will increase taxes, especially council tax.
There is an urgent need to understand, that despite talk of the UK being the sixth richest country, presumably the inflated cost of housing is the deciding factor, many of us are poor.

There is already a decline in birth rates in UK.
But it seems a lot of peoples solutions are "don't have them" rather than finding and debating a possible reasonable solution.
Even people who are working are finding it difficult to pay excessive bills these days.
So lets just factor in some of your comments "dont have children" lets say couples followed your advice plus the already decline in birth rate. Who in the future is going to pay taxes, pay for your state pensions, infrastructure, economy if we have a huge gap and enormous decline in a generation to come.

Because it's all part of the plan. To get back every penny they give you while making you feel that you are 'strong and independent and free from a man's control'. That means you are working for free. A slave.
It's a domino effect from the 2nd wave feminism.
The 2k she spends on childcare a month could be saved and her husband could work and she takes care of her own children like it's meant to be but feminism tells her that's being a slave to a man. She has to work to be considered 'useful'. Ironically, that turns her into a slave for the government and her children suffer mental health issues as well for being away from their nurturers for the majority of their childhood.

What is the point of children if you are not going to care for them yourself? That is what mothers are for. Careers and motherhood don't mix together properly at the same time. You cannot do both properly.. being a sahm is not just about being a mother it is caring for the ailing and frail members of the extended family . There is mothers instinct and intuition which childcare has not got. Mother and fathers are not interchangeable except in emergencies. They have different roles and that is why men are more suited to be breadwinners and mothers to be breadmakers. I taught my children as much as I could before school and socialized with like minded families. I also taught them how I cared for each subsequent child so they would learn about childcare and put into fruition when they become parents in the future. Mothers and child should bond and childcare makes that difficult.iif you work maternity, leave is a joke because it's not long enough even to feed a baby as nature intended for as long as nature intended. If you feed otherwise you have still got the nighfeedsto be met for a child and they should nt be cheated out of them. So why put children in expensive childcare when you can do it yourself? It is only going to pay taxes to bullying governments who do not care about family life.

What is being asked here? Absolutely no ownership of your situation. Factoring abortion over money? don't......get......pregnant then! This is your responsibility.

Mother in the video with 3 girls could take 2 children in her home and teach and care for them at home, hers also. She could make money while at home with her kids as well.

This is just one situation the government have 0 answer to... 6.5K is nothing when the annual bill is 24K, still leaves you with about 1,450pm in costs. I've done without many things in life as times get harder and harder, one by one cutting back and knocking off any sense of enjoyment in life off the list. Those applying the shrinkflation mentality on this aspect of life need to get theyre head screwed as simply saying don't have kids is not a suitable compromise.

@@Andy-qe6kkthen people shouldn't be having children to compete with immigrant population. I wouldn't buy a car or house just because an immigrant family had one or more than one. This is self inflicted and no other country gives people money for free. If you can't feed them, don't agree them
