Ever since Ainz transferred to the new world, he began losing some of his humanity due to his undead race. And since Ainz is a Level 100 undead magic caster, he most likely has a max stat of intelligence, so it could be that Ainz doesn't realize that he is brilliant. it would probably work that way if intelligence was an actual in-game stat, but it isn't. I don't recall the exact name but it was something like "magical might".
Int was'nt a stat. A NPC can be a genius just because his backstory. Ainz is just a guy who just finished elementary school (very poor and orphan, like the Demiurge's creator).

First I was still laughing on Jirchnev for overthinking things along with the Floor Guardians but then again being Titled "The Supreme Beings" makes me believe thats the reason why they view his actions and words as his master plan but in reality its just a simple plan. Second I love the fight between the battle between them both since they are Honorable till the end since it was clean and its very clear on how Ainz is the best in P.V.P and why he was considered the leader of Nazarick.
Even after reading the LNs, your summaries are still great to watch because they're clear and to the point, certainly helping to keep things straight. And being so prompt with the episode followups is really going to help the anime-only viewers with the big picture. Good luck keeping up the pace.
As someone who hasn't read the LN. Yes, it feels like an extra episode. The way he explains things is easy and engaging! Keep up the great work, AniNews!

I really appreciated that they laced in the throwback reference to Guu who made fun of Ainz, because those with long names are considered weak by trolls, but Go Gin specifically rejected this belief. Definitely got him some brownie points with Ainz and will probably help his relations in Nazarick post-resurrection~
It is refreshing to see Ainz both confident and competent when it comes to PvP. In all other aspects, he is pretty much bullshitting his way through. But with PvP, Ainz really does have schemes within schemes.
I like the part where go gin reminded him of touch me. Its nice but sad that hes still thinking about his old guildmates even while conquering the world on accident. Day 45 of asking for a grand assasin hassan servant review

@@guizarbayardoemmanuelisaia1718 I think it was when Go Gin talked about even though he [Go Gin] was regard as being strong, her instinctually knew there were stronger beings out there. Like how Ainz [Momonga] got strong, but always looked up to Touch Me as being unreachablely strong.
7:43 I think that the thing about the rules for classes in Overlord setting is that level 100 was the max limit, but any XP over that could be collected spent on rituals and super-tier magic.
I wish the show integrated the "internal mind talk mode" that Kumo Desu has, you know, that overly talkative and fun interior masked with an unreadable exterior. We do get hints of Ainz true self whenever he encounters any of the guardians, but it would be so much fun if we had that more often.
That fight was so well done. It was a shame that the bromance between the guild leader and Ainz weren't really shown much still an incredibly great episode.

That really was a masterful flex on the part of Ainz. I cant recall just how clear he made his stance as holding back to the people in general, but this dude was fighting with both hands and a foot tied behind his back and he still won a crushing victory. Showing that even the most powerful warrior couldnt hurt him if he didnt allow it, and that even without mana he could still do massive damage in a fight, it showed he wasnt a glass cannon, he was a solid titanium artillery piece loaded with nukes.

Go Kun had the right idea ditching the armor besides being to weak to move. Daggers are the best counter to plate armor, small enough to get into the important cracks like the eyes or the armpits. Awesome videos
9:45 transmog is a standard for any good rpg, its good that yggdrassil had cosmetic options as well, even if it meant having to specifically change the data of an object to math another.
I think this is more than Ainz pulling off a strategy, this is Ainz applying what he has learn from Clementine, if you recognize it, Ainz did the same move where he stab Martial King and did a little twist, applying some kind of fire to inflict more damage to the stabbed area. Usually Ainz is more used to swing swords rather than daggers but here, he's strikes is more accurate and you can clearly see he is trying to hit the vitals. I think overall this is a huge flex for Ainz, if he can beat someone that is considered strongest in combat wihtout using magic then what more he can do if he actually use all of spells he knows.
Probably both. He freaking trains how to sit down as an overlord, so I have no doubt that he practiced 40 minutes how to twirl the daggers like that the night before.
@@RutraNickers i remember hearing that he trained for over 10 hours just for some poses. so he probably spent at least that long just perfecting the dagger twirling
I know you put the image of the two daggers in the previous overlord episode but i just now realized those 2 daggers are the dragon fang daggers from Solo leveling
Ainz: oh I betrayed my friend I will go say sorry Jerniv: how the in name of the empire did he know am planning to backstab he's such a good strategist that foresaw it yes that it Basically the what
As much as the show jokes about it, Ainz is actually unbelievably smart. He is overly cautious and knows battle very very well. Even in other aspects, it's surprising how well Ainz is knowledgeable. But the world makes up for what he doesn't know and favors him greatly. Resulting in this unfathomable "knowledge" everyone makes it seem he has.
Overall I'm just so happy that they are staying so close to the source material and are adapting as much as they can without adding or leaving out too much
I'm pretty sure you made a mistake in the end. The reason ains didn't react in the end was because he reactivated his skills that gave him physical damage immunity, ains directly says to the martial king that he had to nullify several of his skills to make the fight even possible. So it wasn't the difference in hp it was probably the damage negation accept of the fight
The emperor hearing Ainz is there: (oh god. No he knew i was coming. He caught me, he is a genious) Ainz, seeing the emperor: (oh no, he knew i was coming. he caught me. Let me say hi to save some face) Ainz: oh hello Majesrty 💀(😃) fancy seeing you here, what a coincidence huh. The emperor: (omg hes just taunting me)
I was wondering about that resurrection. It wasn't that clear about what might have been lost for shalltear as besides the memories, some revives handicap players for a little while much like how an injury requires rehabilitation before a person is back to normal. I personally would like an OVA of shalltear having rehab. Heck just for laughs let it happen in the cherry blossom sanctuary with all the characters talking about underestimating humans while Aureole being unable to 👀 or say anything as they are too focussed on the topic to notice her. Maybe she gets the last word in at the end "but...I'm human" I just want a full slice of life (pun intended) about the battle maids who accidentally keep killing humans and Aureole is always given the happy farm paperwork cause she's always at the sanctuary and by default gets all the time consuming tasks.
There are two major types of resurrection: - True Resurrection (you wouldn't lose levels). - Standard Resurrection (you would lose levels, as in the case of Go Gin, or previously Gagaran and Tia) In the case of Shalltear, as she is an npc, she doesn't lose levels, the memories lost is just a secondary effect of the mind control.
@@L3onking reading the wiki I realised I was mistaken, normal resurrection and true resurrection both make you lose levels, though true resurrection makes you lose less levels than the standard one. When they resurrected Gagaran and Tia after Jaldabaoth's appearance it was mentioned that they became very weak because of all the levels lost, also, it is mentioned that normally resurrection takes a lot of money and may turn the body to ashes if after losing levels the level becomes 0 or less. In the case of NPCs it works different, it still requires a lot of money but they don't lose levels as the level is linked to the guild and the Yggdrassil guilds' system. It may be mentioned in multiple volumes. The wand used has the spell resurrection if I recall clearly, while the one used in volume 12 would be true resurrection.
@@zorsal112 Log Horizon also had a very interesting death mechanic but as they are still in the "game" it wasn't a true death. I wonder what the % of exp is lost in death, maybe it's consumed like sustenance to the winning party? In Schäärgocks video about the member of the sunlight Scripture that witnessed Jaldabaoth, Ainz noticed that he should have gained at least a level in that massacre but he didn't feel any different at all though he did lose a level when he used a shop item on shalltear. I have a feeling that chaos magic requires absolute certainty in faith, so going from a rigid system that has exp to a fluid system that requires your own sense of mastery, Ainz might genuinely have to spend Millenia on learning what previous flavour text is now a genuine craft like Runes. Apparently the author is wrapping up overlord and says it will have an open ending (appropriate as it fits the theme of a new world) And an undead Ainz can do as his lie suggests and spend all the time in the world learning lesser middle and high rune magic that is honestly the most brilliant "safe" route any cautious magus like Momon could take. I'll buy these books just because the characters employ a level of logic that I can't argue with. Game of thrones couldn't even do that.

"Oh my god, they're perfect in every way, i NEED to befriend them"~Both Ainz and Jercniv, just in different tones.
Ever since Ainz transferred to the new world, he began losing some of his humanity due to his undead race. And since Ainz is a Level 100 undead magic caster, he most likely has a max stat of intelligence, so it could be that Ainz doesn't realize that he is brilliant. However, he is actually super intelligent from others' perspectives, and all his actions might be affected by his max intelligence. 🤔
ive never thought about that before, like hes becoming more and more like his yggdrasil character
it would probably work that way if intelligence was an actual in-game stat, but it isn't. I don't recall the exact name but it was something like "magical might".
Int was'nt a stat. A NPC can be a genius just because his backstory. Ainz is just a guy who just finished elementary school (very poor and orphan, like the Demiurge's creator).
@@vonkieffer1126 with that said; Ainz IS pretty damn smart actually, albeit in a non-conventional way, it's just that being a social recluse and utterly uneducated(due to circunstances outside his control) make him look dumber than he is in a lot of situations
this is also what i believe too,his mega high int is affecting his actions and he dosent realize it he think he is winging it but every desicion has that max int behind it influencing it
The best thing about this whole epi, besides Baziwood getting a bullseye about Aniz.
Was the fact that his author shows other species besides humans have intelligence. We've been shown two war trolls with two different personalities, just like the Warrior King said. They are of their Species but each individual are their own also.
Just love it.
The duel gave me Gazef flashbacks. Such a shame he held such loyalty to a pitiful king.
true
He wasnt any better. His loyalty was gonna cause everyone else to die if ains wasn't also loyal to the duel. He was totally selfish and a psychopath even after knowing what his selfishness and ego would of done. His character dosent make sense and all
If Gazef didn't ask to not be rezzed Ainz prolly would have rezzed him too. He respected him.
@@RutraNickers bruh he literally killed 70k soldiers with one spell creating horrible looking monsters 20x times bigger than a human by sacrificing those same corpse. Killing most of the soldiers by trampling them by the same monsters. He's the greatest idiot of all time if he though he's not gonna go further and destroy the kingdom after that. Ains gave him a choice and gazef knows he dosent lie and is reasonable but also merciless. He shamed the kingdom by not stopping the massacre when he could easily. His pride was gonna cause thousands of others to die. He didn't defend anything. He had 0 proof to tell if ains was gonna stop the massacre or not after his death . But it was guaranteed he would if he joined. A mere human who can't even beat on of his death knights valued himself too much. His pride and loyalty for a weak king was gonna cost the same king life and it's people
0 logic
Well the base plan was for Brain and the young knight to have some intel on ains power but sadly gazef got one shooted
"Ainz felt an affinity with Jirniv" AHAHAHAHHAHAHH Jicniv im so sorry king. The poor man pissed his pants when he saw ainz. On another note ainz using stilettos in an arena fight is very intersting idea to visualize. LmAO
Touch Me was the #1 pvp player in yggdrasill but yeah Ainz is extremely good aswell
@@b11spirit ikr! Aninews is a godsend! I watched his vids at the end of S3 and started watching others reaction videos. The comments had so much interesting cut content that i ended up reading everything. Animeonlys aint seen nothing yet!
Where do hou buy the LN?
I really appreciated that they laced in the throwback reference to Guu who made fun of Ainz, because those with long names are considered weak by trolls, but Go Gin specifically rejected this belief. Definitely got him some brownie points with Ainz and will probably help his relations in Nazarick post-resurrection~
Ainz: Jircniv is a cool guy I'd love to be buddies with
Jircniv: HE'S AN OMNIESCIENT DEMON GOD!!!!
I know there's other TH-camrs that cover overlord, but none have such a soothing voice imo.
Definitely
And he does such a good job with covering and explaining everything in detail, seriously increased my love for Overlord
Ainz: I’m a master of life and death
*Pulls out wand*
Ainz: “God I hope this works…”
😂
lmaaaaaoooo
This is why I never brag. Friggin universe is watching me
Edit: yes I know it worked for Ainz *I am not Ainz*
It is refreshing to see Ainz both confident and competent when it comes to PvP. In all other aspects, he is pretty much bullshitting his way through. But with PvP, Ainz really does have schemes within schemes.
Ainz has literally made every kind of precautions possible! He took every step he needed to prevent every possible outcome that could come to him!!!
Many thanks for these
YYYEEESSS MORE OVERLORD CONTENT!!!
😎😎😎😎😎😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸☕️☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️
The overlord is best skeleton
I like the part where go gin reminded him of touch me. Its nice but sad that hes still thinking about his old guildmates even while conquering the world on accident.
Day 45 of asking for a grand assasin hassan servant review
Which aspect in particular reminded him of Touch Me? Or just in general?
@@guizarbayardoemmanuelisaia1718 go gin was having fun fighting someone far stronger than him, ainz felt the same way when he was having duels with touch me who was top 3 strongest players in game
Thanks, really appreciate both of you
7:43 I think that the thing about the rules for classes in Overlord setting is that level 100 was the max limit, but any XP over that could be collected spent on rituals and super-tier magic.
I wish the show integrated the "internal mind talk mode" that Kumo Desu has, you know, that overly talkative and fun interior masked with an unreadable exterior. We do get hints of Ainz true self whenever he encounters any of the guardians, but it would be so much fun if we had that more often.
I love your in depth videos with the amazing editing quality. Keep it up !
That fight was so well done. It was a shame that the bromance between the guild leader and Ainz weren't really shown much still an incredibly great episode.
I love how most of Ainz’s mastermind plans are everyone misunderstanding what he is doing and overestimating everything as some massive big brain play. Ainz accidentally drops a pen, everyone thinks he is testing them to see if they are prepared and have a replacement for him. Lol
I binged all your overlord content in a day, it was just background sound I'm my head as I went about my daily business lmao, was sad it was over. glad I got one more to listen to later
i love these series , i havent read the light novel yet thats why when you explain the cut out Content i raelly enjoy it , and its not just me its geting a good amount of view as well , keep up the good work my G
Great job on this video! I like the part in the anime before ainz enters the arena where ainzach is overly worried for ainz showing how dedicated he was to ainz's wish for adventures to be true adventures.
Right as I finished the last video, new one pops up. Thanks so much for your work!
Gonna need to see more of Headhunter Rabbit, really like his design and his reactions to Osk.
IV heard he doesn't ever pop up in the story again
@@flynn8845 yep, that's correct
I love all the misunderstanding between Ainz and Jercnive. Peak comedy.
Ainz: nice move Jircniv, you forsaw my move in this checker board game, truly the perfect emperor i admire!
Jircniv: WHAT KIND OF ULTRADIMENSIONAL CHESS DID HE PLAY?!
I always enjoy these deep dyes that show the differences between the text and the show. It'll be doing this for dawn matches new season and also
Like your content. I'm an anime watcher only. So I like to see what I have missed from lite novels. Thank for the content
I actually fell for Ainz's mastermind when he showed up, I thought Demiurge told him after hearing info from his spies or something.
Thanks! Knowing your being weak against an opponent like Ainz and still face death with great resolve ooff a true King Warrior!
Thanks for the breakdowns; this is making me want to go get the light novels and read them. I really like the show, but there’s so much that’s getting left out I feel compelled to see what I missed.
'Ainz failing to ressurect The Martial king'-'Stares up to Jercniv'-" Even one of my caliber cannot defy death, be careful to cherish the one chance you have at it."-'Ainz thinking he's giving some friendly advice to a friend'-'Jercniv- That's a warning, a warning that this is my last chance, He's providing me the option of leaving my life in his hands, hands that could and would rob me of my life like he just did the martial king. What an inhuman way of asking me to offer my life and the fact that I just considered it means the Theocracy just deemed me a traitor.'
Perfect timing! I had just finished watching the last episode of cut content :D
bro your edits and clips are some of my fav! just paused after Tyler 1 to write this lmao! 5:07! Love this anime! Love your synopses, and love your videos! keep em COMIN!
Go Kun had the right idea ditching the armor besides being to weak to move. Daggers are the best counter to plate armor, small enough to get into the important cracks like the eyes or the armpits. Awesome videos
Ainz public appearance: Wise
Ainz private appearance: Anxiety attack.
Thanks for that, I'm too lazy to read the LN at the moment, so that was super cool to know
9:45 transmog is a standard for any good rpg, its good that yggdrassil had cosmetic options as well, even if it meant having to specifically change the data of an object to math another.
Jircniv: "I can't believe Ainz predicted I'd be here"
Ainz: "I can't believe Jircniv predicted I'd be here"
I think this is more than Ainz pulling off a strategy, this is Ainz applying what he has learn from Clementine, if you recognize it, Ainz did the same move where he stab Martial King and did a little twist, applying some kind of fire to inflict more damage to the stabbed area.
Thanks for making such awesome content keep it up ☺️ we enjoy everything you post something.
I love your narrations
It's funny that the empire is utterly petrified of ains and all ains wants to do is be friends
Would you not be scared if a guy pointing a gun at your head said he wanted to be friends? lmao
Thanks for turning around a video so quickly.
Thanks for doing these, love it!
I’m curious if Ainz practiced the dagger twirling trick or he’s use to physical combat by now
Probably both. He freaking trains how to sit down as an overlord, so I have no doubt that he practiced 40 minutes how to twirl the daggers like that the night before.
@@RutraNickers gotta look like an Overlord even in combat
@@RutraNickers i remember hearing that he trained for over 10 hours just for some poses. so he probably spent at least that long just perfecting the dagger twirling
He definitely learn it, go refer to Clemintine fight. He took her words as a lesson before literally crushing her bones
I know you put the image of the two daggers in the previous overlord episode but i just now realized those 2 daggers are the dragon fang daggers from Solo leveling
The way I immediately gasp upon seeing this in my notification feed.
I really love your content. Please upload more, can't get enough!
great ep as always @AniNews. Can you please continue Arifrueta cut content!
Ainz: oh I betrayed my friend I will go say sorry
Jerniv: how the in name of the empire did he know am planning to backstab he's such a good strategist that foresaw it yes that it
Basically the what
As much as the show jokes about it, Ainz is actually unbelievably smart. He is overly cautious and knows battle very very well.
Even in other aspects, it's surprising how well Ainz is knowledgeable.
But the world makes up for what he doesn't know and favors him greatly. Resulting in this unfathomable "knowledge" everyone makes it seem he has.
Huh, how interesting, i will look forward to the next Cut Content.
Gasef to this day was still the only person to make Ainz use magic right of the bat
Overall I'm just so happy that they are staying so close to the source material and are adapting as much as they can without adding or leaving out too much
Love these recaps
Someone has to say it....Ainz playing checkers while everyone else is playing 4D chess and he STILL winning 😂😂😂
👌so nice , thanks dude, love the video
Hope you all are having a good day
5:02 this killed me LOL with the imagen of tyler1 he's just build different 😂😂😂😂
Thanks!
I have bought succubae merch! I just got it in today and I love it!
love these deep dives
The anime should somehow include Ainz's thought proccess during The fight, it makes it só much more epic
Great video as always!
Thanks again sam!
Thanks
Yes new upload
I was just watching part 1 when u drop the 2nd one 😅
I'm pretty sure you made a mistake in the end. The reason ains didn't react in the end was because he reactivated his skills that gave him physical damage immunity, ains directly says to the martial king that he had to nullify several of his skills to make the fight even possible. So it wasn't the difference in hp it was probably the damage negation accept of the fight
The emperor hearing Ainz is there: (oh god. No he knew i was coming. He caught me, he is a genious)
Ainz, seeing the emperor: (oh no, he knew i was coming. he caught me. Let me say hi to save some face)
Ainz: oh hello Majesrty 💀(😃) fancy seeing you here, what a coincidence huh.
The emperor: (omg hes just taunting me)
Ayy 2 videos this week let’s gooo
Ainz: BEHOLD MY POWER!!!
*Internally*: pls work pls work pls work pls work. I might actually die from embarrassment if it doesn't.
Early crew!! Hell yea!!
I never spend 50 dollars on sweatshirts but i watch so much of your content bro imma do it. And it’s cool.
Like I said only the og’s are here 1 day before everyone else
Came up at the rite time… yesssss
Am i the only one who really wants Ainz and Jercnive to be friends 🥺
I don't think most people noticed but I think Nigredo is in the first few seconds of the season 4 OP just after Pleiades and the Nazarick maids
The *huh* when he said if i win ill get to eat you 😅
Amazing performance
Great content Aninews.
8:45 so basically the same thing the emperor felt, but with less fear
YYYYEEEEESSSSS, YOUR VIDEOS HAVE BECOME MY DRUG AND YOUR VOICE MY ADDICTION !!!!!🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Glad to see they're not cutting too too much important info, just quite a bit of backstory and extra info...whew.
Maybe she gets the last word in at the end "but...I'm human"
I just want a full slice of life (pun intended) about the battle maids who accidentally keep killing humans and Aureole is always given the happy farm paperwork cause she's always at the sanctuary and by default gets all the time consuming tasks.
There are two major types of resurrection:
- True Resurrection (you wouldn't lose levels).
- Standard Resurrection (you would lose levels, as in the case of Go Gin, or previously Gagaran and Tia)
In the case of Shalltear, as she is an npc, she doesn't lose levels, the memories lost is just a secondary effect of the mind control.
@@zorsal112 do you remember which volume that was talked about in? I'm so ready to read but I love having something to look forward to.
The wand used has the spell resurrection if I recall clearly, while the one used in volume 12 would be true resurrection.
it is heavily implied that the memories lost are related to the mind control, since she only lost memories of that night and the days after
@@zorsal112 Log Horizon also had a very interesting death mechanic but as they are still in the "game" it wasn't a true death.
Apparently the author is wrapping up overlord and says it will have an open ending (appropriate as it fits the theme of a new world)
And an undead Ainz can do as his lie suggests and spend all the time in the world learning lesser middle and high rune magic that is honestly the most brilliant "safe" route any cautious magus like Momon could take.
I'll buy these books just because the characters employ a level of logic that I can't argue with. Game of thrones couldn't even do that.
Thanks for the amazing content good sir
