I don't understand why the recipe calls for 1 carrot or 135 grams but you have used 4 carrots? Even on the original recipe with the link you have provided, there is only 1 carrot shown. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this. They look like average sized carrots not the mini ones. Thank you otherwise!! Looks great.
Great video, your recipe looks like it is delicious. Weighing everything is a great tip to ensure the consistency of the flavor. The only problem I would have with this recipe is that I don't cook with or eat sugar. I don't use any sugar substitutes, I only use honey occasionally, and on a rare occasion, I use maple syrup. Can I substitute either honey or maple syrup for the sugar?

Hi Nilda, Thanks for watching, after much thought, I don't believe there is a perfect substitute. Miso is salty, pasty and fermented. The best I could come up with is roasted garlic, fish sauce and kombucha. If you're plant-based, I would substitute fish sauce with a concentrated kombu broth. Thanks so much for asking, I may experiment with this myself.
I was looking for ginger sesame dressing recipe but found this one and I'm enjoying a bowl of salad with it right now. It's delicious

I’ve seen some people use soya sauce instead of miso. I’ve used coconut aminos instead of the soya sauce. It tastes great.
