- I show you how to make Ginger salad dressing, the same kind you will find at hibachi and sushi restaurants.
Background: I started working as a hibachi chef when I was 16 at my dads restaurant here in Athens, Ga. Since then I have worked in a handful of different restaurants, cooking hibachi, mastering sushi, and even making pizza!

Absolutely delicious! Just made this for my salad this week. I added a little sesame seed oil for the flavor and it’s so yum! Thank you again for making it simple!
Awesome, I’m glad you like it. Thank you so much for watching! Also sesame oil sounds like a great addition, I bet it was delicious!
My absolute favorite dressing!
Im glad that you addressed the dressing
😂
Yay I’m glad you’re back 😊
Thanks for your continued support!
Love your dressing recipe! Super easy with easy to find ingredients if we don’t already have them!
Thank you so much, I hope you enjoy it!
Omg! Im so glad i found your channel! I grew up with a Cajun mother and (her sister in law)my Japanese aunt. I miss her so much and all the wonderful dishes she would make us. I can't wait to get started with this and Katsu and fried rice. Hey do you know how to make Japanese cucumbers with salt and press? I can't remember how much salt and if you use rice vingar too. Anyways, I like how you keep it simple and authentic. Thank you!
I love your salad dressing Kyo gonna make it tonight!
Awesome, thank you so much!
@@cookingwithkyo5744 Came out beautifully and tasted so yummy. My family loved it !
That’s great to hear, I’m glad y’all liked it!
Looks delicious! Can’t wait to make it. How long does the dressing keep in the fridge?
I usually label it and keep it for up to 1 month. Thank you for watching!
Great video man! Audio is a little scuffed at the end though.
Yeah, I’m not sure what happened there. I will try and get it figured out before my next upload. Thanks for watching!

The links for the music are in the description, please check it out! The artist is one of my friends, and if you like this track you’ll definitely like the other ones too. Thanks for watching, and listening!
I dont need to measure just eyeball it is not like making cakes u hav to be precise.
Your measurements was way off! It came out extremely watery I had to keep adding carrots to make it thicker.
Sorry to hear that… but viscosity is all personal preference. This recipe is a culmination of ginger dressings that I have made at the 5 different hibachi/sushi restaurants that I’ve worked at over the last 20 years. I’ve taken what I learned and made my own recipe, I’m sorry if you don’t like it but this is how I like mine. Thank you for watching!
@cookingwithkyo5744 Thank you for responding I appreciate your recipe and I didn't say I didn't like the flavors. I was letting you know I followed the measurements exactly and it came out watery it looks nothing like how it was showed in the video so I'm putting it out there to save another subscriber time and add accordingly
@Shellybellykitchen
