The Challenger was out selling the Mustang and Camaro for several years, despite complaints from some that it was "long in the tooth". If you've got a top selling model why discontinue it and replace with the new Charger (POS) or a new Cuda ? The Challenger needs to be brought back with or without being refreshed. This should be a money maker even at reasonable prices and tooling has long been paid for. The Brampton plant needs to be reactivated to re-start Challenger production. In addition, model names to need to stick around to enhance brand /model recognition, this is Marketing 101: Eg. Suburban, Corvette, Mustang, Explorer, Corolla, Civic etc. Keep the model name and continue to make improvements to be popular, profitable and lead that market's segment.

Please for the love of god, bring us an all Aluminum V8, a manual transmission, 650 HP with a suspension that actually puts the power to the ground and make the car weigh no more than 3600 lbs. I'll be the first one in line.🤞
I would Love it! Just what's really been needed! A real performance MOPAR! Nice! Buy some Stelantis stock. But- They need to make a good performing Base model at an atainable price! Sub 45k, with the new V8, Maybe a base model with a large turbo4, like GMs 2.7L 420 ft/lb 4. Be dope.
I hope they make an affordable one also.
@Kicksandgears305 lol you got to be kidding..
My first car was a '71 Plymouth 'Cuda 340 auto 30k original miles but it was a fun car. It had a Edelbrock manifold and a Holly carb all painted to the original factory engine color. I was the second owner so I wasn't sure if the manifold and Carb were stock or just painted to match the engine. A new Cuda would probably be $100,000+ in my area so im not sure I care one way or the other.
Yup, its a guarantee to bring back some serious buzz back to the Mopar brands!
I would buy it if it roasted the mustang, corvette and old challenger redeye
Prices will be outrageous if they did. Guys with the biggest wallets would win. It's the unfortunate reality now with rare cars like this would be. Dealer markups galore, unfortunately. It's a cool idea though.
Sounds like Stellantis isn’t going to put up with that kind of nonsense.
Truely wish for CDJR to experience a rebirth and go big again. The story sure is shaping like it.
That would be nice if they had a barracuda. Even if it wasn't a hellcat, if it had an affordable v8 with respectable power and mileage, it would sell great, especially if it was optional with a manual
I'd like to see a 5.0 HEMI in a 'Cuda, Challenger or any car that's smaller than The Charger. Lite weight, high horsepower and high reving!
Coworker said he had an old car that his brother-in-law left behind, I asked him how much, he said that his wife wanted it out he said for free. Texas City 1972 Cuda 440 wedge 375 HP slap stick shifter, sure grip rear end. Motor and transmission was complete. Scored
The thing under the cover was the prototype for the Charger EV.
"Stellantis is gonna make another muscle car and its gonna be cool" this better be good
Im all in. But it must be brought back under the Plymouth badge and it must have massive horsepower! A Hemi that produces 1350+ HP.
Sounds like it's gonna be shock and awe Hellcat style
Yeah a Hellcat minivan ! Smokin' all the Mustangs ! 😅
A Hellcat Pacifica!?! Now there's a minivan that I'd want to buy. 😂
Barracuda powered by a 6 banger and "Cuda the performance model like years ago and a new one with a biggest, baddest HEMI Hellcat V8 Mopar has! Hell, even a 5.7,6.4 etc..
Even the Barracuda base model should have an optional 5.7 Hemi or equivalent V8 engine as a 1970-1971 Barracuda could be bought with the High Performance 383 Super Commando like the "Cuda ("Cuda had 340 4 and 6 barrel,383 4bbl high performance Super Commando,440 4bbl Super Commando and 6 Barrel and the legendary 426 HEMI..
Now to bring back Plymouth should be done! Have the Cuda/Barracuda and small cars to get young buyers into the company..I worked at a Chrysler dealer for a bit in the 90's and people would trade their Aries in for a new Intrepid , Dodge truck or minivan even Jeeps!
They need to bring back the road runner.
dont make it a hellcat, let people slap em in them if they want but dont offer it off the floor as an option. i want these cars to be affordable for people wanting a nice V8 muscle
this would also potentially force the revival of pontiac
It would have to be on the Medium platform and built at Brampton Assembly. The Large platform that the new Charger is on is too big to compete with the Mustang and Camaro. Even if its on the Giulia platform it would still be at Brampton. There's a video of Tim Kuniskis saying that Brampton was going to be retooled in 2018 after the original Demon production ended and get a modified Giulia platform. That plan got delayed since the L series cars were still selling at the time
Just call it the CUDA SRT. Makes more sense and it has a ring to it!
If it’s the size of the mustang and weight I’ll be in line for my first dodge
Mustang is too tight for the supersize crowd. Needs to be at least a little bigger.
@@rocco3381 that’s crazy 😂 but kinda true. The mustang is a bit small. Hopefully they can make it work with the dimensions and still being a lighter car than the Mustang
@@Realpapergetter87 the new inline 6 they built actually out ran a pick up half its size pretty impressive for the inline 6 I’d say
@@iilagz impressive indeed, they just need to work out the kinks and get rid of all the plastic for proper metal parts
@@rocco3381no. That’s what they have challengers and chargers for. Why make it bigger ti get waxed by the mustang once again bc you’re too heavy now, that defeats the purpose..
I would love to see the Plymouth name come back. They could make a little EV Neon if they wanted to. Or another muscular Fury would be cool, too. Hell, if they wanted to go upscale and sell $100k cars, bring back the Imperial line, too!
Tell Tim to bring back the PT cruiser with a hellcat engine.
Hellcat Magnum and Hellcat 300!
Would buy a 'Cuda' for sure. Gonna take hit here but give me 5.7 with a auto. Have bad left leg.
Hellcat Neon!
A mid engine hellcat minivan would be the ultimate middle finger on wheels. Kind of an American version of the Renault Clio V6.
@@AtomicFacePunch or the fabled Espace F1! That’d be cool
@@AtomicFacePunch I also bring up the Espace F1 since the Espace was a proper minivan, the Clio is more like a hatchback, at least in my eyes. So maybe a mid engine hellcat Omni or something would be more similar to that
Yeah we all want to see it but if car prices don’t go down and interest rates drop cars aren’t going to sell! This is not just a Mopar problem. It’s at every dealership across all brands.
The 2015 anonymous dealer even had it qnd it was convertible variant of the next gen challenger, in which the Challenger had a modern design front that is identical to a european sport car, while the body of both had the sane retro style challenger styling but slimmer down
Oh man, I'd be in line Day #1 if they brought back the Prowler also
