After a lot of research and reading about the reference 2526 with the enamel dial, it is my favourite Patek watch. Everything about it, the size, the first automatic movement that Patek made in 1953, the different bracelets it came with, it is really a classic.
What fantastic watches - thank you for sharing them and educating as you go. Not wishing any disrespect to the modern brand (I do own modern Patek), when I see Pateks from the 1950s to the '90s, I can help but think their modern equivalents are simply less beautiful. Slim, unobtrusive, restrained and pure, the back catalogue is sublime. I suppose the answer is to get into vintage but nonetheless, the lack of elegance in the modern range does concern me.
Definitely a "go to" TH-cam information/entertainment source worth watching over and over again. Would love to see a video on the magazines and the neck tie history as well.
