Collectability first: a dream collection of the Patek Philippe ref. 3796.

- In this video, John Reardon presents a Collectability first: a dream collection of the ref. 3796. Each watch is the rarest configuration of the four colors of metal that the ref. 3796 was produced in between 1982 and around 2000. The ref. 3796 was aesthetically identical to its predecessor the ref. 96, except that it features the modern caliber 215 PS (PS standing for Petite Seconds or small seconds). In this video, John will explain why the ref. 3796 is so important in Patek Philippe’s history.

Another fantastic video from John. Very enjoyable and informative as always. Ref 3796 is just perfect. The 215PS caliber is just at the right size for it, while it became unfortunately too small for the 5196. This is the main reason why I never bought a 5196P despite loving the watch so much. These watches MUST remain as a set, you know it John 😉

Really beautiful, classic dress watches. There's nothing better than a perfectly executed dress watch. The white gold salmon dial is definitely my favorite. Great size on these too, those long lugs make them wear much larger. PS I will say I do covet the cap. Its legendary at this point. Must be the golden ratio.
