Another great episode, and again good to see a collector actually use his timepieces... case in point the 5711P looks like it sees wrist time which is awesome to see. His definition of a grail piece is also similar to mine, it's one that is almost unattainable but there's always a chance.
I loved this episode and the breadth of his collection - I mean Patek is the ultimate grail - no matter which model you get

@@danyfarhat55it's not really strange. It's not like they discussed his entire CV. I used to be a hairdresser, now I develop software for banks. I'm almost 50 and can afford things 20 year old me couldn't imagine. That's the journey of life. 😊
Keep in mind in EU, there are many generations of family and wealth and property that is passed down to children. Not always so in the US
I'm also Portuguese, but I had never heard of this man, and I still don't know who he is or what he does for living. Whatever it is, he was clearly very successful, so hats off to him.
I thought he was a pilot in the navy so plenty of scope for earning post service.
