Looking these benchmarks, it feels like all those overhyping of low VRAM is utter garbage at least for 1440P. The usage in 4K Ultra in games like Cyberpunk will be the norm for 2K ultra in majority of the game in next 3-4 years. 8GB is low but anything above 10GB is fine. Buy the GPU which plays your game smoother, just don’t follow these mass hysteria which only exists in Reddit and TH-cam only . And VRAM allocation and usage are different, so if you have Gpu of only one brand don’t compare with other, if it allocates more than 12gb in AMD don’t just assume it will take more than 12gb in Nvidia, in the same way DLSS is not always looks better than every FSR game. If you have already purchased any one of it, enjoy it because at this performance level it is on game developers that which game will play better on which one. So peace✌🏻

In more than half of the games tested the gre is faster. I did a score 5 (rtx 4070s) - 8 (gre) so 4070s was faster than gre in 5 games but gre was faster than 4070s in 8 games
Since the performance is better in Witcher, it's already game over. The specs are so different from the 79xt that I thought there would be a big difference in performance, but there isn't a huge difference in actual performance. The gre line has decent performance as well. Of course, if you look at the specs, it seems insufficient, but...

(although its gddr6 without the "x"... if that matters to anyone) but yes i would agree that it seems to perform above its specs! i mean these were AAA titles and it was getting 60/70+ fps at 4k with good settings! in my opinion that makes it 4k worthy! although i personally would stick with 1080p/1440p at least for fps titles...
7900 GRE runs cooler even after overclocking, has more vram, cheaper and has better raster performance.. It's the better card for me.. update: so I bought the card Sapphire nitro + 7900 GRE and let me tell you, it's the best purchase I've ever made and man I'm so glad it has 16GB vram. The vram usage on Ghost of tsushima 1440p ultra is already at 12.8GB (this is real world usage with background apps), so if you opted for the 4070 super 12GB vram shits, good luck with micro stutters

Currently limiting my testing to 15 games. They are a lot of work as it is. But at one time i was testing 60 games in one video. Literally had no sleep during those days lmao

Good Job on the test, maybe you could replace some games since they are not very much played or interesting for the community? Remove: Monster Hunter Black Dessert Witcher Add: (for example) Helldivers 2 Hogwarts Elden Ring Based on testing both GPU´s are very similar. Cant go wrong with either way.
Monster hunter has 16k current players Black desert has 17k Witcher has 6k Hogwarts has 5k players Elden Ring is 60 fps capped, no point in testing it unless you use a third party software to uncap. But youre risking a ban. Helldivers is amazing and popular but you literally cant do a frame by frame comparison test on it. The maps are too random.
With 260 watt version of 4070 super I get 97 fps cyberpunk ultra instead of 89 in video. and at 4k I got 43fps instead of 38. Draws around 244 watts during test. RE4 can pull around 260. Anyone watching this, keep in mind the version you get of the 4070 super can be quite a big difference. My card is almost another tier. mine does stay around 60c no matter what as well tho. this card does seem to get to the high 60s nearing 70c. This effects actual speeds as well.

My 7900 GRE Pure normaly at 50 C in normal task and come up to 70 C when i play anygame. I think his card have lower temp because he undervolted the card and he have max fan speed at all time

Uncap frame rate, set graphics settings to max, and turn vsync off, and play at a higher resolution. If that doesn’t do it, your cpu is probably bottlenecking your GPU, which basically means your cpu can’t keep up with the data your GPU is dishing out, so it can’t fully stretch its legs.

Which means people arent as interested in it. I was previously testing those games when they were at their peak. But for now its not beneficial for me to test them.

UV is undervolted, AMD RDNA cards are very good at being able to run on lower voltage and extend the life of the card even while overclocking. Lots of guides on how to do it on TH-cam
1% low are clearly better in 7900 GRE in general, even when the RTX 4070 super gives more avg fps, 7900GRE will give u the best stability. That is what happens when nvidia cut in VRAM and worse coolers, 7900gre consuming 280w is cooler than any rtx 4070 super model.

Your airflow is worse than his setup, also it depends on the overclock and ambient temp, but his setup has great airflow.

Should be able to, if there is a CPU bottleneck it will be pretty small.
I recently paired that gpu with a 5600x, to great success. No reason to think your 12400f would be much different.
