Nah, the double name thing wouldn't have worked for long. She lost her bearings because of Beatrice. Magic being the most logical conclusion was smart with regards to Kanon.

@@meeramalhotra33 She could say that but it would give too many hints. She is making Erika use the witch's darkness without knowing it. It is true there is someone in the closet, but she wants Erika to be guessing.
I love how at multiple parts, characters touch on bits of the truth, like different personalities or personas, two people having the same real name and such.

It's the very beginning of the chapter -which in itself is a preview of the wedding- and it occurs later in the chapter, as you find out how Battler actually got in there.
But the scene where he doesn't know what's going on and the witch from outside the window touches his hand is, definitely, the beginning.
Can anyone help me trace a scene? I think it's in Episode 6 maybe; a scene that we see Battler, trapped in a room and he tries to escape and he reaches for the window and some thing touches his hand or something; where is that scene?
