    I sincerely think that Indonesian food will be considered among the best in the world. It's because Indonesian food is based on fresh spices and herbs. And when you and I look at the list of food below, and notice the fresh herbs and multitude of spices used in Indonesian cooking, it truly is a huge contributing factor as to why Indonesian cuisine is so flavorful and exciting to eat.

      @@BryoMoss It came from the hokkien and teochew word, kwey teow means flat rice noodle. There should be additional words to explain how people cook it () char kwey teow for the fried) but I think in each country they just simplified it to kwey teow and the name stick to whichever is the most favorite way of cooking it in that country. Soup one in Thai and fried one in Indonesia. It's the classic misunderstanding of food's origin name

    I think she is missing key ingredient in the nasi goreng, the spice mix or spice paste (bumbu putih/kuning) to stir fry in the beginning. The ingredient is correct, mostly just rice, egg and sweet soya sauce, but one key ingredient IMO is the spice paste that is mixed in.

    nasi goreng in Indonesia doesn't cost 900 won, at least the cheapest for streefood is 1100 won to 1600 won. and in the cheapest restaurants the price is usually 2000won to 6000won (depending on the type of fried rice, there are nasi goreng seafood and nasi goreng crab , usually the most expensive is crab or duck or goat nasi goreng).
    but there is also the most expensive nasi goreng, namely nasi goreng with premium steak meat, usually sold for 20,000 won (because it uses premium steak meat).
    but indeed the average price of nasi goreng is 2500 won at restaurants and 1100 won at street food.

    how does the "pad thai" can be 1,5-2$?? when i go to thai and try it on the street or cheap restaurent, its alway 3-4$! i love it so i try a lot in every different place in Bangkok. So did i wrong or she just lying about the price?

    • @aburn9891
      @aburn9891 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Uh, depends where you eat it. If you go to local places then $1.5-$2 sounds about right but I've been studying abroad for several years now and I know inflation has risen and stuff has gotten more expensive. I still think it would wall in the $2-$2.5 range though, anymore than that and it's too expensive. But also, Thai people don't eat Pad Thai that often.
