@@123.MikeCheck Quick question: given the way the weights slot onto the sleeves, do you think if you turned them upside down when fully loaded they might potentially slip out? I'm worried about them being above my face when benching and not being secure. Thanks again.
@@charleslawrence7327 Hi there. Many apologies for the delayed response. Assuming the weight of the dumbbell does not exceed it’s listed capacity, I think that as long as the set screws are seated into the plate in front of it and the locking pins are tightly secured, I would feel comfortable with pressing movements, even if held upside down. I hope this helps. Pls let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing. Ive been eyeing this sets for a while now. Im not 100% convinced but for the price, the amount you can load and the somewhat easier load/unload makes them very appealing.
It took me a while to pull the trigger on these. But I’m glad I did and am happy to help in your decision making process. Let me know if you have any questions.
Hi there. Thanks for the great question. Given the types of brands I have access to in Hawaii, I am happy and do not regret the purchase. There has been some wear and tear with the plates but just cosmetic. Hawaii is very humid so there is some rust but nothing out of control. I plan to do a 1yr review of the dumbbells so I hope you stay tuned. Thanks again for the question and for watching! Cheers my friend!! 🤙🏻
Hi. Not sure if you saw my follow up video of the 30lb expansion kit. I did a quick unboxing which showed a foam insert that it shipped in. For now, I’m using those foam pieces to store unused plates on the bottom shelf of my dumbbell rack. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions. Thx for checking out the videos!
Sorry to point out the obvious but the 2 1/2 pound plates have the two side cutouts in the plate where the 5 pound plates are solid. Great review though. I like what I see and these are now on my wishlist.
Thanks I've been looking at these vs the iron masters and right now on their site a pair of 80s goes for around 500 vs iron masters are 700 for a pair of 75s I think
Very true... I would encourage everyone to review comments from other sources to make a well informed and educated decision. Thanks again for taking the time to watch.
I too considered Iron Masters but their shipping cost to my location is ridiculous, which I why to chose to go with the Eisenlinks. Thanks so much for watching!
Those look good . I love my ironmasters with the heavy handle kit the balance is much better. And they have a whole ecosystem behind them. The plate changing system is not that slow when you master the process. Having said that the repxpeppin blow all of them out of the water. Gonna get em when they come out
I also considered IronMasters. But due to my location, shipping costs put the price out of my reach. The RepXPeppin looks sweet but Rep does not ship to me so I’m out of luck again. I appreciate you watching!
I think the screws would hold under normal use. It seems like the screws (hex head) are replaceable. I’ll check and get back to you. Thanks for watching! Let me know if you have any feedback or other questions.
The most I could get onto one dumbbell is 95lbs or about 43kg. But keep in mind that at this weight, only a small portion of the locking pin is engaged with the handle. Without a longer pin, I would stick to deadlifts, shrugs, rows. If there is enough interest, I can do a part 2 video, discussing/showing maximum capacity. I hope this helps and thanks for watching!
@@123.MikeCheck thanks for the prompt reply! Another video would be highly appreciated :) During research regarding the dumbells I found Out that there is an extension available, but unfortunately only in the united states and not in Europe, at least so far. But if~40kg is possible without the extension i think iam going to buy these dumbells nonetheless.
I think those types of exercises should be ok. But I would recommended staying under 80lbs (unless you have the longer locking pins). Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!!
Hi there. The long locking pin is on the market but looks like it's out of stock on Amazon and Eisenlink's direct site (as of Apr 24, 2024). I've seen it become available but these pins are growing in demand so they sell out fairly quick. When they do become available, I hope you would kindly consider using the affiliate link in the description. Thanks for watching and let me know if you have further questions.
These are durable enough to be dropped from a reasonable height during normal use. Having padded floor covering helps too. I personally do not have any concern if they are dropped. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
@@john.paraiso Hi. The knurling is definitely more on the passive side. But to me, it’s still better than having the rubberized style of handles. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks!

Based on Amazon reviews, this is horrible product. The weights of the handle, end screws and plates are not as described. Even worse, the end screws can not be securely tighten and injure one of its users.
The locking screws on my set works fine and is solid. I don’t have a manual scale so have not had a chance to weigh each plate and handle. I’ll get back to you with an update. Thanks again for the comment.

How are you storing your plates? I like the design of everything except the plates. They're a pain to store without the 1 inch hole.
